Bio

Yes my name is shit, please don't refer to me by it. Just call me Alpha.

I'm mail and my thing is science fiction. If it involves space travel, I've probably looked into it, since that's my big shebang although I am rather fond of cyberpunk and near-future as well. I'm also big on Atompunk, which is essentially taking the nuclear-obsession and Cold War hysteria of the United States from about 1946-1968. Best example of that is the Fallout games (Which, yes, is one of my favorite series of video games).

I'll do other kinds of roleplay but I really like Nation Roleplay, and typically the sci-fi ones since it's fun making new races, tech, etc. As a result I do like me certain empire-building RTS's and 4X games, like Civilization, Rise of Nations, O.R.B., (And maybe Sins of a Solar Empire if I had a better computer ;-;).

Feel free to enjoy what I've written, I don't have much since I do this rather casually.

Sazkar Major

The news that the Equestrians had been completely killed off in one fell swoop set off celebration on Sazkar. All military forces were pulled from once-Equestrian controlled regions; a few weeks of leave were in order for the sailors out there. A funeral and memorial was held for Night Specter, and the crew of Spirit of the Damned was awarded for their service above Equiis. After some time, Grand Vessel Suar'kum had delivered a speech in recognition, and in glory, of the fall of the Equestrians.

"We once saw the Equestrians as friends. We joined them in a diplomatic pact and looked to become an intergalactic superpower. Alas, their hearts were darkened with power, and the new leader in place was clearly one unfit to carry out such duty. This magic-deprivation finally signaled their end. The end of an empire...one obstacle less to achieve a powerful position in the universe. A potential attack of the Sazkarjhit was always gleaming in space, and we stood prepared to fight them off. They are now no longer a threat, and perhaps, if only for a short while, enjoy a period of peace, tranquility, and prosperity. Our new-found alliance with the Triarian Collective and the Zonanese Empire will, too, help us reach this. With Equiis and her colonies now mostly uninhabited, it is up to us to recover the technology they withheld from us.

Today, we turn a new page in history. An empire falls, and its worlds now ripe for development. It's been a long while, but I also hope that our sailors searching for our new planet find something that will only help in improving Sazkarjhia. May the gods always be our beacon in these times. Amen."

Colonization Report: Sazkarjhia Colonization Fleet 003, Fleetmaster Sayar Tin'yum

The old Fleetmaster awaited on the bridge as he sipped from a warm drink. He looked through the viewscreen as the fleet loomed over the celestial body. Now in geosynchronous orbit with the planet, science crews had reached the surface and began expeditions after the atmosphere was recorded to contain about 54% chlorine. Documents were coming in by the hour, describing what they found. But suddenly, the entire bridge went red, a distress signal came from the surface crew.

"We've...we've discovered some-...station near a basi-...we're taking hea-...But they're Saz...I think they're...no...no they can't YEAAAARGCH-"

Sayar rushed to the life support station, one whole crews' life status flatlined.

"Station? Sazkarjhians? This can't be...this can't be right..." he whispered to himself. He strode to his deployment officer.

"Send a group of marines down to the last received coordinates and find out what this 'station' is. If we have pirates down there it could be a serious problem. Make sure we can safeguard the colony ships, those are our top priorities."

"Aye, sir. Dispatching soldiers."
Equiis

The light pulse was much more powerful than was thought at first. SBCO officials monitoring the ship noticed it disappear off the star charts and realized that it was powerful enough to destroy it. A funeral was arranged for the crew of the ship, and recovery crews were sent to gather any sort of technology that survived the blast.
Above Equiis

The vastness of space shimmered, and a shape materialized as it distorted the stars. Eventually a dark-gray ship appeared and began moving close to the celestial body. Grand Fleetmaster Gylial Grasdin'kum reviewed her orders as she stood at the bridge of the Samani-Class corvette Night Specter.

