Bio

Yes my name is shit, please don't refer to me by it. Just call me Alpha.

I'm mail and my thing is science fiction. If it involves space travel, I've probably looked into it, since that's my big shebang although I am rather fond of cyberpunk and near-future as well. I'm also big on Atompunk, which is essentially taking the nuclear-obsession and Cold War hysteria of the United States from about 1946-1968. Best example of that is the Fallout games (Which, yes, is one of my favorite series of video games).

I'll do other kinds of roleplay but I really like Nation Roleplay, and typically the sci-fi ones since it's fun making new races, tech, etc. As a result I do like me certain empire-building RTS's and 4X games, like Civilization, Rise of Nations, O.R.B., (And maybe Sins of a Solar Empire if I had a better computer ;-;).

Feel free to enjoy what I've written, I don't have much since I do this rather casually.

Message to Lakfakalle Authorities

Good Evening,

The recent assault on Sylve has proved to be unsuccessful. While we were capable of capturing a few higher-ranking officers (Who are currently in custody here in Karboria), Captain "Switch", and anyone else that has high administrative power, was not found at the station, well, not technically. We found who we thought to be him, but it turned out to be a decoy. Once it was discovered that he knew absolutely no useful information on Sylve, he, too, was put into custody. He'll probably make fine target practice for the Karboria Vanguard.

However, the Faction still remains at large. The station was not completely unfruitful and with the information we can extrapolate, hopefully it will be enough to find the real Switch. However, as long as he remains in control, nobody is safe.

I will be ordering a defensive task force to scout around based on information we find, and we will reinforce freight security checkpoints both in your space and our own. The Sazkarjhit will not rest until this menace is quelled.

If you wish, I can temporarily transfer my military cabinet to plan anything involving them. Supreme General Caklos Zanra'kum, Supreme Fleetmaster Daraya Magama'yum, and Supreme Commander Doman Felasi'hum are some of the best military leaders in our empire's history, and they all, too, have a burning hatred for Sylve.

Anyways, if you have found anything out about the organization, please feel free to let me know.

Cordially,
Fakeem-Son-Of-Damwar Suar'kum, Grand Vessel of Zarwaun

Work has begun on Operation WILDCARD to develop an autonomous hunter-killer machine. Below will be a list of specifications, but first the actual construct must be explained.

Operation WILDCARD's purpose is to develop a fighting machine capable of acting on its own while having high intelligence. Our hunter-killer prototype has shown exemplary results, and had we not based it off of a MW-01 Mechanical All-Terrain Fighting Vehicle (MAT-FV) chassis, research and development would have taken much longer. The prototype has an extremely complicated photoreceptor system capable of receiving and perceiving light from all angles within its containment. This also allows the installation of viewscreens and sensor equipment. This makes it so it is capable of identifying friend or foe--even without an ally signal emitter.

The prototype is also very intelligent, and is capable of speech with a well-developed vocabulator that can translate in Galactic Standard and Sazka. This allows the vehicle to also be able to relay information to fleeing civilians, and otherwise identify said civilians. Essentially, with this fighting machine in deployment, we can expect minimum casualties.

The machine has a very impressive arsenal as well. Two high-power gauss cannons mounted on the side, four shoulder-mounted missile launchers (Each carrying five standard Type-11 Personal Anti-Armor Weapon missiles), and three autocannons: two on each side and one mounted on the underside. It is also capable of overloading the hydraulics in its legs to either jump a short distance or stomp with extreme force. Now, as this thing is, as you can see, a robotic death monger, we can privately send a killswitch codeword or a beacon depending on the situation. Not only will this render the machine temporarily inert, but it also purges data regarding mission information as well as machine specs. And if a certain tool is used that doesn't give off the right signal as SDF-licensed tools, packed explosives will detonate, rendering the robot to a nearly unrecognizable state.

This could very well replace the mech program that can be dangerous for our soldiers. We only have a prototype which we plan to show at the Karboria Military Festival next month among other exhibits. We plan to have great success with this machine and hope to find it on the battlefield soon.

Undetermined Location, Sylve Assault

Switch viewed as the station was torn apart, with interior layers showing the Sazkarjhia space commandos and Delphan marines plowing their way through the station.

"They thought I was there? Hah! Fools!" he cackled.

"Sir, you need to keep in mind that we still had higher-ranking officers there. They could use them to get to you." One of his lieutenants standing next to him remarked.

"Bah! I have resilient men in place, and they'll die if they need to to preserve Sylve's integrity."

"A Sazkarjhit surgeon can do things that none of us would fathom possible, Captain."

