I went to bed, so sorry I'm only getting back to it now haha. Replied again, anyway :)
Elissa

"Hey!" Elissa greeted her friends as she opened the door and laughed as Cara pulled her in for a hug as soon as she could. She hugged her back tightly before releasing her so that she could embrace Norris, too. "So ready. I can't believe we can finally leave! It feels like we've been waiting for this forever," she sighed as she took a step back to give him some room. She'd be content once they were on the road and she could relax and enjoy herself. She felt too antsy right now. She didn't want to give any sign that she was unwell because then the questions would start and she'd have to finally stop ignoring the frightening indications that this wasn't just a bug. It was probably selfish of her to avoid going to the doctor before the trip but she was desperately clinging to the last hope that there was nothing wrong. If her suspicions were correct, her life would be changed forever and she wasn't ready for that. After all, it wouldn't just be her life that got turned upside down. Especially if the dates she was trying to ignore, matched up.

Norris provided a good distraction and she rolled her eyes at his comment. "Yeah, yeah. We wont use half of it and we'll regret it when there's no space to bring extra things home. I know, I know," she teased, bumping her hip against his before she started pulling her cases forward and out of the door. "You guys will regret it when you've got to wash your clothes instead of just putting on fresh ones," she warned over her shoulder as she headed towards the RV. "And none of this 'You're the woman, you do the washing,' rubbish. I'm on vacation."

Once she'd reached the RV, Elissa stopped and headed back to the house for her smaller bag with all of her essentials in it; books, her iPod, her phone, some snacks, her purse and some beauty necessities. She checked through it one more time to make sure she had everything before smiling and turning back to the others. She and Caleb had said goodbye to their parents that morning before they both left for work and now all that was left to do was lock up before they left.

Caleb

Caleb hadn't been convinced when his sister had assured him she was fine. He hoped there was nothing seriously wrong and that it had just been the excitement that had upset her stomach. Even so, her cheeks were flushed and he didn't miss the traces of concern in her eyes as she hurried past him to get the front door. He sighed, unsure whether he should push the subject or not. He just hoped she wouldn't be ill on the road. Elissa was a complete moan when she wasn't well and he knew she'd drive him crazy.

Cara's was the first voice he heard when the door opened and he grinned when he saw her, beautiful as ever with the sunlight making her blonde hair shine. He wanted nothing more than to step forward and kiss her but he resisted. The last thing they needed was a huge argument with Elissa about what was really going on between them, right before they left. It wasn't worth ruining the trip. Or at least, that was what he told himself.

"Morning," he replied as Cara stepped further into the house and pulled her into a hug while Elissa and Norris were distracted with one another. "I missed you," he whispered in her ear before letting go and taking a step back. He did miss her when she wasn't around, as stupid as that might sound considering they'd been friends for so long before things developed, romantically. Things were just so much more different with Cara than they'd ever been with previous girlfriends. He knew that she didn't just like him for the way he looked or how many friends he had. She was honest with him and it was a refreshing change. Plus, the sneaking around did make things a little more exciting, despite how much he wanted to come out with their relationship.

Caleb laughed at Norris' comment and looked pointedly at Elissa. "See? It's not just me that thinks you're ridiculous." He turned back to his best friend and squeezed his shoulder as he passed him to get his case. "Good luck putting up with her over the next few weeks. She's not easy to live with," he warned him and laughed at the objecting 'Hey!' that came from the garden as Elissa pulled out her bags. He lifted his own case and walked out the front door, shutting and locking it behind him once everyone was outside.

"Anyone want to drive first or should I?" he asked, opening up the doors so that they could start moving their bags inside. It was a really beautiful day; the cool breeze lessening the heat from the sun to the point where it was just comfortable. Even so, they had the AC on in the RV so that it would be nice and cool once they got going. There was a master bedroom with a double bed, another, smaller room with a single bed and the couch that folded out into a second double bed. The kitchen had a fully functional oven, microwave, toaster and kettle and the fridge was stacked full with an assortment of snacks and drinks. The bathroom had a large shower and an equally large mirror that Caleb imagined the girls would fight the guys for, every morning. There was a music system that played throughout the entirety of the vehicle and plenty of plenty of couches to lounge about on. There was even a couple of t.vs if they did get bored. The thing was pretty huge and Caleb was glad they'd decided to spend that little bit extra. He'd be happy enough to stay in it the whole trip, if they needed to.
Sorry for the delay. My internet was down for a while.
Elissa & Caleb

