Antipiracy is fun since you get to capture them, clothe them, feed them, find no evidence of piracy (since they dump weapons overboard to destroy evidence for persecution ), and let them off with a warning. And then you use your VBSS team to give toothpaste to dhow captains.

Typically what I like to do is put down the basic stuff. Name and bio at the very minimum. I don't like wasting time with all of the little tabs for specific things like likes, dislikes, etc. I like to have those explored and developed during the course of the story rather than simply jotting down "Sammy doesn't like snakes on his plane" in a "fears" category. Same thing with something like "style of speech." You can very well explore that by writing out the dialogue in that fashion and get the same results. Same level of characterization, but it's more subtle and comes over time.
