Might be a few days before I can reply to everyone, I apologize. Moving 250 miles for an internship this weekend and I start tomorrow, but I'll get to everyone ASAP!

Why must autocorrect ruin things in a way that is not even correct?

Yeah good point. Like I said, shitty post at 2am, I was half asleep xP
Posted, it's kind of shitty. I apologize. Not much to advance until the BDs and BS are done fighting it out or until Val decides to swoop in and chain one as his pet
Samuel looked at Mason as he presented the first aid kit and nodded. "Ah, very good. Now, pop me a few aspirin, would ya?" He knew that his shaky hands would be unable to open up the bottle of pain relievers, so he opted for reaching towards yet another syringe that lay in the kit. It was filled with a red liquid that seemed thick and goopy. He fumbled with it before jabbing it into his thigh and slowly, painfully pressing the plunger. After he finished, he removed the needle from his flesh and took the pills that had been dosed out for him. "Thanks bud." Soon enough, the liquid spread to his heart, where it was quickly distributed throughout his body. A rush of energy took over him, and he remained sitting to ride out the high.

Kennedy's scouring of the office brought several concerns to her attention. All of the pictures on the wall portrayed men, women, and children of all sorts. But... they were different than Kennedy and her little group of rebels. They dressed strange, more revealing and tight-fitting clothes. She looked down at her own attire, a green skirt with a cream colored blouse. Her lips pressed together to a thin line and she wondered if the way they appeared would be a problem here in... wherever they were. On the ground, a crumpled newspaper sat in a pile of other papers. Kennedy picked it up, reading the name: "The Rapture Tribune", and the date that read November 19th, 1958. She dropped the paper and her hand jumped to cover her mouth as a gasp escaped it.

Samuel noticed as Kennedy discovered where they were and what time they were in. He grit his teeth together and stood, walking over to her. "Calm down, girly." Just as he was about to open his mouth to say more, the sound of a drill revving and metal clashing interrupted him. "Ah, balls." He sighed and limped over to the door, peering out into the hallway. He looked back at the others and motioned for them to follow, "For the love of God, whatever you do, don't shoot. Ya hear? They might look frightenin', but if you leave them alone, they'll leave you alone." He hobbled down the hallway, Kennedy behind him with her hand on her gun at her waist.

She bit her lip and controlled her emotions, even though she had come to realize they had traveled in time... Soon, they rounded a corner and looked out to a more open area. At the other end of the room, two large robots and a smaller looking figure in scuba gear. Sam put a finger over his lips and led them across the room quietly and up a set of stairs so that they could watch the fight from a safe distance. He whispered to them, "See the big lugs? Those are big daddies." He looked until he spotted the little sister not far from her BD. "See the little one? He protects her. Whatever you do, don't threaten her." The big sister then proceeded to screech, causing Sam and Kennedy to both cover their ears until it ceased. Same looked up in confusion... "That one... I don't know what the hell that is. C'mon, let's get somewhere more safe while they duke it out." Reluctantly, Kennedy followed Sam, seeing as he was her only hope for a sense of direction in this place.

Dodging into an office, they stumbled upon Val and Thomas in his splicer body, though Sam immediately pointed to the splicer and his eyes grew wide. "What the hell! Why haven't you ganked that one yet?" He took a step back, but Kennedy saw Valentin and grinned. "Son of a bitch, you aren't dead yet? Impressive sir." She stepped over to look out the window, observing the BDs as they fought with the big sister and each other. It all intrigued her, but also worried her. Being in such a strange place with no sense of direction or knowledge. "Looks like we have to be more careful around here, boys. Those things look as nasty as the Handymen back home."
Don't worry about the character goof Dereken, we've pretty much altered everything to fit the roleplay anyways.

Anywhoo, I will give BrodZ one more day to post a reply before I post mine. Had a little internet problem this weekend, so after class tomorrow I will write one up. Thanks everyone for being patient!
I'll message BrodZ and Kafka today. I am without a computer until this evening so no post from me until at least then. There's a line of trying to balance waiting on people and moving forward so the others don't get bored and scram. I'm determined to keep this one alive this time o.o
Mildly interested, interested in talking it out!
Well I'm sure the BS shriek is sure to stir our Knights, maybe Val can join the party too and chain one of the BD's to his wrist before the Sister knocks em out xD

I'll get a post up tomorrow and we can keep this steam train a'rollin.
BUMPY BUMP
See ya Konami, thanks for being with us even if it was for a short time. I sincerely hope your situation improves, and best of luck to you.
Kennedy stood quietly as her brain worked a million miles a minute to process the fact that they were no longer in Columbia. If we aren't in Columbia... she shook her head, which had begun to hurt after the rush of information that had just flown into it. Samuel stood in one corner of the elevator, leaning against the wall for support. His body was still weak from weeks of undernourishment, and the recent blast of events took even more out of him.

Kennedy eyed Val as the elevator stopped with each floor on its way up. He simply grinned at her and the others and rushed out onto one of the floors, leaving the rest of them to finish the journey up. Kennedy sighed, "Let's hope he doesn't get shot..." She looked up at the list of floors to see that they were almost to the top. She turned back to Sam, eyeing the elevator doors. "So, what happens when we get to the top? More guards?"

Sam swallowed hard and looked at her. "Hopefully no guards, though we may run into a splicer or two. Potentially a BD." Kennedy's eyes narrowed and he sighed again, "BD's are giant protectors of Little Sisters. They won't hurt you unless you hurt the girl. So just keep your paws off and you'll be fine." The elevator dinged at the last floor, and the doors opened up to an empty hallway with several doors on either side. A sign handing from the ceiling at the end of the hall read 'Medical Pavillion.'

Kennedy stepped off the elevator, her hand resting on her Hand Cannon and caution in her step. Samuel walked out behind her, but his vision started to turn black, and soon he collapsed. "Shit..." Kennedy picked him up off of the ground and looked back down the hall. One of the doors was propped open, so she nudged open the door with her foot to reveal an empty office. It looked like it had been empty for a while, dust collected on the shelves and desk that occupied the room. Kennedy sat Samuel down and looked back to the few guys who had made it up the elevator with her. "Mind taking a look around? We need to wake this guy up, he's kinda our tour guide for the moment."

She opened up the drawers to help, found a syringe with a blue liquid in it that read 'Eve' on it, and raised an eyebrow. "What the hell?" She looked back to Samuel, who was unconscious still. "Hopefully this doesn't kill him..." She walked over and stuck the needle in his arm, pressing the plunger down until all the mysterious liquid was gone. For several moments, nothing happened. His breathing remained normal and heart rate did not increase or slow down. "Well, I guess that didn't work."

Kennedy turned her attention back to finding something to help, when she heard Samuel cough. She grinned, turning to see him opening his eyes groggily. "Good morning sunshine, I suggest you refrain from doing that again. No idea what I put in ya but it seemed to have given you some energy." Samuel looked next to him to see the syringe, and he chuckled. "Eve? That won't help me much other than give me a rush. Can't any of you find a medical kit?" Kennedy looked at him with a blank expression as she turned to continue her search.
