Bio

Yes my name is shit, please don't refer to me by it. Just call me Alpha.

I'm mail and my thing is science fiction. If it involves space travel, I've probably looked into it, since that's my big shebang although I am rather fond of cyberpunk and near-future as well. I'm also big on Atompunk, which is essentially taking the nuclear-obsession and Cold War hysteria of the United States from about 1946-1968. Best example of that is the Fallout games (Which, yes, is one of my favorite series of video games).

I'll do other kinds of roleplay but I really like Nation Roleplay, and typically the sci-fi ones since it's fun making new races, tech, etc. As a result I do like me certain empire-building RTS's and 4X games, like Civilization, Rise of Nations, O.R.B., (And maybe Sins of a Solar Empire if I had a better computer ;-;).

Feel free to enjoy what I've written, I don't have much since I do this rather casually.

Scuttling
After the Hach recovery crews left, small squads of OGVS units were sent onto the Marku-Class after it was brought into orbit. Any useful tech was stripped; Sazkarjhit technology would be returned to the SCNOSE, and anything else would be contained for study. This included the flash pods, something that had been of Sazkarjhit design but was never put into production.

Seeing how the ship was old, battered, and not worth the time to fix, the Barkola Shipyard (The shipyard responsible for constructing the Marku and Pulsar-Class ships) sent to the Assault Fleet that they agreed to have the ship scuttled. Barasia moved above the ship, angling itself with the planet and raising arms. A volley of 20 magnetic shells rained down upon the Marku. One of them managed to pierce its alloyed hide and reach the reactor, causing the ship to explode in a brilliant fireball and sending hull fragments in all directions. An A-Class shield ship quickly maneuvered in front of Barasia, deflecting any debris that came in its way with a large energy projection field.

After this, the ships returned to tracing radar trails from the Pirates, and warped out of the system.

Research
Oxygen Capsule: Completed ((See latest OOC post)) Capsule causes an extreme physiological change in Sazkarjhians. Changes internal chemistry and allows for them to breathe oxygen. To be used on diplomatic missions and to be given to outersystem vagabonds,
Charge-Down Coilgun: New research project. This optimizes the current coilgun on ships by allowing shots to be loaded and fired while the magnetic field generator is powering down after a shot. Each one will be less powerful than the last, but it still allows a heavy amount of fire. Development: 2%
Sorry for the inactivity. No particular reason just laziness :/

Anyways, is it all right if I saw that the oxygen capsule development I started a few days ago is finished now since it's been a while?
Pirate Ship Recovery

The fleet patiently awaited as the Zonanese marines grabbed and examined what they needed and for them to get out. Plans were set to bring the ship into orbit so they could collect its data, then scuttle it and leave it for scrap. One of their Trikolos, Barasia ("Boomer"), moved into position and locked into geosynchronous orbit with the old Marku-Class down below.
SAF 004 Mobilization

Sazkarjhia Assault Fleet 004 came out of warp near the scene of the Pirate-Hach assault. A small group of six destroyers and eight frigates attempted to lead the trail of the pirates, while the remainder of the fleet stayed in the area and remained on guard for any incoming hostiles.
Sazkarjhia Archaeological Registry Index File No. 1032: The Moguhls

9.21.2130

One of the few groups with different religions tolerated in Zarwaunist Sazkarjhia, the Moghuls are a small group of people nestled high in the Darab Mountain Range in the Daraban Region. They practice a religion, more so structured as a set of governmental and family practices rather than religious devotion, known as Galdoskialism, named after the man who originally developed the ideals; Serusis Galdosk'mum. The Moghuls live in a series of small villages and practice older, although somewhat modernized customs. As a result, they're considered the "Orientals" of Sazkarjhia, and are one of the few groups not persecuted by Zarwaunists due to their strong defense of the ideals.

Most notable about this clan, the Mumaso (Unique to here, as others like Tumallani and Kumador are specific to different regions, e.g. Dumark is indigenous to Daraban), is that each family's heirloom is a blade. They very between families but each one has the firstborn carry and use a sword that their ancestors forged in the past. They are considered skillful with this for melee combat and thus prefer it over ranged weaponry. Why this is stated is because several members of the Mumaso clan serve in the Peoples' Military. Many of them are lower down the chain of command, but the 8th Brigade, 3rd Battalion commander--Captain Aramas Baltoko'mum--is one of the highest, who uses a long, single-edged sword forged from steel with a long grip. It is also known that many of the Mumaso clan are also vagabond Sazkarjhians, or Pirates.

Why they use the demonym "Moguhl" is still largely unknown. We believe it may pertain to the Mogus Cave System, and they adopted the name as the first village has been known to be established there. Overall, the Moguhls are mysterious, and even those serving among the Sazkarjhian soldiers do not testify many of their origins. Perhaps it is for this reason that so little is known about their culture. That, and normal Sazkarjhians are not permitted to enter their territory. More research is being done, but until then we know very little else.

Research and Development

The Sazkarjhia Defense Firm has taken upon themselves to begin development on an oxygen capsule. Chemicals inside of it quickly travel through a Sazkarjhian's bloodstream, causing a physiological change where their body respires through oxygen, rather than chlorine. It will take some time, but now that Sazkarjhit are to travel out, and to help with vagabonds struggling to maintain with the same air as other species, it is being done for public, rather than military use, although it may see some action on the battlefield in urban situations.

