Roles of each:
The Captain
Gives orders,set course, decide what will happen next. Ensure his crew safety at all cost.
The Pilot
Pilots in times of dangers, handles the ships weaponry. Helps in determining the course. Gives any needed information from scouting obtained. Is captains right hand.
The Engineer
Helps with repairing ship, hacks into the target ships. Determent if there is anything of worth plundering on the target. Takes care of hiding the crew identity and ship from spying eyes. Takes care of the AI.
Maid/Cook/Treasure keeper
Helps the ship holding on a clean healthy surroundings, ensure the crew is eating properly.Assist with health checks and assist with repairing. Determined the worth of the treasures, that arent technology. Knows multiple languages, even more worlds, and knows where what to sell or buy. Gathering of information from non technology sources .
Ships AI
The doctor of the ship, scout, entertainer, Know it all but says it if asked only.
The Ai will have a interactive holographic form, while being on the ship. The AI guards the ship when there is no one on board. Auto piloting when times are calm. The AI ensures the needs of the human portion of the crew are all taken care of it, so they can work to their best. Is able to hack and transfer pieces of self into other computers.

19900 years ago - First moon and mars colony on the verge of falling before they even existed properly.
19800 years ago - A discovery is made of observation a wandering comet. ''Its not a comet we dont know what it is, but we assume it looks like a comet to not to make space look ugly.''
19500 years ago- It still unclear how it works, but its discovered how to press the start up button and how to dial, something.
18000 years ago- The big moving. Countless human were put in groups and being send off to make colonies all over the cosmos.
15000 years ago - The golden years humans spread out a lot, but no other intelligent life was discovered. Even less the remains of the aliens who made the Dialing. A few smaller wars were going on but mostly things were calm, with lots of traveling and trading.
12500 years ago - AI are becoming common.
11850 years ago - A virus spread. Countless humans die.
11800 years ago - AI take over the control attempting to shield humans and stop them from dying out. The big isolation started.
5000 years ago - Humans survived more or less, but the losses were big. Some colonies are praying to corrupt AI, some forgot how to use technology. Some colonies live under the big brother eye of a AI. Some colonies actually survived keeping their AIs clean and non corrupt. From this colonies the new era starts. They relearn the use of the Dialing, starting in a slow tempo to recover. But it wasnt easy. War over resources erupted. The were colonies who made warship but the humans died out, so full fleets of ships are coursing the space attacking and destroying anything. Just as much as full manufactures were build to mine build and transport things. All done by mindless robots, who kept on doing it.
1000 years ago - People start to create states, having some trading routes and fighting back. At this times even the corrupt AI started to send out their own ships out, some to go for invading, some for searching for more humans to put into their wing, some searching for help. First pirates became know.
Today - The Pirate Era is in full going. They plunder the man-less ships, scavengers planets and colonies that were lost. Old technology is getting quite the worth on black markets. Still no sign of intelligent life beside humans...well not for too long. First hints start to appear, hints that humans arent alone. And those hints were found by Pirates who dared to go the furthers away. Some legendary pirates went even to the Dialings that were never used before. Those were inspiration for generations, the word about them spreading all over.
Age- Its tripled, but it tripled by slowing down the aging process. The pregnancy last only 18 mounts, the baby start slowing in aging within the first year from 2 times slow to 3 times slow.
You look like 10 you are 30 years old.
The age of 30 became legal working age over the worlds.
Names - There are two ways you may have been named.
The old earth way with a first and last name. Only kept in the colonies that had luck to keep their level of technology. Its rare.
The typical way named by Nickname and a number referring to the planet and a number of individual.
Example Joker 2145-501 would probably say he is Joker from 501.
Main language - English. But they may be countless evolution and changes creating new languages depending on the colony.
Babies - Some places its done natural ways, some places its cloning and growing in tubes. Some places uses any two humans mix their genes and tube grow the baby. Tube born babies usually have a chip in their neck, holding their identity. On black market one can remove it.
Appearance: Various sized asteroids.
Recognizance: The Dialings emit a frequency and a background radiation that can be picked by the most ship scanners this days. Even when they are inactive.
Operating: Most ships have interference that do the most work away from users eyes. As long as one pick the numbered destination.
Each Dialing has a number of saved destination. There arent any ways of inserting new destination. The destination could be to known places or to unknown. Some even to deadly points in the space.
The Process of Dialing: Once the destination is inserted the object that has requested it will be surrounded by a light ball, when being moved thought the fabric of space and time,making it all but sink thought it to the destination. Mean time inside the light ball the time goes on. Each Dialed object gets its own route, you may dialed after someone but arrive before.
Duration: The transport can last from 20 minutes up to a week. Its not determent by distance of travel. In some cases there were reported that the travel lasted over several mounts, to appeared where it started from. It is considered that it is malfunction. It is only known to a few people across the cosmos that it is possible to cause the malfunction by hand.
