Name : Elijah Sebrill

Age : 28

Profession/Vocation : Librarian

Affiliation : Kingstone Royal Library

Skills : Organisation and administration, Book-keeping and filing

Traits : Cynical, Socially inept, Bookworm, Witty, Intelligent, Persuasive

Personality/Biography : Elijah is slow to make friends or trust anyone. He is a sociopath, preferring to be alone than out socialising, though with the few, if any, friends he has he can trustworthy and straightforward. He is excellent at his job, filing and lending books from the vast archives of the Royal Library situated just off Abercrose Square. In spite of his adept performance, he still draws only a meagre wage, and lives in a small, almost Spartan apartment on the verge of the Abercrose district and the Old Commons. He has few, if any friends, staying in the library long after hours. He was born into a family of the small but expanding middle class, his father a railway engineer and his mother a teacher. When he was 16, his father died in an industrial accident- his mother soon to follow him. She had lost the will to live. He was forced to leave school and find work, being engaged in a number of temporary occupations before being accepted as an apprentice librarian due to his natural intellect. Because of his incessant love of reading, he is quite knowledgeable on a vast variety of topics, expressing his views frankly when queried about them. How such a lowly character will be engaged in the critical coming years is as of yet undetermined.

Appearance : He has tightly cropped dark brown hair combed to one side, and a pair of deep, wary, piercing green eyes. His skin is pale due both to the smog of the Old Commons and the seclusion of the library. He is slightly above average height, and of a slim build.

(I hope my character is up to par. If not, I would be happy to make the necessary adjustments.)
Not as enthusiastic as I was. I think I'll leave this one as well. Sorry (don't hold it against me).
Anyways, I'm putting all my effort into August Tier's Land of the Free.
Matthew rode down the almost empty street, shivering with the bitter cold of the dawn. This was two days after a mysterious encrypted and anonymous message manifested itself in his inbox. Decrypting it and perusing the contents was short work for him- but what struck him were the implications. Evidently his reputation preceded him, and an as of yet unknown criminal organisation was attempting to put him under their employ. He would have preferred to stay freelance, deciding himself on his tasks, and carrying them out at his leisure. But times were getting harder. Freelance jobs were scarce, and he could barely pay the bills, let alone keep his equipment running and his ride fuelled.

As the wheels span at an ever increasing pace, leaves and scraps of paper were kicked up and billowed in the wind. Passing only a few huddled in corners or peering at him from behind blinds, he paid no heed to others. At last, rounding a sharp corner into an even tighter alley, he came across piles of rubbish, crates- and a solitary, almost out of place telephone booth. Though the surroundings were suspicious to say the least, his intuition told him that it was safe. Relatively. Dismounting from his bike with a quick glance to ensure that there was no one around, he calmly strode over to the phone. As soon as he entered the booth and closed the door behind him, the familiar shrill tone began to sound. Lifting the headpiece from the board, a surprisingly crisp and clear man's voice sounded out from the phone. 'Warehouse 67. Bring no one.' Then it was abruptly cut off. Filled with apprehension, Matt left the payphone, walked with a steady gait back to his bike, and mounted up. Now- to meet his imminent fate, whatever it may be.
In a spoiler box as requested.

Are you still looking for more characters? Or is it too late now? Because this seems like a really promising RP.
I'm putting this up to see if there's any interest for a Skulduggery Pleasant-based RP. It would be set around the events of the first book. Only requirement for entry is if you've read at least one of the original three books. Planning to possibly restrict it to Dublin?

Or I may find, to my dismay, that the series is completely unknown outside the UK/ROI. Any way, I'm currently preoccupied with Amestris' Divus Essentia RP. I'm not the most knowledgeable person on the series, but if any one else is a fan and knows more than I do, then would anyone be willing to GM/co-GM such a proposed RP?

Just testing the water.
I think I'd rather put all my creative effort on one character's development, than be micromanaging two.
Looks interesting- currently I'm mostly occupied with Amestris' Divus Essentia RP.
I would like to see a space-based version of that hardcore naval RP- *forgotten name*
Will check back to see if this leads anywhere.
Name : Adam Osborne

Age : 16

Gender : Male

Code Name : Tesseract

Appearance : Above average height at 5'8" but not overwhelmingly tall, short dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. He was pale even before the experimentation, so there wasn't that much of a change. He has a slim build, with long limbs and slender fingers. He habitually wears either a plain maroon, black or white shirt, accompanied by plain grey many-pocketed trousers or jeans. He also wears shabby trainers and an ancient digital watch. When it is particularly cold, a turquoise coat is his garment of choice. He uses his TI only in cases of absolute necessity. Doesn't have a special 'superhero costume', but when wishing to partake in a mission incognito, will pull up his coat's hood, wearing a black bandana around the lower half of his face and gloves.

Personality: Adam is cynical and mistrusting of both authority and society in general. He is antisocial and would prefer to be alone than at a gathering or out socialising. Every few weeks, he experiences short, but intense experiences of severe depression. Has moderate psychopathic tendencies (feeling little revulsion to otherwise horrific acts) and is a schizotypal, feeling little attachment to others. He is however extremely intelligent and analytical, knowledgeable especially in politics, general knowledge, computer science and programming. He can be extremely argumentative and is very opinionated. He also thinks of suicide a bit more often than is normal. He is very straightforward and trustworthy with the few, if any friends, he has. When he wants to, he has a witty sense of humour.

Bio : He was born into a privileged family, his father on the board of governors of a regional bank. He was always a social outcast, resenting his peers and arguing with teachers. He had outspoken political beliefs, but was always a loner and spent most of his days hiding behind a computer under the alias Tesseract, or in the library. Some teachers loved him for his great intellect, but most hated him for his terrible work ethic and rebellious nature. He found various ways to circumvent and hack into the network of his school, and was put in serious trouble after repeated underage drinking and hacking incidents. He was just about to embark on 5 A levels: politics, economics, philosophy, history, and computer science.

Power : Telepathy

- Can read other's minds provided they are within field of vision.
- Can communicate with others telepathically, but they cannot communicate back unless they have the power as well.
- Can cloud other's minds, producing hallucinations or putting them in mental anguish.

Power : Limited Pyrokinesis

- Can produce a spark from his fingers, setting alight what he touches.

Weapons : Whatever he can get his hands on. He has no formal combat training, unfortunately.
I'm really interested in the idea of supernaturals in dystopia. Very clichéd, but how about traditional psychic mind-reading? Maybe even weak telepathy?
