Might be a few days before I can reply to everyone, I apologize. Moving 250 miles for an internship this weekend and I start tomorrow, but I'll get to everyone ASAP!

Why must autocorrect ruin things in a way that is not even correct?

Well I guess that depends on how it is intended to go down, such as a good way or a bad way. If good, as in just a glimpse of it, could be in the form of a "magic" show but with freakier stuff. Bad could be affecting other acts so that she controls their outcome or something like that. Not sure the direction you want to take with it though.
Hahaha, yeah... well I plan on losing a team member on my next post. Still deciding which one but I'll leave it a surprise. How do we want the other two to get taken? I don't really have any ideas other than either spirits come out of the "thing" and overwhelm them or they get taken over by the goo. If we want to get past the goo though, they could be taken by other spirits away from that site.
When and how do you plan on integrating the supernatural/freaky stuff? I figured it would occur during or around the show based on the chanting already witnessed, but I was just wondering.
It was a long practice for Eli and Kate, but they both had to be perfect if each of them wanted to limit the number of stab wounds on their bodies. As the hours passed, they moved from weapon to weapon and act to act, planning out the night's show so that it went off without a hitch. Eventually, it was time to practice the spin board: a giant round piece of wood that rotated on a pole, and on it was a silhouette of a human body, about the size of Elijah. "Alright now remember, tonight that'll be me in the flesh... try not to kill me, yeah?" Eli walked up to the board and gave it a tug, sending it spinning around in circles, the target dancing around in rotation. Kate drew in a deep breath and closed her eyes for a moment, and then opened them. She sent out three knives, one after the other in steady rhythm, and listened as they each hit the board milliseconds after the one before. Eli stopped the spin board and grinned, "Very well done, Kate. Try to replicate that tonight." He looked up at the sky and then around, noticing it was lunchtime as people were moseying about with their food. "Well, I've got animals to feed before I find my own meal. Don't have too much fun without me." He waved as he walked off and Kathryn was left alone to clean up from practice and find herself supper. She had just finished putting away her blades when Claire strolled up, chipper as ever. She opened up her arms wide and grinned, "Well, why not both? At least you smell better this time." She gave a quick wink and a chuckle along with it before embracing her friend. "Now, what shall we eat? I do believe I have some more apples in my wagon if this animal you speak of has developed such a craving." She laughed but finished putting away her blades and then dusted off her hands. "How about we head to the commons tent and see what they've got cooked up? Might be something worth while since we are in London after all. It at least has to be better than that rubbish we got during the Dublin show." She patted her friend on the back and began walking towards a large white tent that sat to the east of the main camp. Within meters of the tent, the smell of food could be smelt as the aroma drifted out the doors and into the open air. "See, it already smells better." Kate grinned and walked inside, looking over to a line of tables where cooks had arranged the day's meal. Nothing fancy, but a sufficient amount of lamb and roast summed up the protein, while potatoes, cheese, and bread rounded out the rest. Kathryn grabbed a plate and filled it with meat and bread, staving from potatoes due to the aforementioned Irish tour, where potatoes were in every meal of every day. She waited for Claire and then exited the tent to find them a nice place to sit, finding a sunny, grassy area on a small hill that overlooked part of the circus camp. "Well, Queen Feline," She took a bite of lamb, "how are your creatures today? Should I expect an excellent show, as always?"
Posted, I can edit it if that's not alright. Just lemme know.
Kasai had turned towards the other group after Ryuu had scorched a patch of goop that had somehow made its way towards Barron. She opened her mouth to thank the man, but before she could get the words out, a hand came flying out of nowhere and smacked right onto her chest. Her eyes grew wide and her jaw dropped as she realized that Avani's hand was planted firmly between her breasts. "WHAT IN THE SPIRIT'S NAME IS YOUR PROBLEM." Kasai returned the effort to remove her hand by moving backwards as Avani pulled the other direction. Much to her horror, a loud ripping sound resonated in her ears and she looked down to see the top half of her coat was now glued to Avani's hand along with the goo. Kasai's face grew red and the fire inside of her headed her face to a point where it seemed as thought she could shoot laser beams from her pupils. The only thing now that could be seen was Kasai's black sports bra and her upper abdomen. She had only worn the bandeau style bra because of the warm summer air outside, and as a woman of the police, she knew that taking off the coat would not be an option during the mission. Kieron and Barron both looked on in shock, preparing for the embarrassment to cause their boss to implode and release the fire held within. Kasai didn't have the time to wring Avani's neck because she was busy trying to remove the substance from her entire arm now. And while Kasai was thoroughly embarrassed, she wasn't without reason. Instead, she waited until she was done so that she could drag her back a safe distance and then proceed to kill her, but her face turned from awkward shame to concern as Avani cried out and pulled up her arm to reveal it, scarred and bloody. "What in the...?" She didn't have time to question it any further, because out of nowhere barbs and spurs of black goo shot at the entire group. Kasai had to do a flip just to avoid a tentacle that flew directly at her, but in the air, it latched onto her foot and she cried out. She quickly drew in a breath and then shot white hot flames out of her foot, causing the limb of liquid to retreat. Regaining her feet, she quickly began to shoot off shots at the incoming webs, but the number was growing exponentially. "We can't handle this much, we need to move back!" Barron spat as he tried desperately to freeze the stuff in its tracks as it came after them. Kasai could hear Avani and Ryuu arguing a few feet away, and at Avani's last remark, she turned towards her after sending a wall of fire at the black tar. "What?! Listen here, don't count on-" She was cut off, the energy draining from her voice as the other firebender was impaled by a spear of black energy. Kasai could see that Avani was stuck in shock, and from the corner of her eye she saw more of them coming in hot. Kasai grit her teeth and jumped towards Avani, shooting fire from her feet to propel her forwards. She got to her at the last second and grabbed her, both of them falling to the ground. Before Kasai hit the ground, the goo hit her same foot again, and this time when she got it back, her boot was missing and her foot was visibly torn. She grunted and stood up, grabbing Avani and getting her to her feet also. "We all need to move back, now!" she shouted over the sounds of combat.
I agree, maybe something could happen during the show that causes her to realize she needs to pursue it (kind of like "you only live once") or maybe when the supernatural events begin something similar happens. I'll work on posts now for each RP :P
Oh yeah sure, that's not a problem at all. Two completely different characters, this one is capable of stirring up some romance while the other... eh not so much. Yet, at least. But yes, I can take on that responsibility this time, no worries. It might be a little early on but if you take into consideration that they've been friends for many years it wouldn't be out of the question. Let's just see where the plot goes for now and see if we can wiggle it in there, at least some flirting, nonetheless.
Yeah I like that idea, slow the slaughter xD I think that'll work out just fine
It could be part of it, I figured the whole thing in general might start spitting out dark spirits, combined with the slimy stuff taking over some people or at least getting them stuck like a tar pit would. As far as who the hero is and who the victim is does not matter to me, but I can also see how it might be more appropriate if Avani is the one, given prior situations and such. Do we want thing fight to result in no survivors other than Avani and Kasai or do we want to leave at least one or two stragglers? Personally I think no other survivors offers more for the 1x1 character development (having no one else to blame/no one else who experienced the same thing/savior-saved complex), while on the other hand one companion could also provide "background noise" after the fact. However, I would choose the former.
