A half hour came and went, and Autumn disappeared into the back with several bottles. Another half hour later, at the time Autumn said she was off, a mare said from behind the unicorn in a rather familiar voice asked in a sultry tone, “so, you want to start the dance on the floor, or just jump straight to the horizontal?” Should she turn, Ley would find Autumn just behind her, the taller statuesque earther smirking at the unicorn in a rather wicked manner.

Autumn giggled, winking at Ley. “Give it an hour,” she said flirtatiously, going over to mix up Ley’s drink. It didn’t take more than a moment, with the earther’s expert hooves quickly mixing and pouring the drink, before she gave it over to Ley. “One vodka martini,” she said, sliding it over with a flirty smile.

Sky Runner pranced inside, and shot Quartz a look of want. They proceeded to dance the rest of the night away behind closed doors…

Autumn was currently mixing a drink a ways down the bar, but on seeing Ley Lines back, she sent winked over at the unicorn. After she finished with the customer that had her current attention, she made her way back over to Ley. “Oh, after you went off with that cutie earlier, I thought I’d have to wait until tomorrow,” Autumn said flirtily. “Anything you’re wanting now that you’re back?”

“Yours,” Sky requested with a grin, winking, chuckling as he danced back a bit, just enough to run his eyes over Quartz, before dancing back in close. “I’d love to get a feel for those muscles. Eye candy like that should be properly appreciated in a more private place, no?” he asked as if it were the most obvious thing in the world, his grin widening.

When Ley made it back to the bar, it had more ponies in it than before, and plenty of dancing mares and stallions filled the floor. It was a riot of colours. Even the academics knew how to have fun in Equestria sometimes.

Sky grinned. “Confident, are we?” he asked teasingly, even as he used a quick dance move to dart in and steal a kiss from the other stallion. “Though I guess you have every reason to be,” he added impishly.

And then they banged. It was kinky.

“To have fun,” Sky answered impishly. “And maybe if I’m lucky, find a nice pony to have fun with for the rest of the night.” He grabbed his drink once the bartender put it down for them, and went off to serve some others. “Your own plans?” he asked, pushing Quartz’s drink over to him.

Spring Fireworks began to skip towards the entrance to the bar, flicking her tail up so it teasingly brushed Ley on the muzzle. She led the mare to the second floor, to room 253, towards the end. She tossed a hungry look over her shoulder at Ley Lines as she led the way inside…

Once they were over at the bar, Sky waved down a bartender. “One rum and coke, and whatever this hotty wants,” Sky immediately requested, grinning as he gestured to Quartz. The bartender nodded, looking over towards Quartz to get his drink order.

The mare giggled, a light blush coming across her cheeks. “Spring Fireworks, and I think you’ll find them going off from the pleasure I’ll be giving you,” she countered, a quiet, wicked tone to her voice. “You want to come back to my room?” she asked, eyes sparkling.

Sky laughed as the kiss broke, him having taken part with gusto. His eyes lit up in as a full out grin split his face. “Oh wow, you’re forward,” he said, laughing. “Can I buy you a drink?” he asked with an over-blown ‘smooth guy’ voice, done in such a way that it was meant to elicit a laugh.

The mare laughed at Ley’s line. “Well, I don’t even know your name yet, but yes, yes I would love to help you improve it,” she answered Ley with a grin. The grin was mostly mirth, though with a definite undercurrent of something a little more heated…

“Oh, a bigwig, then,” Sky said with a grin. “And a guard? Well, that must be fun. You get to stay at a place like this and get paid to do it.” He chuckled, grinning at the peck. “Well, it should certainly be fun. You get to deal with quirky, crazy mages for two weeks, while I just deal with my peers,” Sky joked with a large smile.

“So you have your pick-ups down to a science?” the mare asked in amusement. “You know, I really should have expected that, considering the ponies currently here.” She quirked another half-smile at that. “I suppose you know what your success rate is as well, then,” she added, raising an eyebrow.

Sky continued to dance along with the earther, having quite a bit of fun with Quartz. “Well, I’m the assistant to Ley Lines, one of the unicorns presenting here,” he told Quartz. “And what about you?” Sky asked interestedly, slipping out of the embrace to spin Quartz around before bringing him back in close.

“Oh, I’m not throwing away my chances,” the mare said, the pout turning into something slightly teasing. Her coat was an ivory hue while her mane was a riot of colours in no particular pattern. She was a little larger than most mares, and was rather curvy, with soft eyes, and a small half smile on her face. “I’m just saying I wish I had that kind of luck and skill with my attempts to pick ponies up.”

Sky laughed at the boop, and nodded at Quartz’s words. “Neither can I,” he said. While some of the presentations he knew would be drier than a True Believer Seminary, overall, he’d found shows and conferences of a similar nature to be great. Fun and informative. He was really looking forward to this.
