The Legend of Heroes: Tales of the World

Is Space Dandy any good? I just don't really have the patience for a new anime series since it's been so long since I've watched any (making an exception eventually for rewatching the original Sailor Moon series, I heard it's on Hulu for free) but I'll totally watch it if it's worth it. :p

Look at this little guy I found on my fence today! I saw one the other day, too. Which means their scary grown-up counterparts are around somewhere... D;

And thanks/you're welcome, haha. I can't believe I worked on it so much that I had to be told to spend more time on the actual RP itself, I didn't really get very far with it at all ^^;;;;

My post is up, sorry Selan's is so dreadfully short, I wrote it after Lisette's and frankly I'm out of steam for "tonight" (5:30 AM). Hope no one minds what I did in my Lisette post (I'll happily change anything if need be), I may have Zelda too much on the brain because of this freakin' creepypasta my sister told me about (definitely recommend watching the corresponding videos after each post) so I thought that may have been what Buns was hinting at, but I dunno. But if so, that's a whole bunch of new tropes to add, lol.

I'm off to bed, but I'll be back soon enough later today, haha... ha... Tae's sleep schedule is so hopelessly screwed up again Good night guys!

Tower: Group A

Selan's idea didn't work, and neither did any of their others. Gas was filling the room through small openings along the bottom of the walls, and now their time was running out.

At the sight of the green-colored gas and the hissing sound, she pressed her silk sleeve firmly against her nose and mouth. Whatever it was, it was already making her eyes burn.

Trixie wailed and clung onto her free arm. "Ahhhh! I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"

"Don't panic," Selan said, her voice muffled. "What if we destroy the statues? Or--"

She was involuntarily cut off by a fit of coughing. The noxious gas was coating her throat, making it burn. "We're running out of time! What are we missing!?"

The Tower: Group B + C

After seeing the mirror versions of the others, Lisette looked around, half-curious and half-worried as to how her own reflection would act upon seeing her.

"Where d'you think you're going, dummy?" a nasally, girlish voice called out. Lisette whirled around to see her reflection leaning forward, hands on her hips. Mirror Lisette had a sneer on her face, her nose crinkled all the way up. Mirror Kapi wandered off to the other Mirror Guilders.

"Hey...! Is... Is that what I sound like? I don't sound like that, right?" Lisette asked, cringing.

"Jeez, you've got the attention span of a... a... ummm..." Mirror Lisette paused, scrunching her face up in thought.

"A child?" Lisette offered, scratching her chin.

"No, nooo... It was a... Ahh, I can't remember what I was gonna say..." Mirror Lisette sighed.

Both Lisettes were just standing in front of each other, deep in thought when the real Lisette stood up straight. She could feel a strange, tingly sensation on the back of her arms, and when her skirt moved it made a crackling static-y sound.

The mirror near Moira then shattered. While some mirrors began to float in the air and sail at the others, the mirror containing Lisette's copy simply shattered as well, and the black ooze dripped out onto the floor.

The ooze rolled around on the floor, then grew bigger and bigger, and finally began to take a shape.

"Wha...!?"

Calling the next post! I'm currently getting into the writing groove by editing my character OSTs, but it'll be up before I go to bed. Sorry it's so late, I had a really busy and stressful day trying to hang out with my dad and sister and once again failing at finishing my homework before the deadline. :| Nothing like having to interrupt homework to be forced out for dinner at 7:30, waiting 40 minutes for a table, being incredibly antsy about your homework the entire time, and then getting home at 9:30 with just enough to quickly bomb a quiz and post a 500-word discussion thingy before 10:00, ack.

I'm still laughing because all I really have for Nero right now is "Healing Potion" |D I definitely have so much more to add to everything but I have to put it out of my mind until post-homework, lol...

Finished my post, and I'm going to beeeddd! Have a good weekend everyone! I'll pop into the OOC occasionally while I'm doing my homework tomorrow at least :p I want to update my character OSTs, so I'll get back to you on that Pach!

Tower: Group A

Selan gasped as Estelle practically tackled Trixie the moment the pendulum swung right past them. She herself had nary enough time to press her back flat against the wall. How many seconds did it take for the pendulum to cross the room and disappear into the ceiling? Two? Three?

"Heh... hehe. Um. Whoops." Trixie chuckled, shrugging nervously.

Selan brought a fingertip to her temple, trying to figure out how to avoid that happening again. "Let's think about this for a moment..." she sighed, taking a second look around the room.

After inspecting carefully, she had an idea. "There are two different sigils on the shields. If we arrange them all so that they are facing their 'enemy', then..."

"Then?" Don asked expectantly, reaching his arms out to move one of the suits.

"... I don't know." Selan said, placing a hand on her hip. "But it's something to try, at least."

The Tower: Group B + C

"Woah!" Lisette squealed, recognizing her friends' collapsed forms. "You're all okay!"

Dylan immediately asked whether they too had the "dreams", to which Syed answered in the affirmative. It seemed that no one wanted to go into detail beyond that, including Lisette. For her at least, she didn't want to be seen as a baby; just knowing that she wasn't the only one who had a nightmare was enough for her.

"Is anyone hurt?" Amy asked the group warily. Lute asked her the same, looking at both her and Kapi with some concern.

"I'm alright..." Lisette said, brushing the dust off her clothes. She was pretty sure she could still smell the singed strands of hair that got caught in the Firon's flames, but she had plenty of hair left over.
However, Moira asked about tending to the burns on her hand, leaving the rest to deal with the matter of the creepy-looking door. Lisette thought someone else would give it a try, so she leaned against a wall to wait, and felt a cold metal object against her back. She turned to see what it was and discovered that it was a key, stuck to the oil on the painting. She plucked it off with ease and held onto it.

Dylan reached for the door, which opened with a loud, drawn-out creak. Turned out that the key wasn't for that door... Maybe they'd need it along the way.

Starting on my post now! It'll probably be short, I've got about 5 hours before my sister wakes me up D|