Elissa's sat on the couch in her parent's living room, her knees bouncing as she studied the map on the coffee table in front of her. She'd been up early, too excited to sleep, and had woken Caleb up, too. Much to his annoyance. She had everything she needed packed and ready to go last night and she was eager to get on the road now. Caleb, on the other hand, had finished packing this morning and stood at the window now, sipping coffee as he kept an eye out for Cara and Norris to arrive. The RV sat in the driveway. It was huge, casting a monstrous shadow across their front garden in the morning sun. They'd forked out a little extra for a really luxurious one so that they'd be comfortable during the whole trip. They'd figured it would mean they could spend less money on hotel rooms unless they really felt like staying somewhere else and neither were too worried about having to live in such close proximity with the other three. They spend nearly all of their time together as it is and hadn't quite managed to kill each other. Yet, anyway.

"What's taking so long?" Elissa moaned, standing up from her seat. She crossed to the window and leaned against Caleb who pushed her off and continued sipping his coffee with seemingly never ending patience. Elissa sighed in exasperation and returned to her cases to check for the fourth time that she hadn't forgotten anything.

"You've got everything packed. Cut it out," Caleb told her as he glanced over his shoulder, running a hand over his messy hair and Elissa stuck her tongue out at him, childishly. "I've got to make sure! I'm a girl, what if I forgot to pack something vital. Like tampons," she teased because she knew it would creep him out and he cringed and looked away like she'd expected him to.

"Ew. Okay, fine, whatever," he muttered, finishing his coffee and heading into the kitchen to wash the mug. And escape her, no doubt. Elissa chuckled to herself, zipping up her case for (hopefully) the final time as a wave of nausea washed over her. She jumped up, her hand flying to her mouth before she raced to the bathroom. She barely made it in time before the little she'd managed to eat for breakfast, resurfaced. She groaned in displeasure and pressed her forehead against the cool tiles on the walls for a second or two before standing and flushing the toilet.

"Elissa? Are you ok?" Caleb's concerned voice called through the door and she cleared her throat before answering. "I'm fine! Just over excited, probably," she called back, looking at her reflection in the mirror. Her mouth was pressed together in a grim line, her eyebrows creased in worry. This hadn't been the first time she'd been sick this week but she tried to push it out of her mind. She wasn't sick. She couldn't be. Not now that the trip was finally here. She washed her hands and brushed her teeth again, making sure to use plenty of mouthwash, before heading back out of the bathroom. She felt a little better now that her stomach was empty and forced a smile on her face as Caleb studied her.

"I'm fine," she insisted again and he opened his mouth to object just as the doorbell rang. "That's them! Let's go," she encouraged, hurrying around him to get the door.
I can start, if you like?
Well I was thinking they could have a huge RV type thing that they can sleep in while they're travelling and then stay in a hotel or a house here and there depending on how long they're staying. What do you think, though? It doesn't really matter either way :)
Cool beans. Can't wait :D

Sounds good! Honestly, if you think a different line up will work better, that's cool with me. And sounds good about Cara being a tour guide haha. Elissa will be full of questions for her :P

Is there anything else you want to iron out before we get started?
Okay, cool. Glad to hear it :)

Yes, definitely. Especially since Elissa is pregnant as well and taking care of a baby costs so much. As for the cancer, don't worry too much about getting your facts straight. I'll just take your word for it with whatever you say :P The jealousy thing also sounds like a really good idea. There's something so appealing about a little bit of jealousy xD

Florida would be cool to start with. They could be renting a place on the beach for a couple of days before moving onto wherever. Honestly, I don't mind where they go. I'm not 100% sure what there is to do in each state so if you feel like sending them off somewhere in particular next, that's fine with me :)
Yay :D Everything looks great! I hope I didn't make your character planning too difficult with some of the things I said in mine. I meant to tell you to tell me if you'd like to change some things but I forgot. And don't worry about the sibling thing, that's totally fine haha. Are you happy with your characters or did you want to change around? Sorry, that was my fault too for not being clearer.

I don't want him to die, either! It'd be so sad xD Maybe he almost does but manages to just about fight it? :P I'm a sucker for a happy ending haha.

History:
Elissa is the youngest twin by four minutes and her brother doesn't ever let her forget it. Even so, he's one of her best friends, despite how often they argue. They've always been very close and even as they grew up, that didn't really change. It was in high school that she met Cara and Caleb met Norris. Most of the time they spent their lunch breaks in their different circle of friends but as they neared their final years, they began to spend more time together - just the four of them. Caleb had always been more popular than Elissa but she didn't really mind. She wasn't the kind of person that had much time for the pretentious and the bitchy and she was sure that she would have made more enemies than friends if she had spent time with the popular crowd. She had always been one to speak her mind. She was a strong person. At least, until she met Jack.

