I fixed it.
Instead of giving her a massive plate of food, he portioned it as if they were nice sized samples with all sorts of toppings to add to the waffles and what not along with ketchup for her hash browns and eggs. Nyx beamed her childlike smile up at Alex before nodding to get us a seat. She carried her tray over to the table and sat down across from the boy while shrugging at Alex's comment which was morally true except when could he exactly say no to her, the though made her want to giggle.. "I have to admit, human food smells extremely yummy." The first thing she did was take a sip of her milkshake, and then poured jam and syrup on her pancakes and french toast before cutting a bit out of the pancake and shoveling it in her mouth before a moan of happy food goodness.
