Stephanie only nodded as a thanks as she sunk her thoughts into the paper Myra had wrote for her. As Myra left the scene, Stephanie barely even noted liz, almost being paralyzed on her feet. "Holy..." Stephanie said, though she prevented herself from swearing. "This is not good... not good at all. This is far from something by an accident, or getting to a fight. Someone has a hitman on me, a trigger man... I think at least." Stephanie said. Of course it wasn't out of the possibilities in the first place, but this was terrifying. "I got away. They'll track my house down though. What am I supposed to do to this?" Stephanie asked from Liz, not really expecting answer.
"S-shot!?" Stephanie asked, being probably even more shocked, given it had happened to her. "This... how the... the bullet must've gone entirely through, otherwise I could of guessed but... jezus." Stephanie thought, lifting her other hand to her chin, being a lot more worried about the situation than before. "...a city huh..." she then said bit more silent, not smiling anymore. "Is it some kind of metaphor or...?".
PM'ed back.
"Yes, of course I will." Stephanie said before being silent for a moment. "Uhh... so what this 'trinket' would specifically be?" she then asked, hoping that it was something she could just go and buy from the store rather than some spiritual thing. After all, when it came to money she didn't have trouble. Her weaknesses were not on any part a human would manage to take advantage of, but of course, she was far from regular human. At least Stephanie had got that much so far from this conversation.
"...Yup, pretty much. Not long ago either, just last night." Stephanie added, in case a really short memory would be somehow easier to get. Stephanie still didn't know what was she going to do to make it happen, but at least it was worth a shot. "If you could... there could be lives depending on it, or at least a life." she added, not so sure how wise was it to try and go through her emotions to make this happen.
...Night?
Stephanie took her hand back quickly as it had been let down. "Oh, sorry..." Stephanie said slightly awkward, almost losing her smile for a second. She did then look at Liz and hoped that she really knew how to persuade people. Stephanie knew how to charm some type of people, but from the first looks, Myra was far from someone even near of those categories.
"Hi." Stephanie answered with a nod, listening what Liz had just said. "Myra huh. Well, nice to meet you, apart from working hours. My name is Stephanie Norman." Stephanie said with a smile, while giving her hand out for a shake. She was still curious of what this woman, Myra, would be able to do in help for her cause.
Stephanie hurried to get in as well before the rain would kick in on its full effect, feeling a lot more cozier now that she was inside of actual home. Not a rented luxury apartment, nor an office at the city, but actual house someone had all for herself without any ruling about noises or decorating. "This place is really nice, even better form inside." Stephanie complimented. She didn't mind if it was a little old, it added bit of a mood into the rooms. "Good thing we did go for that cafe and not straight to your home, or I would of accidentally emptied your fridge or something." she joked again, taking off her shoes, peaking into the different rooms, not daring to just wander further inside, being guest and all.
"Oh? Well, I hope you manage to have your nights rest without someone calling to you every other hour." Stephanie said, as they had walked far enough for Stephanie now to see Liz's apartment. It didn't look too ambitious, but given Liz's situation, it was way more than enough, at least Stephanie assumed so. "Nice place you got. How big it is exactly? Got any magic rooms in there?" she said joking, laughing a little as she followed Liz to the door, feeling few first drops of rain coming down on the pavement.