SAZKARJHIA BUREAU OF CLANDESTINE OPERATIONS
QUADRANT A-C-1041 DIVISION
TO: CODENAME: DARKELOS
FROM: HIGH COMMAND

DIRECTIVE: Engage in covert espionage over Equestrian territory for extended period of time. Deploy listening post with incoming meteor shower EPM00491. Prevent from being detected, use force only if absolutely necessary. Do whatever necessary to keep Sazkarjhit integrity and prevent anything from being found out by Republic. Keep out of harm's way as much as possible. After period of 0.2 SOLAR CYCLES return to HIGH COMMAND to deliver data.

EPM00491 was inbound to the planet, so the ship fired its engines and maneuvered nearby the incoming field. A small pod, disguised as a rock, jettisoned from the aircraft and into the middle of the meteorite formation. The Samani returned back into distant orbit and raised an intense stealth cloak.
Bellaran Swamp Basilisk Update: SDF Biological R&D Division

We've captured a few specimens from the Western Lowland swamps to begin research on. Specifically, we caught four males and two females, each within relative length and weight of each other. Our largest male, Barsko, is about 4.9 meters long and weighs about 600 kilograms. Our largest female, Karkaawa, is about 4.7 meters long and weighs about 570 kilograms.

Studies of the basilisks are hard to do in person, especially the hostility between equal-gender specimens. Barsko was caught in such a violent fight with one of our other male basilisks--Caryu--that two scientists were killed trying to contain him. The acid they jettison doesn't alleviate the situation either.

Speaking of the acid, we found out that it's some extremely corrosive form of sulfuric acid. This doesn't surprise us, as the Western Lowland region of Bellaran has vast underground reserves of sulfur and acid rain follows as a result when it reaches the surface of the marshes. Something in its diet or what it drinks apparently allows it to produce the acid in a strong enough quantity that nearly anything will have a hole in it in minutes' time. Our runt female, however, Timi, cannot produce as much acid, and we've seen a physiological change including sharper teeth and longer grasping claws.

Turning these creatures loose on the battlefield could be dangerous to our own soldiers, as we consider it. The basilisks are large and very heavy, and their aggressive behavior, even while mostly tame, would be a hazard to soldiers. However, this extremely powerful acid concoction they "spit" and their nearly-impenetrable hide would make them a valuable asset in combat.

We'll continue to collect data as we find more about these creatures.

Mars Crisis

The DeSpIC soldiers had heard reports that the crisis was resolved. The team turned back and fired their jets, taking large leaps as they returned to towards the foothills of Olympus Mons. The air began to shimmer as Shadow of the Fallen seemingly appeared out of nowhere. They leaped up onto one of the large wings, and popped open an airlock hatch. The ship fired repulsor engines and skyrocketed upwards, rejoining the rest of the stealth fleet orbiting the Red Planet.
Mars Hostage Crisis

The Stealth Insertion Fleet (Under directive of the Sazkarjhia Bureau of Clandestine Operations) came out of warp in OSS4912 (Known as "Sol" to denizens of the system) and quickly banked around. The fleet cloaked and remained farther from the system while a Samani-Class stealth corvette, Shadow of the Fallen, made headway towards the station. A small pod jettisoned out from the craft. Due to the Red Planet's low atmosphere, reentry was fast and worry of burning up was almost non-existence. The meteoric vessel fired retro-rockets and deployed flaps before it impacted on the surface. The hatch popped open and a swathe of black slithered out from it.

It was three men, each in black, shielded armor. The only thing of different color was the yellow visor and a white light that protruded from the shoulder. Each one carried a Type 4 CAR and a Type 60 MagRifle. They turned around and waited, eventually a bulky mass of the same black color leaped out, in his grasp a massive, waist-mounted railgun. They waited for him to join up with the group, and then one--presumably the leader--laid down a projector, a map appeared, their position pinged on a massive mountain.

"If this thing's right," the leader spoke through his comm system, "then we apparently landed on what the populous here call 'Olympus Mons', we need to head out for the base, which is in this direction." he finished as he pointed at another, red ping identifying the base.

"This is a covert operation. We get in, provide support, and await for pickup at the peak of Olympus. Try not to be seen, and if you need to go for a stealthy takedown, use your Type 60 or, in Tank's case, mini coilgun. I don't want anyone firing off a CAR unless we get into a firefight, understood?"

Three individual pings sounded off, identifying the acknowledgement.

