Los Paraísos

Thunderhawk was being unusually pleasant, to the point that it sounded like it was actually requiring effort on his part. Not exactly a surprise, considering he was surrounded by mostly women, but it was a nice change of pace compared to her more recent memories of him. He didn't even have a retort for Amy's very blunt and very direct comment about his departure.

"Aria, your name is so pretty!" Lisette cooed as she followed the others to the tables. "My name is Lisette, it's super nice to meet you, and oh, this is Kapi! Say hello to the nice Guilder ladies Kapi~" She shook one of Kapi's nubby paws at her.

"Cranberry juice," Selan told the bartender before turning to the new faces in their group. "I'm Selan, it's a pleasure to meet you." she said in her usual polite tone, although she sounded a little more weary than usual. Her drink was placed in front of her with a light thud, the ice tinkling together amongst the ruby red liquid.

She took a single sip and had to cover her mouth in shock; she had forgotten to ask for something non-alcoholic, and due to the copious amounts of alcohol ordered by a few of the others, the bartender must have assumed that was what she wanted as well. There appeared to be vodka mixed in, and not the cheap kind, either. Well, it couldn't hurt... Selan rationalized, and took a slow sip. She normally avoided alcohol, finding it needlessly reckless and unhealthy to partake in, but it just felt like "one of those days". Besides, she felt like less of a party pooper for once, even though Moira and Amy alone probably drank enough for all of them combined.

Lisette gulped down her ginger soda and looked around, feeling a little restless from not really knowing what was going on. From behind her glass, her large eyes shifted from Estelle, to Thunderhawk, to Xandra, to Aria, hoping she'd get to find out how soon they could get their mission over with and start enjoying the water park and buying stuff. She had a purse of Gald just begging to be spent on treats and souvenirs!
That's what GameFly is for o3o
Oh my goooooosh ;w; Actually when I first saw them I was like "NO, GUINEA PIG-ISH THINGS SHOULD NOT BE THAT BIG" but ahhhh they're so cute <3

Pach, I think you asked what PS4 games I'd be getting? MGS for sure, and I think I might cough up money for the PS4 version of FF14. Other than that I guess I'm just waiting for other stuff, nothing really interests me too much. But the WWE Network is going to be available on there around the time I get it ^^

I'm getting a post up very soon, sorry that it's so late!
Okay, so, I was getting ready for bed, right? And I'm thinking, "I'll just shake out my blankets really quick just to double check that the spider's gone..."

And would you believe that the spider had been sitting smack dab on the center of my bed all day? Vacuumed and taken care of! 8]

Also, Papers, Please is a SUPER DEPRESSING game, I completely recommend it if you want to feel really uncomfortable. And Microsoft Minesweeper's Adventure mode is really addicting. @_@ I never knew how to play Minesweeper at all until I played that, now I feel dumb for not getting it, hahah.

Oh, also, I've never been to a concert-concert, I'm really short so I tend to have trouble seeing in crowds, and nothing ever happens close by anyway >_< I'd love to go to K-Con someday though, why do I have to be so far from the LA area ;~;
I'm done! Sorry about that Buns. Shouldn't conflict with anything you've written, I don't think~

Los Paraísos

"Oh my gods it's Thunderjerk!!!"

"Oh no..." Selan muttered under her breath. Why did he have to be here? Now? The man just didn't seem to get along with Estelle, to the point where he seemingly just left without another word. It seemed like ages ago since she had seen the chauvinistic, egotistical slimeball's face. And now, this little "vacation" just seemed to get less relaxing by the minute.

Selan's eyes flickered toward the bar; she needed a drink. Nothing alcoholic, just something tart and icy to calm her mood and her stomach. Maybe after they get everything squared away.

"Oooh, hiya Mister Thunder Man!" Lisette squealed. His name just wasn't coming back to her, no matter how hard she tried to remember. But for some odd reason, she was one of the very, very few members of the Pride who had met Thunderhawk and didn't find his behavior offputting. "Haven't seen you in a while!" she chirped happily, bouncing Kapi in her arms.