Hach Message

Fine. Get your men, get the ship, then give it to us when the fleet arrives. I will just let you know that Fleetmaster Derbas'tum, who commands SAF 004, has a hair trigger. Once she gets her sights on something it's sending in those destroyers to destroy everything they see. So once they come i recommend you try to get out of there. Fast.
Hach Message

A much deeper, harsher voice spoke over the comm, different from the Grand Vessel's.

"This is Supreme Commander Barasmus Lano'dum, commanding the operation we are carrying out. And don't you dare take a single thing from any of those ships! They may be different from us politically, economically, socially, whatever. Sazkarjhians are Sazkarjhians, and we demand that you do not take any piece of technology from the ships. Sazkarjhia Assault Fleet 004 is en route to the scene of action. We will handle things, just get your men in there, do what you can, and get out. These pirates are technically under our jurisdiction according to intergalactic race laws, and thus we will take military action if any of your soldiers are reported taking Sazkarjhit technology from those ships. We do not use technology from other races, so we would rather not let any fall into anyone else's hands. Commander Lano'dum, out."
Hach Assault

The black hole was deactivated as the Zonanese ships left the site. On the channel, the Captain cackled menacingly.

"BAHAHAHA! You think that was enough? To get your pathetic ships out of the area? Trust me, filthy dogs, we will find where all of you live, and that black hole will be dropped into your planet. Everything you know, everything you love, will be consumed! Ripped apart! DESTROYED!"

The message died, and quickly a new one came up, this one originating from Sazkarjhia.

"This is Grand Vessel Suar'kum of Sazkarjhia. Put me on a line with your leader. We need to talk about those pirates, because whatever they may be doing, it could be potentially devastating."
Pirate Attack on Hach Fleet

Vessel Suar'kum and Commander Lano'dum strode through the massive corridors of the Karboria Capital District rotunda area, with its sophisticated and ornate architecture displaying etchings of previous Grand Vessels, as well as the gods. Fakeem spoke with Lano'dum, nonchalantly sipping tea from a vessel in his hands, when a civilian carrying a digital clipboard rushed up to them.

"S-Supreme...Supreme Commander..." the man wheezed. "...You need to...look at this..."

Barasmus patted the man on the back, taking the clipboard and reading through what it displayed.

COSMIC ANOMALY DETECTED

3.10.2168
09:21:12 SAZKARJHIA LOCAL TIME

Enormous energy signatures detected. Gravity strength exceeding overall field of the UP18153 System. Anomaly determined to be a black hole. Determined to be the site of a confrontation between ZONANESE SPECIES, DOMI and UNIDENTIFIED ASSAULT GROUP, TECHNOLOGY OF SAZKARJHIT ORIGIN. Communications determine that fleet with TECHNOLOGY OF SAZKARJHIT ORIGIN, is in fact not belonging to any arms of SAZKARJHIA CENTER FOR NAVAL OPERATIONS AND SPACE EXPLORATION.

Barasmus stopped in his tracks, his jaw dropped. "Grand Vessel, I would love to talk more, but I must meet with my cabinet." he told Fakeem before running off.

He came into an office, with several star charts, some showing systems belonging to other species, while a few others showed the locations of the three Hub Fleets as well as the remaining Outersystem Scout Fleets returning to Sazkarjhia from their missions. In here, the Peoples' Army commander, Grand Commander Felasi'hum, and the SCNOSE commander, Grand Fleetmaster Magama'yum, were standing in the center, occasionally nodding off orders to officers below. Once they noticed Commander Lano'dum, they strode over.

"I thought you were on leave today, what's wrong?" Felasi'hum inquired. Barasmus nearly shoved the clipboard into her, where she took it and scanned through it. She turned to face the old, war-hardened commander, then gave it to Magama'yum, who had a similar expression. He turned and began hastily shouting, "Order Assault Fleet 004 to the epicenter of the action, make sure that any Sazkarjhian technology you find, you confiscate it back from them."

"Back from them, Fleetmaster?" Lano'dum asked with disbelief.

"Sir, we would never attack the Domi after ten years, and I would never give the order for any kind of clandestine operation. This technology was obviously stolen and repurposed. And we haven't even come close to developing a black hole generator. Only one who didn't have pride in their people and borrowed tech from other races to develop would do such a thing."

"You don't mean..." Felasi'hum whispered.

"Yes. The Domi are under attack by Pirates."

The order was given for Sazkarjhia Assault Fleet 004 to mobilize to the epicenter of the action, and to remove any kind of technology that the pirates had acquired. As well as to repair and otherwise assist the Domi under attack by them.
Hach Attack

Recovery Fleet Beta shifted as the largest ship, the lead of the fleet, a stolen Marku-Class Cruiser, moved forward. It deployed a small capsule, that fired rockets and jetted into the middle of the fleet, all the while ships dodged the inbound ships.

The pod detonated, and a swirling mass of black chaos expanded rapidly, ships began being pulled to its epicenter. A crackle of a message came through, from a deep, croaking, sinister voice.

"This is Captain Dorkat Bemana'kum, and what we just launched was an experimental black hole generator, under development for several years. We did not wish to waste it, but you left us with no choice. However, the device does have a killswitch, and if you leave this system we will be more than happy to deactivate it, if not...well...heh... Anyways, I'd say you have about six-or-so minutes to act before your fleet is completely consumed. And considering you dog freaks thought it'd be a good idea to call us a bunch of 'fucking lizards'...well, I'd say you need a decent amount of convincing for me. Good luck."
