Aaaack @ turbulence, definitely no fun at all :S I'm glad you landed safely though, have a good time!

/fist bumps Rex

So yeah, I was a bit loopy on melatonin I guess, and I think I accidentally got up and set my alarm for another two hours this morning, so I missed my speech class today. :| Huge bummer, we get a lot of points taken away if we're absent on speech days, siiiigh. On the other hand, my math test went awesomely, and I somehow managed to get 59/58 (you're reading that correctly) on my accounting exam! So ;w;

Gonna start on a post now!
I'm at school and about to head back to class so I wish I could say more, but have a good trip Kathi!

“I see we are missing a Miss Estelle, Mr. Marcus, Miss Amy and Miss Trixie, Mr. Thunderhawk, Miss Aria and Miss Xandra… plus Mr. Don’s little sister, Miss Josette! I think it’d be wise for us to search for them, lest harm may have befallen them, at once!”

If it weren't for the baby in her arms, Selan would have thrown her hands up, or possibly even smacked the helmet right off of the "hero's" head. A plausible reason for Don's insistence on donning his new persona finally clicked for her; perhaps the trauma of his new hairstyle was just too much, and "Crimson Justice" was simply a coping mechanism. It was only a matter of time before he (and the others) would be forced to confront the truth, and frankly, she was in no mood to coddle his delusions, not while there was a missing infant gripping onto her hair and the electricity mage's finger.

"You forgot Kapi, Mister Justice!" Lisette added, looking rather deflated in addition to everything else she was feeling.

"Anyway..." Selan sighed to the others, particularly to Syed, who had a fascinated expression due to the strong grip the baby had on his little finger, and Moira, who as a mother likely understood the importance of finding the baby's parents as soon as possible more than anyone else. "The longer I hold him, the guiltier I feel for not remembering why I am in the first place... You all should probably look for the others or get breakfast if you want, but I'm going to straighten things out down in the lobby." she said matter-of-factly.

Selan turned to leave, and the baby squeezed Syed's finger even tighter, as though he didn't want to depart from these strangers just yet. But of course, he was forced to let go, and he blew a spit bubble into Selan's shoulder in protest.
Okay, Avatar stuff! I'm reacquainted now, haha. By the way, I seriously, seriously suggest not Googling anything unless you want to be accidentally, horrifically spoiled on major future plot points.

I'm surprised at how nice the animation quality/voice acting is considering things are usually a little shaky during the pilot episodes for most things. For someone who's watched the entire series, the difference in Katara's voice over time is pretty noticeable IMO (even though her voice actor has always been the same, Mae Whitman rocks). All of the main characters are very very close, but I think overall Katara's my favorite (and waterbending is my favorite bending element), so it'll be fun watching her grow all over again :') It was nice that one of her very first lines was literally calling out Sokka for being sexist, I had completely forgotten about that. And I forgot about airbender cakes too, lol.

Man, I can't wait until next-next week for "The Waterbending Scroll", Rex probably feels me on that one 8]

Getting my post up and then I'm going right to bed, it'll probably be shorter than what I've been doing lately because I don't have a lot to add until we move things along a bit.
I fell asleep after the second episode of ATLA, haha... ^^; Gonna try that again now that it isn't 5:30 AM, lol. I'll probably post my thoughts on it plus my IC post tonight, I have some stuff I want to get done since it's my day off. Have a good one, everybody!

"Nobody move?! Who the fuck do you think you are?!"

"Miss Moira, wait--"

"Everyone, calm down!" Selan called out, hurrying down the hallway with the baby in tow. "There's no need to panic, just take a wild guess who's in the costume." Don's superhero act was already getting old; it was causing nothing but misunderstandings at this point. Who knew a helmet could literally go to someone's head? In minutes flat, even.

"Oh, Miss Selan, you've got Kapi!" Lisette perked up at the sight of the bundle, rushing towards the songstress with hopeful excitement.

"Lisette, be careful," Selan cautioned as the pigtailed girl leaned over to see what she was carrying in her arms. One tug at the blankets to reveal its face was enough to make her jump back in shock.