Captain Switch's triumphant countenance and smile shifted into a frown. He faced the lieutenant. "Even if they find me, even if they do, they'll still have to pull the control of this sector from my cold, dead hands."

The officer retorted. "While I do believe you, sir, that does not mean we should underestimate them. Even if their pride keeps them from using more advanced extraterrestrial technology, that doesn't mean that their allies are the same way. Alongside this, their military has shaped up considerably. While not as effective in space, our base here on the surface of the planet would fall to a ground incursion like a worm would be devoured by a bird. My suggestion is that we establish in a populated area. If they cause many casualties it will be on them; it will cripple their support and damage morale."

"You make it sound like you want an invasion, Lieutenant."

"I was merely sugges-"

"If you want bloodthirsty warriors to hunt you down you can be my guest. Just don't use decent soldiers. I don't care if we're being hunted by the Sazkarjhit, or any other empire for that matter. We are not just a military force, we are a business, and dammit I will stop at nothing to keep this business alive."

"There is nothing discrete about this business, Captain. With determination alone you cannot withstand against an army so willing to fight and to use weapons of mass-destruction-"

"Their outdated fusion weapons can easily be countered. Even a slug fired from their allegedly unstoppable 'doomsday' Delta VIII can be stopped by a high-quality shield. But I suppose you have a point. If they arrive en masse, which they most likely would to eradicate us, it's very quite possible that they will bring more than enough firepower to bring us down. But I run this sector, so if they're going to take down Sylve they'll have to get through me first."

"Does your double know anything about our operations?"

"Not a clue, even if they got him to crack he'd provide no useful information. It won't take them long to find out, though."

"Let's just hope that they don't find out about here, sir."

"Heh...Agreed."
Rigel Station

Three assault fleets had gathered at the point while the Delphan vessel maneuvered around. E-Class Shield ships removed their cloaks from both groups and they moved towards the Sylve outpost.

The defensive cannons lit up brilliantly, sending beams of energized particles and magnetic slugs in every which direction. A line of Trikolo-Class destroyers yawed on their port sides, each one brandishing forty magnetic accelerator cannons. After a short charge cycle they fired in groups of three, creating a wall of nearly three hundred slugs. The first few bounced harmlessly off of reflector shields, but more and more bombarded the station and wore the fields thin. Eventually, they broke through; first bruising the hull and then piercing the walls in certain areas, ejecting chlorinous atmosphere and Sylve personnel.

Hangars began deploying a variety of stolen spaceships which moved in formations and fired missiles, torpedoes and lasers. Explosions and energy rippled across the shield layers of the destroyers but it was all dispersed. They continued firing while a stealth corvette deployed a group of Deep Space Insertion Commandos, who jettisoned from the pod and dodged into various hull breaches on the station.

The acting Fleetmaster of the combined assault group, Fleetmaster Araldi'mum of the Marku-Class PNS Savant of the Gods, sent a message to the Delphans:

Get your marines onto that station and work with the DSpIC's, they know who we're looking for. If you can, capture, but do not kill, any higher-ranking personnel--they could prove useful to us. If you can, use a sneakier approach. Our destroyers will continue to fire to distract them but they could be maintaining a perimeter defense.
Rigel System Scanner Output

The magnetic sensory domes had identified a few voices that sounded familiar, but it took some time for it to be confirmed as Sylve. Several mentions of narcotics transaction and the numerous mentions of Captain "Switch". Two messages were sent from the fleet: One was directed to SCNOSE High Command, and the other to Lakfakalle, stating the following:

We have confirmed that this station is indeed a Sylve outpost. However, whether or not it contains Sylve's leader cannot be confirmed. We have sent coordinates for a Sazkarjhit vantage point and a Lakfakalle Naval vantage point. Once everything can be decided I recommend we simultaneously converge on their position. Whether or not the station is destroyed or capture does not matter, but what does matter is that, if Switch is here, he must be brought alive. He contains very valuable information and if we can extrapolate that information from him it should be more than sufficient information to attack the rest of Sylve. And, for those of Lakfakalle, this may seem unimportant but keep in mind that without Sylve, nothing would be stolen, destroyed, or repossessed. We will more than ten-fold avenge the damage they attempted to cause, and when we are finished the most nefarious pirate organization will be reduced to nothing but rubble and molten slag.
I feel that this RP needs a factor of originality in the apps. Like, don't get me wrong, what people do here is good, but people really should do their own thing. I can't say that I'm completely void from this, as my race does borrow a lot from both the UNSC and the Covenant of Halo lore in terms of things such as their religious zeal (Covenant), use of magnetic heavy weapons (Halo), and so on. However, inducting or using a race from something that already exists I feel does not make it feel so...well...original, for the lack of a better term. I feel that it's better when you develop upon something rather than having the source material laid out for you. Whether you borrow from Warhammer 40k, MLP, Half-Life, Star Wars, whatever. So inducting a race into yours isn't bad, but basically copying and pasting the same thing? It feels almost criminal.

