Stephanie had just nodded before going outside. It had been her lawyer, informing that the police was looking for her again. Of course that was barely something to shrug at if it were just a simple routine, where the cops would ask questions about her and she would manage to answer the way they really wouldn't get anything out of it, but what got her off was the fact she was not the suspect this time, but the victim.

Apparently someone had noticed a girl looking a lot like her being abducted during the evening and since the same deputy had seen her so recently, the details the bystander had given had been similar to Stephanie. It was supported by the fact she hadn't been answering to her cell phone, nor was she found in her home during the night. Apparently the investigators were at her home right now to search clues when realizing Stephanie, or at least someone, had used the place during the really late hours, or really early hours along with drops of blood. Good thing about it was the fact Stephanie was now patched like new, so she could make up another story quite reliably, bad thing was now she couldn't even guess what was cause of the wound... or more importantly, who.
"Yeah, I really don't know where to look." Stephanie said with bit of a chuckle, shortly cut off by muffled buzzing in her purse. Stephanie sighed, as she opened the bag and grabbed the cell phone that was on silence. "If you'll excuse me for a moment." she said, turning slightly away from Liz as she started talking. "Mrs. Norman on the phone... mhm... mhm... what?... you'll just have to deal with i-... and still you didn't call me earlier?... well, I was having a bit of a moment... yes, I understand... fine".

Stephanie then closed the phone, still smiling though the news were far from pleasant. "Uh... sorry for the quick call. Seems like there has been bit of a hassle last night, seems like I need to be on the move already." she said with bit of an awkward laugh. "But hey, now I know that if I scrape myself on a broken glass, I know where to come to get patched." she said, deciding it was best if she wouldn't start telling anything about where she exactly needed to go.
And ooc, up. Still working my Cs though ;P
Stephanie stopped at the door as she heard the nurse. Turning around her smile was even bigger than before. "Nice to meet you Liz. Mrs. Norman... I mean, Stephanie Norman." she said with awkward chuckle, slowly walking back. "So is it just you around being... you know, like that, or you have family, contacts of some sort?" Stephanie asked out of curiosity. "I haven't been able to catch on anyone... well, apart from you now of course. Would think the world is smaller than that." she said, looking outside again just to double check sun was shining out bright and clear, even if it didn't matter in the bright electric lighting inside.
Stephanie bowed slightly as she got the card back, not minding how much the nurse had taken from her account. "Thank you... do you mind if I... uh, stick around for a moment?" Stephanie then asked openly curious before blushing slightly. "...Sorry, It's just been so, so long since I've seen anyone non human around, so I thought... hmh, nevermind." she stumbled on her words, readjusting her jacket. If she was holding hospital up by herself, Stephanie assumed she had far more important things to do than some awkward chitchatter with her, so Stephanie just nodded before turning to the doors.
"Alright then." Stephanie answered with a smile as she grabbed her Mastercard. "I hope you accept these." she then said with a smile. It had been so long since Stephanie could feel free to speak to someone without accidentally slipping something suspicious, that by seeing someone else like her was worth the cost... not exactly like her, but beggars weren't choosers. "So found yourself actual hospital to do work in? I couldn't think anything more suiting for a witch like you." she said, looking the reception room. "Business doing good? To be honest I haven't even heard of this place before. The cab driver just dropped me by half accident." she then added with a slight laugh.
Stephanie was about to answer when she was suddenly caught off the fact the nurse said she knew this already. "Bravo." Stephanie said delighted, clapping few times like audience. "I will admit you had me there." Stephanie said, before coming few steps closer. "But if I had been human, is this really the normal situation here? Because if you keep doing that, it won't be taking long until news teams start surrounding this place, or religious fanatics, or even some governments men..." Stephanie continued before sighing. "Alright, so how much is it? I assume five minutes healing from wounds like that doesn't come off too cheap." she said, already going for her wallet.
At this point it was rather obvious that the woman was somewhat non human... but how, was yet for Stephanie to determine. "Wait... you're seriously suggesting you just can cure people single handedly like that, without assistance? You think you're a wizard or something?" Stephanie tried to ask as innocently about her own whereabouts as possible. "I mean, that's crazy talk you're saying... but you've pretty much proven yourself, so you really just... do it like that?".
"Anything?" Stephanie said, bit flustered as she lifted her eyebrows, trying to figure this woman out. "I mean what did you do? A talent would be to be able manage to identify disease without checking it from the computer, curing deep wounds in matter seconds is inhuman, a goddamn miracle... pardon my language." Stephanie said, swallowing once. "I doubt that is a thing to learn in medical schools. Is it some sort of drug or what? Because, as grateful as I am, if you stuck some strange stuff into me like into a lab rat..." she started. She couldn't make herself sound threatening though, already slightly embarrassed from her words.
I hope it doesn't turn out to look too silly for us to just replying each other in such a row in the IC ;P
