Lady AryaPlaying catch up sucks, so I apologize about my post. Here's what I'm planning:
We get access to the car, but we won't make it beyond a few blocks before being traffic jammed and we have to walk on foot. There will be a Walker stampede and we have to beat a hasty retreat, taking refuge in Modells Sporting Goods Store. That way we can have interactions and such.

Just a few steps more to the cafe, but James realized the noise he heard mere moments ago was a struggling walker on the ground. When he heard the voice, he spun around and got on one knee, aiming his handgun at a young woman. "No, are you?" He asked, prepared to fire his weapon.
Another noise, this time in his blindspot in the dark. He had enough ammo if it were another of those beasts, but he kept his attention on the woman.
"What the fuck is happening?" The woman asked, but this question seemed directed to the darkness, so she must've had a better vantage point of who it was.
"Dead is rising is what's happening," the body beyond the darkness explained, and it seemed to make sense in James' eyes, what with the prostitute once being dead.
Then a black fella came walking up, and James quickly aimed his weapon at him, before going back and forth between everyone else. Then they started talking about a car and a radio and one of them brought up the Lockdown thing.
"So you've seen it too?" He asked and started to follow them outside, but still in a wary state of mind.

Several announcements:
1) if Kaitlyn doesn't post by the end of the day I'll move the story along
2) may I ask why everybody's characters are cussing so much?
3) the LOCKDOWN countdown is how long we have until the military blows up any way onto the Island and then fire bombs it, so we have about 4 days to reach the Brooklyn Bridge
4) Our first "Anti"-Villain is General Elbert, a man was several platoons of soldiers under his command and the leader of an unofficial safe zone that is operated by the ideals of communism (everybody gets the same rations, style of housing, ect). He's a villain because of how he treats crime in the zone, which for now will be left to the imagination.

Tony Stark- in this universe he has the world believe he's dead, and he operates as Iron Man, hacking his company when he needs resources.
Jamie Madrox/Multiple Man- either the original or one of the clones, he has an identity crisis and is a very moody person, but masks it with an upbeat attitude