In the beginning, things were great. He was the kind of boyfriend she'd always dreamed of having. He was generous and sweet and romantic in all the right ways and she fell for him quickly. Towards the end of their relationship, however, things grew sour. Jack got really jealous all of a sudden, especially because she spent so much time with Norris. He tried to convince her to stop seeing her friends and when she refused, he threatened to end things. She was mostly miserable now but she clung onto the hope that he would change. He'd been so good to her before, she knew it was in him.

At a party one night, Jack got really wasted. He accused her of cheating on him and called her all sorts of names. Upset and refusing to be seen crying, Elissa left but Jack followed. He started pushing her around, demanding to know who it was she'd been sleeping with, and when she wouldn't answer him, he hit her. She managed to get home after that and avoided him for a few days but she was frightened. She knew she needed to end things but she was worried about what he would do and how he would react. After much convincing from her friends, she went to see him to get it all over with. Cara and Norris came with her and promised they'd be nearby if she needed them and she made them promise not to tell Caleb how he had been violent because she knew how he'd react.

Jack was a completely different person. He cried, begged her to stay and that he'd just been drunk, promised her he would treat her right. It was hard for her to see him like that but she had to remind herself of how he'd treated her. Then, he changed. She saw him begin to get angry and he got aggressive. He lifted his hand to hit her again but Norris appeared and caught his arm before he could. They brought her home and she didn't see him again.

It was a couple months later that things between Elissa and Norris began to get more intimate. It was strange how she suddenly saw him as less of a friend and in more of a romantic light. Perhaps it was how he had helped her deal with Jack, she wasn't entirely sure. Now, they're dating and it's so much better. Things are easier with Norris than they ever were with Jack. She's finally happy.

Or, mostly happy. There's been a worry in the back of her mind the past couple of weeks that she knows she needs to check but she's doing her best to ignore her mood swings and morning sickness and the slight weight gain that seems to be confined to her belly and chest. She wants to just enjoy the road trip without the worry of anything else...Especially not that.

Name: Caleb Michael Danvers
Age: Eighteen
Appearance:

History:
Caleb had always been an all around good guy. He had always been someone that people just get along with very easily. Charismatic, friendly and those around him found him an easy person to open up to. He didn't make people feel nervous and he rarely felt nervous himself unless there was some sort of problem. He didn't see the sense in worrying his life away too often when he could be spending those moments enjoying it instead. Caleb had always up for a laugh and a good time. If it were up to him there'd be no such thing as work or school and he'd just spend all his time doing what he loves and is passionate about. In his eyes life is too short to spend any amount of time doing things you don't enjoy.

He was popular in high school and while he often spent a lot of time in a big crowd of people, Norris was always his closest friend. He knew that a lot of the people he spent time with weren't really his 'friends'. Or at least, that was what Elissa tried to tell him. He supposed she was right, to an extent. He knew that if he were in trouble, these people wouldn't back him up. Not like Norris would. Even so, he enjoyed their company and, if he was being really honest, the attention they gave him. He joined the football team and dated his fair share of cheerleaders but as they neared their final years in school, Caleb decided he'd had enough of being the popular kid. Of course, he still got invited to all of the parties and people still called out to him in the corridor, but most of his time was spent with his sister and their friends.

Part of the reason for this was because Caleb had begun to develop feelings for Cara. Of course, he'd always found her attractive and they would tease each other when they were growing up about getting married so that she and Elissa could be sisters. He never really dreamed of acting on these feelings, however. Cara was Elissa's best friend and he didn't know how she would feel about him suddenly dating her. Elissa was the closest person to him in the world and he didn't want to let her down. But...

Feelings slowly developed further when Caleb realized that Cara felt the same way. Somehow their simple friendship developed into something more whenever they were alone. At first, he didn't really think much of it but as things grew more serious, he decided it was time to tell the others but Cara resisted. She didn't want to upset Elissa and Caleb could understand. Even so, it was difficult for him. He didn't keep things from his sister and he wanted to be able to share his happiness. While sneaking around was exciting and different, he wanted to be able to kiss Cara whenever he wanted, or simply take her hand. Things he should be able to do without thinking about. He wants to come clean by the end of the trip but he's still working on convincing Cara. He wont say anything until she agrees. Even telling Norris is difficult now that he's dating Elissa. He doesn't want to put him into a difficult situation, either.
