Nyx flinched from the cold shoulder feeling she had gotten from the girl, was everyone going to be this way towards her? She felt her self consciousness swallow her whole, and she wanted to yell out for Alex who was no where to be found. Where was Z? She shook her head as she tried to swallow her tears but her eyes had already began to water. A sensitive soul doesn't belong on earth Nyx. "Thanks, but I'll just.." Her voice cracked enough for her to quickly turn and walk out of the room enough for her to place her back against a wall and droop to the floor to cry in to her knees. "Yes, welcome home Nyx." She sobbed.

When she turned around to ask Alex again he had vanished and she felt her heart break in two. Was this really his greeting to her? To spend less than five minutes with her then to run off. She looked back and continued to smile while she thanked the man and said never mind on the ice cream. Her gentle heart was too sensitive to be left behind. She decided to straighten her shoulders, throw on her alluring smile and walk over to the group of people that had sat at a table. "Uhm. Hello." She said her voice was velvet and inviting while her face was warm and kind while she looked at each of them.

Her excitement made her look childish but her smile reigned on anyone who had been in the room once they walked in to the dining room. The stars dazzled in her scarlet/sapphire eyes as she looked around and the few unfamiliar faces as they walked in to the room. She looked back to wrap herself around Alex until his tension practically slapped her in the face. She glanced up at him confused before looking away before he could look at her. Her heart tightened more, this wasn't the feeling she expected to return to. He was not just tense, but cold his aura surrounded her like thick fog and she almost cringed but she continued to smile as she made her way to the counter. "May I have ice cream, something--" She paused and looked back at Alexander. "What is the word for.. sweet? But like.. the juicy plants sweet?" Her face scrunched up with the puzzle in her head. Her vocabulary not always being so keen.