"Alpha Squad, this is Shadow, report your status, over."

"Captain Maldin'kum, callsign 'Spearhead', team leader, reporting in." the leader reported.
"1st Officer Barsko'gum, callsign 'Powder Keg', demolitions, reporting in." one of the soldiers responded.
"High Sergeant Gamra'bum, callsign 'Short', tech, reporting in." the third soldier replied.
"SDF Heavy Unit 051321A, 1st Officer Kalosi'yum, callsign 'Tank', heavy weapons, reporting in." the heavy replied.

"Copy that, plan your entry and move out. The Collective needs help."

The four soldiers sent acknowledgement pings, grabbed equipment from the pod and headed in the direction of the base.
Message to Triarian Collective

"We lack standard soldiers fitted for combat on the surface of a planet with such low gravity like Mars. We can, however, supply recently-developed teams of our Deep Space Insertion Commandos, or DeSpIC, who are efficient in exoatmospheric combat, but are mostly our spacial saboteurs. We will send a task force with them to provide assistance."
Message to Triarian Message

"At this point, we agree. I fear that the Equestrian regime will spiral out of control as its leading body develops into an oligarchy of tyrants. With your naval and technological prowess, and our experienced special forces units and fighting tenacity, we would be able to fight off any impending threat."

CASE STUDY: BELLARAN SWAMP BASILISK
DATE: 03/14/2160 C.C.
DETAILS:

BRD teams have been researching the Bellaran Swamp Basilisk for some time for viability as a biological weapon. For the uninitiated, this reptilian is a carnivorous creature, typically greenish-brown in coloration with blue eyes. It's about 4.5 meters long and weighs in at about 550 kilograms. It has a set of legs that can fold in when swimming, one pair of grasping arms and a smaller pair of feeding arms. It has a few rows of spines along its back that fold when it is not active in hunting. However, what we've noticed about this creature is its jaw. It has very long, knife-like teeth--normally to large to fit in the mouth without causing damage--that fold into special cavities in the roof of its mouth. It also has a small duct in the bottom jaw, and through some...unfortunate incidents, we found out that it sprays some sort of highly corrosive liquid; so corrosive, in fact, that we have not been able to analyze its atomic structure since it severely damages anything it touches. We assume that this allows the basilisk to incapacitate its prey before going in for the kill. Its scaly skin is also incredibly resilient. In can almost entirely resist small arms fire, and it wasn't until one of the heavies stationed with us with a small railgun was able to shoot it in the eye, killing it almost instantly. This deceased specimen was the only way we were able to closely study it.

What fascinates us the most is its hide. When we shot at it with a Type 4 rifle, it created a hole and singed it instantly. We can assume that muscular contractions from the skin can tighten it. Therefore, we concluded that if we cannot use the animal's parts for stronger armor and offense, we can use the animal itself. They're difficult to train, and given their volatile behavior and dangerous defensive and offensive mechanisms, they're difficult to get close to. However, with the right training we could see these as very powerful units on the battlefield, and almost nothing will be able to hold them back.

VIABILITY FOR MILITARY RESEARCH: YES
Above Equiis

The Sazkarjhit came, and they came en masse. An enormous composition of different fleets, with dozen of Marku-Class and hundreds more of other ships, armed to the teeth. But it paled in comparison to the jewel of the fleet. You couldn't miss it, the ship was absolutely gargantuan. At least 30 kilometers long and 18 kilometers wide, with four large engine parts on the sides, and a large assortment of guns--several hundred railguns and ARC cannons--just on the bow of the ship. Protruding from it was a large jutting compartment that tapered at the sides, and in the center was a massive gun, several times larger than any ARC ever built. Farther back was a large tower, where the glass-paned bridge sat at the top. Hundreds of shield ships jetted to the front of the fleet. The Garnalo, named after the first commander of the SCNOSE, was the gem of the entire navy. A town-sized spaceship and a complete tour-de-force in terms of armament; Grand Fleetmaster Magama'yum's flagship.

"This is Grand Fleetmaster Magama'yum with the rest of the Sazkarjhit military cabinet. We are asking for permission to land, please respond."