Extra: The Dialings arent possible to destroy. if they are inside a red star surface and you dial to it you will be found on the red star surface and be dead.
Once The Dialings started to transport you, there are no way known of interrupting it.
Failing of the Dialing process:
Can happen when too many objects are around the dialing ship.
Can happen when the dialing ship is too wrecked. How much damage the Dialing accepts is unknown.
Creators:
Are assumed to be a alien specie, that died out. No other technology was discovered till today.
Extra: Its some Pirates Dreams to find the planet of this civilization and loot it. Its the holy grail when it comes to treasures and exploration.
From the outside:
Command bridge
There are 4 quarters, Each is 3 x 3 m. The walls and other things can be decorated at will. Each room has a mini bath with shower and sink and toilette. No problems having hot water either.
The kitchen and dinning room
The Lounge intended for relaxing, getting drunk, partying.
The engine room is small but can access any system from here.
The medic room
The hanger is for one ship intended.
The small ship, is mostly intended for times when transporting goods out the and in the pirate ship if other methods arent available. Just as same as it is used in landing on planets. It has 2 seats, but 4 people can find the place in the cockpit. A few weapons, and a shield but it isnt intended for heavy combat.
Cosmos dialing book. Holds all colonies by numbers with short descriptions. Will be updated out as the story progress.
0 - Colony zero. Known in the Ancient times as the Earth and solar system. Place humans originated from. After the big isolation Colony zero wasnt able to be dialed. Reasons unknown.
1-266-0 A death research space colony orbiting a gas giant. The colony died out in the time of the great isolation. Most things were scavenged in the early years of the pirate era.
13 - Governed by a corrupted AI. High intolerant towards guest,visitors anyone beside it citizens, military AI and military human controlled space ship that shot at sight of any intruder.
2-039-2 One of the planets that are known for its high trading value and ship building, including the seat of several strong corporations.
2-039-3 The planet with high trading value of food. Known for its mass production of food, medicine and clean water.
42- A older colony, known for the daily partying. Strict regime, possible corrupt AI. Guest and travelers tends to become part of the system.
566 - Experimental Colony. Citizens were subject to loud music at all hours of the day, for several generation. Observed adjusting to the music, restlessness and strong dislike to silents. Orchestral Force Cadets - military pilot force defending the plant.
69- Encyclopedia A 4 planet solar system orbiting binary suns. Trading and non native travelers are able to entered only the space ship port, that is close to the Dialing. Its considered a crime if any non native enters even the orbit of any of the 4 planets. Not to speak about landing there.
Rumors: Considered that deep inside the planets lays all of humanity knowledge, and all of history recorded. It is said that their advanced technology to a rank where it resembles magic for any other advanced colony. No citizens are allowed to leave the planet system at will.
The one that did left cannot return and have gone thought a process they call ''Wisdom Pulling''. They do not remember what it is.
The system doesnt go into trading and is known for extremely strong defense weapons and strictness towards outsiders.
78 - No colony here. Planet death. This place is full with raging climate changes, and hundredths of deadly beast. Not a single life form on this planet is not in one way or the other deadly for human. Rumors: It is said that some sects send their members here to have the ultimate surviving training. The one who live for 2 years are said to be the ultimate killing and surviving machines of humans.
7-990-1 - Sister planet of C-992-0. Population: Genetically defective people from C-992-0; All born on 7-900-1
801- The Tourist paradise colony. Rich in flora and bird like animals, its the millions of small hot springs that attract tourist all over the space. Native population is limited to 50000 citizens who all work in the tourist department. A high level of administration can be noticed. Its a no weapon zone. Breaking the rule and bringing any kind of weapon is considered the highest crime and the robot police would go after the criminals, and imprison them on the planets moon 801-1.
801-1 The pink moon of the colony 801. Known for its prison for any law breaker, that happened on 801. It solely run by robots who run on routines. Maintenance is done by other robots. This arent considered AI but are the closest to be one.
C-992-0 - Governed by AI. Population: Small, no defective can be found.
F-F32 -A resent colony on a lonely planet orbiting a white draft. Known for black markets and the lack of any laws or organisation.
We are a pirate grew that are knows as the Invisible. Thanks to the fact that our faces arent known for certainty.
We traveled for 12 years together already many adventures behind us and plan to travel on our adventures even more.
We have taken out many Auto piloted ships, scavenging them afterwards. Every person on the ship, this include the AI too, is part of the family. Bad and good times shared.
There are a few rulers.
-No one misses the game Tuesday. Usually played are board or card games.
-You eat in the kitchen with everyone else or stay hungry, no taking food in your room except you are planning a surprise party for another member.
-Dirty cloths has to be washed once a week.
-Baths are a must, no stinky please.
-No questioning about the past, if someone want to share a life story they are free to do it.