When I created Sazkarjhia, I intended to have something where I could use some source material, but I wasn't completely copying off of something, I'm sure that Hacher, whom I know rather well, might have thought the same. Now you can condemn this or not listen, but I merely think that originality feels more organic to play with rather than taking something that already has a full universe and simply making a carbon copy with edits.
PNS Sovereign of Shadow

The SBCO Covert Observation Fleet maneuvered near the Rigel system and began using telescopes to detect any sort of station. Much to the delight of Fleetmaster Torak Belamar'tum, a military station large enough to garrison several thousand soldiers was detected orbiting the planet Seldis 0491. However, whether or not it belonged to the paramilitary and narcotics smuggling organization known as the Sylve Faction could not be determined to own it. As it was a midway point between many smaller nations, it could belong to one of them. Carried onto the Sovereign of Shadow was a black Rakora-Class assault ship built for stealth. A course was plotted for it to move by the station, and deploy an outfit of six Deep-Space Insertion Commandos to plant listening devices on the exterior.

After Fleetmaster Belamar'dum issued the orders, the ships got to work. The Rakora-Class Spirit of Ascension detached and made headway for the station. Two pods, each carrying three DeSPICs, fired from the underside of the ship. Halfway through they broke apart, and six jet-black space soldiers fired thrusters to a proper trajectory with the station. It was massive, with several sections linked together by tunnels, and it was beyond obvious that it was a military center; each deck of the station had a outer defense of several anti-ship guns as well as missile launchers. Dispensers for what appeared to be flash pods were also attached to each deck. However, the SCNOSE Special Forces soldiers were too small and hardly visible, so they went undetected. Each one carried a couple of magnetic domes, which would blend with the rough contours of the station. Once they got within deploying range, they activated maneuvering jets until they were close enough to affix themselves to different decks. The lead of the operation, Colonel Kardis'dum, pressed in a code on his wrist panel and activated the posts. Within minutes, a full broadcast was being beamed to Spirit of Ascension and relayed to Sovereign of Shadow.
Lakfakalle

"What you present is very good, Admiral Spoor. I will make sure to notify SCNOSE HICOM immediately, I'm sure from there information will be relayed to you. If you need to contact the military for advice, especially for a naval strike, ask for the ranks and names of Supreme Commander Doman Felasi'hum and Supreme Fleetmaster Daraya Magama'yum. I must advise that you make a slow approach, however. Some of the higher Sazkarjhit brass has been known to get jumpy, and Commander Felasi'hum has a reputation for...well...losing her temper."
Lakfakalle

"No matter how advanced or complicated, whatever can make those conniving assholes disappear from the cosmos, Sazkarjhia will be more than happy to assist the effort. I will report the situation to my superiors and I'm certain that we can arrange a mass fleet mobilization to rendezvous with your own assault force. Once our strategy is planned out, we will converge onto the station, destroy it and whatever--and whoever--is on it, although if the Abh reach the base first, we should require one thing: Captain Switch must be brought into Sazkarjhit custody, alive. He's the kingpin of this sector of the universe and if we can find out information on the organization from him, we can find out how to erase the rest of Sylve from existence."

Fleetmaster Hagris'kum shook her hand, then chuckled somewhat at the difference. Where the Abh military official was in formal military dress, the reptilian Sazkarjhit standing before her towered over her by nearly half of a foot, with a uniform that completely reciprocated hers: Dull silver powered armor, with blue and maroon overlapping each other going across her chest and forming an "X", identifying her rank as a Vice Fleetmaster. She flipped a latch that folded down the helmet, showing her dull orange face, with large, black eyes and bands of yellow streaking across her snout, before popping and ingesting an oxygen capsule. Once her breathing turned to Lakfakalle's atmosphere, she began speaking.

"It's nice to meet you, Admiral Spoor. I am Vice Fleetmaster Ramli Hagris'kum, commander of the Sazkarjhia Assault Fleet 091 1st Division Task Force. I apologize for the lengthy title, but that's something I can take to my superiors. Anyways, as I had discussed with one of your military leaders, and as you had mentioned, we are hunting the nefarious Sylve Faction, and we believe we have located their command center near Rigel."