Kapi, whose memory was much better than his owner's, sniffed grumpily. He clearly remembered Thunderhawk trying to impale him with his javelin. Who would even consider doing such a thing? (Nevermind that capybaras are a much sought-after delicacy in some parts of the world.) But the two ladies next to him looked nice enough, and he perked up and tried to look as cute and cuddly as possible, hoping to draw their attention away from the scary man.
Feel 100% better soon, Danni!

Calling the next post! I normally wait until later but I lost track of a spider in my room and I need a distraction ;A; Oh and thanks Pach, I think I'll feel better after the weekend, even though I have to do a bit of homework every day to keep up. I have a midterm on Monday, ugh. Can't it just be two weekends from now, so I can have new glasses and a PS4 to keep me from freaking out? @_@
Hello everyone! This week of school was so, so bad *A* I'm so glad it's over. ;~;

All the art you guys have posted has been so cute/awesome, I wish I could draw better :/ My art-iness is limited to random stuff like the maps I've made for Pach, haha. But I finally got my tablet back yesterday, so maybe I'll practice sketching again.

Love the new avatar Fox, lolol

Los Paraísos: Bus Stop

Lisette wrinkled her nose at the smell of the overcrowded, overpriced food stands around them. "Aw jeez, it smells like hotdogs..."

Selan suddenly flinched and slapped her palm over her mouth. "L-Lisette, please... Don't say that word again..." she groaned, her voice muffled by her hand. There was absolutely nothing in her stomach, but something was bound to come up if she heard 'hotdog' one more time.

Lisette giggled and whirled around to take a look at the other attractions and shops, Kapi in one hand and her bag in the other. "Albatross, huh? I don't see it, but that's our hotel, right?" she said, shielding her eyes from the glare reflected off a shop sign. "C'mon, let's go check in so we can have some fuuun!"

And maybe I can lie down... Selan thought, but she had a feeling she wouldn't be let off the hook that easily. After all, they had a job to do. Yet, she couldn't help but feel uncomfortable by the decadence of it all; when she was younger, she certainly didn't have water parks, and casinos, and souvenir shops... Although it was hard to pay attention to that when she could feel dozens of pairs of eyes on them. Even in a place filled with tourists, it seemed like the Pride still managed to stick out like a sore thumb.

Los Paraísos: Docks

What a nightmare.

Selan was all too eager to get off the godsforsaken boat and back onto solid ground, and she walked unusually quickly onto the docks.

A little green in the face, sure, but she did her very best to keep her composure throughout their little trip; Selan had only reacted in fear to a small number of things in her time with the Pride: Gaoh, spiders, and ancient ruin traps. She was "thankful" to have been distracted during the strong thunderstorm that had loomed above them at the manor, but there was nothing keeping her from freaking out at the boat ride, so she holed herself up in her cramped little cabin for as long as she could, sick all the while.

But now that was over, and they were supposed to be on their way for work and pleasure; she traded her sleek ponytail for a messy, youthful bun, and she wore a white bikini covered by a loosely-fit fuschia dress, exposing one of her shoulders, and a pair of white sandals with a slight wedge heel. She actually managed to look her age for once, although the hair was actually an accident -- due to recovering from seasickness, she couldn't have been bothered to do a neater job with her hair, but it still looked nice nonetheless.

"Water park, water park!!" Lisette yelled, skipping onto the docks. Perhaps it was selective listening, but she clearly tuned out the part about both Syed and Moira being unable to enjoy the park for various reasons. Her seafoam-colored sundress twirled and bounced along with her, and tied around her neck, the halter part of her floral-patterned bathing suit was visible. Kapi was cradled tightly in her arms, blinking his beady black eyes rapidly in excitement at the word 'water' being said so many times.
