"Exactly, we just lock him down... alright, seems like we have a-" Krait started, before a loud shatter could be heard, the nudge the jet took making Krait almost lose her balance as she stumbled to lean against the wall. "No... no, no, no, no NO!" she cursed, quickly leaping one feet back to the cockpit, already feeling, as well as now seeing the slow spin that the aircraft was taking. "Chump! Get this thing back in control." she said, holding from the back of the pilots chair as there was already red light spinning wildly for the sign of crucial failure.

System failure. Rear turbine offline... losing altitude, crashing imminent.

Krait couldn't believe this... she couldn't take this on herself. "You fucking shit! You won't be crashing me on piloting on my first day!" Krait shouted at the computer, noticing the jet stirring slightly towards a building. Quickly going for the steering pad, she pulled it back as much as she could, as the side of the jet slid against one of the burning buildings, shattering controls and the AI voice completely. The jet was mostly dead weight on slight lift on engines as the windshield had large cracks on it from the impact, only the strength of Krait keeping still her hands so tight on the control pad that her knuckles were turning white under the suit.

"Get back online this second! That's an order! Work damnit!" she kept shouting out in extreme frustration, hitting the buttons with her fist as she was mostly in her own fixated world. Of course she should of kept this jet out of the targets visual, and now all she could thing was being a mere laughing stock if this thing was going down.
Well, I need to grab my shut-eye before going to work. You can just assume I'm along as yesterday though ^^
Well, to be honest, she was left behind the moment she couldn't jump out of the plane with others already :P
Krait flinched at the sound of the almost ear deafening roar, walking bit more casually in front of Leather hide. "It'll depend on what... what you can handle." she said, hoping she wasn't ticking him off as the size of his on the hallway was... well, the plane would tear from inside out in minutes if that thing decided to go on a rampage. Krait also noted to herself that if they were kept on pairs on daily basis, she needed something for possible neck aches, as staring up to his facial features did make quite an effort physically... not even mentioning mentally.

"I'm not entirely sure of this 'Hellhound' person they mentioned, but those attributes combined... he wouldn't be impossible target, but definitely a threat to the mission, as well as he could cause us major time, allowing this situation spread out of hands. That's why we need something to break him from his chaotic state... or someone... I hope Sparky would be able to handle that." Krait continued, trying to sound as professional and informatively neutral as she could, though her tone was shaking slightly every now and then at the sight of the massive figure.

"She couldn't get even close to him now though, not by a longshot, which is why we would need him to be... hold onto." she continued. "...How high would you be able to drop from, if there would be a single human-cushion pillow below?" she then asked, placing folding her arms as she would of loved to raise her eyebrow if she could of shown it.
"You'll pinch me hard enough, you might find out." Krait answered like it was supposed to be straight answer to Steampunk, before laying back on her chair only for that one moment, before they were moving out. She didn't need anything else than her sword, being mostly on her own world as the group entered into the plane... and as one by one they dropped down to the city.

As she saw people dropping off one by one, she knew she wasn't going to be following them... not from this height. Muttering curses, especially when everyone else, especially the damn Runner were doing it like a walk in the park. "Come on Sparky..." she then muttered, turning her head as she signed with her finger for Hart to follow her, almost crashing face first to the giant on her way. Suddenly stopping as she turned her head, she just looked up at the thing, before moving aside. "And you too... unless that body of yours can handle the splat effect." she said, walking all the way from the back exit to the front, through the hallway and to the cockpit, the automatic doors sliding from her way.

Member of delta squad entering the cockpit, providing answer... greetings. a mechanized voice was heard from the speakers in the cockpit.

"Locate an extraction point near the spot of the rest of the squad. Maximum height to drop: 5 meters." she said, using metric system with AI's, just as she was trained to do.

Scanning the ground in process... the voice answered, beaming a small hologram on the cockpits desk, starting to build the image of the terrain under them. Listening on the standard earphone she had on her gear, she was trying to make it out what was the situation down there until she heard Nics message. She wasn't expert putting down fires, but she was expert on putting down fire igniters.

"Krait calling for Accelerator... we might have a solution to your problem, try to distract the man to the middle of the street... we'll have a package he would be dying to get, over." she said before taking a closer look at the hologram, pressing her finger on it. "Cancel the previous order chump, we need this ship right there." she said.

Name 'Chump' not recognized, the AI's code na-

"Overwrite, you're chump to me now." she said, turning around to leave to the back of the ship again with a slight grin on her masked face. Seemed like there was use to the beastly wrecking ball after all.
Is it assumable there's some sort of AI on the pilot seat? IN other words, the jet flies itself? I know my character would be nothing more than a pile of fleshy mess if she just jumps, and I might need some actual way to get off of the plane, which I could work in such circumstances nicely.
Oh my... mixture of different timezone and unpredictable workshifts might not be the best, time to read some stuff. At least my character doesn't need much motivation to just walk silently along with the others.
Krait looked at Steampunk for a moment, almost answering to him before the alien managed to shout out loud to her surprise. Turning to face the alien instead, she didn't move much, just leaning slightly forward. "Don't... test me." she said bluntly, not caring much of him wildly announcing her whereabouts in the room, even if everyone were aware of it already, at least the ones that looked at the files... it was more than just a touchy subject to her.

Seeing Runner coming in the room, Krait tried to look like she was just staring at nothingness, though her pupils moved behind the lenses, observing her every step, as she crossed her arms. "Steampunk huh? Why such name?" Krait then asked, out of some slight sense of politeness in her so that she wouldn't be marked as the groups black sheep right away.
I knew the first second I managed to finish Rains CS, that Krait wasn't going to be too fond of her :P
One of the rooms stood still, like the time itself had stopped, as Krait was still sitting on the side of her bed, the files of the people dropped on the floor. She was breathing calm, trying to regather herself... after all, the company had paid a good money for her training to be just replaced by this seemingly fancier version of her, 'Runner'. She had been putting too much effort to this to be held still now while someone else would be doing her job, the mixture of coherent thoughts and frustrated emotions storming in her head, breaking into one simple sentence...

ALL MEMBERS OF DELTA SQUAD REPORT TO MISSION CONTROL FOR BRIEFING

Sitting for moment, covering her masked face with her hands, Krait took a moment, sighing deep through her mouth before getting up, deciding to leave her katana leaning against the wall as she went out. She hadn't even unpacked, both of her suitcases still on the corner, waiting. Walking through the hallways, Krait was already hearing half of one of the codenames as the automatic door to the mission control slid open. Letting the sound of her boots welcome herself in, she barely even looked at the twos direction as she went to have a chair where there was one chair in between from both of them.