"Oh my goodness, it's... It's a boy!" Lisette screeched, looking completely flabbergasted. "You never told us you were..."

"I wasn't." Selan said in a dismissive tone. "I'm not exactly clear on the details yet, I was hoping you all knew what happened last night. But well, looking at you all..."

Not a single one looked to be in their best condition either, especially not Moira, who was looking particularly disheveled and pissed off, while standing in only her undergarments.
I'm working on a post now, so please wait until I'm done? Whenever I post around this time of night I tend to get ninja'd, but I really want to get Selan and the baby in on the scene ASAP. I would have posted sooner if it wasn't for school =A= Edit: Done!

I had my watermelon keg presentation today! It was pretty... uncomfortable. My guy partner didn't memorize his parts at all despite spending an entire group meeting on just his parts, and my girl partner apparently said "um" at least 16 times, according to my teacher. We had this workshop thing with the whole class once the speeches were over, and he really hammered my guy partner for not memorizing his lines (and embarrassed him by taking away his index cards and asking him if he could recite his part, and he couldn't). Meanwhile when it got to me, my teacher said I had potential to have a really good speech next time, and I just need to relax and let my personality shine through more (so apparently I've improved in his eyes). And he asked other students about me, and one girl said that I basically saved our presentation and kept things moving along. Eeeesh.

I'll post my thoughts on AtLA stuffs later tonight! I have my day off from school so I'll refresh myself on all three episodes before I go to bed :)

Los Paraisos: Pellagio: Room ???

Like letting a child play pretend, Selan humored Don's new persona for as long as he continued to focus on their tasks at hand. Even though it would have been much easier to slink around the corridors without one of them being in a ridiculous costume, but it wasn't worth addressing. Without the helmet, Don would likely be lamenting over his lost hair.

"Do you remember where the others' rooms were, Miss?"

Selan was about to tell him that she actually had no clue where any of their friends' rooms were, but a piercing scream interrupted them.

"COME!" Don whirled around and dashed up the staircase, leaving Selan and the baby staring after him. It was almost impressive.

"Well, that's not going to happen," Selan remarked to the baby, who blew a spit bubble in response. Heels plus a hangover plus an infant? She wasn't going to be running anywhere. But she hurried after Crimson Justice as quickly as she could.

"You ok?" Syed whispered to Lisette, looking off at the bathroom for some reason. She vaguely remembered hearing Miss Amy's voice earlier, with a lot of commotion, but... She couldn't see a thing when she was trapped under the bed, facing the wall. She might have even dreamed it. Or something.

"I... don't know?" Lisette asked herself, looking up dazedly. "I think I feel really sick, but..."

She tried to take a deep breath, and the thought occurred to her that she was inhaling more vomit-smell, which caused her to suddenly scramble up to her feet. She rushed toward the door, limping on cramped legs like a wounded gazelle and pushing past Dylan and Lucien.

Standing in the hallway, Lisette placed her hands on her knees and sucked in the cool, fresh air in big gulps. Much better.

"Why don't I remember anything about last night!?" Lisette blurted out to her friends, looking slightly crazed now.

She wasn't so stupid that she could lose track of entire hours, she knew that, but there was no explanation for any of this! And to poor, frazzled Lisette who had never drunk more than a tiny sip of alcohol from her father's glass, she didn't understand why her head hurt so darn much or why her stomach gurgled dangerously with nausea. It hadn't even occurred to her that Kapi was nowhere in sight.
Haha Buns, I did the exact same thing last week I think! I dunno how it happens, but it just does.

Weird forum issue, but if you try and quote a post that's been edited, I don't think you get the right "version" of the post. I tried quoting Buns but it's different from what's actually there. Just me maybe?

Today is URGH, Daylight Savings totally threw me off and I have a lot of homework and speech-practicing that I need to do today, plus The Walking Dead, food shopping, and the fact that I am really freaking addicted to Don't Starve OTL I'm going to take a shower really quick and then I'll get a post up.

Edit: Done!
Posts are finally up, I got a late start today. I'm going to get me a bacon cheeseburger today, I've been craving one :U

Have a good Saturday, everyone!
