Fractions: A New Age

She ripped up the drawing and tossed it away with the rest of her untouched food, maybe sleep would do her good. She got up and walked towards the lounge area before the piano caught her eye. She paused and looked around nonchalantly before sneaking over to the piano, maybe she could play just for a little and no one will notice. She bit her lip and smiled, running her fingers over the keys. She took a deep breath and sat down, her fingers began to work quickly, her body swayed while her hair floated gently against her back.

Nyx back straightened as she tried not to make any sour faces while watching the two's intimate conversation. She lost her appetite for a life or death conversation and decided to excuse herself and made her way towards the dining. Luckily she still had her appetite for food, and it had ended up being early in the morning, which meant she hadn't slept in.... two days? She yawned but trudged on, making her way in to the dining area where people mingled. She wanted to engage but she wasn't really good at starting a conversation. Her long rosa colored hair was draped around her shoulders messily, but she had no energy to fix it. She ordered french toast, bacon and a coffee before sitting herself at an empty table. She didn't really like being alone with her thoughts. She pulled her bag off her shoulder and opened it up pulling out a sketch book along with a sharpen pencil. She began to doodle exquisite flames that stretched up to her sky that was dazzled with overgrown flowers whilst water was intricate across the branches that met the ground, some of the flowers were charred yet still looked beautiful. Fire was beautiful.

Nyx walked up slowly, not wanting to interrupt anything abruptly, she began to shake as she got closer to Nessie not really sure what they were going to say to each other or how we were going to solve any of this. She walked up and gave the boy she was talking to a warm smile as she heard Nessie excuse herself from the conversation. She then noticed and blinked a bit, they were allowed to bring pets? She felt kind of excited, maybe Z would allow her to get a kitt-- she stopped. That's the last thing she wanted to worry about. "Uh hey.." She said awkwardly.

She laughed gently. "Whatever is behind there probably could destroy us a lot quicker than the other way around." She looked at the door before turning to walk towards the north building. "If you really want to, I won't stop you."She paused to look back at him, "but if you survive. Come find me." She paused then winked before walking to go find Nessie.
