Her face was still relaxed and calm as he nervously asked her what to do. "Just begin to wrap it from here-" she pointed to her wrist "Up to here." She pointed to her shoulder. "But we'll have to do it differently on the other side, and here. Use the spray so you don't have to touch them." She handed it to him as her body flinched to the pain. "The faster we do it, the quicker you no longer have to see it." You could tell how weak her heart was as she practically whispered the last words, she knew it was hard for him to look at her, but she thought that if she had him help heal her the pain would be less for him in the long run.

Instincts

She smiled and nodded, taking his hand while getting hoisted up on the side of the pool. She leaned over and splashed him with water before getting up and scurrying for the hunt for the hot tub, after searching for a bit she notices a small drop where there are stones surrounding a tub and smiled. "Hey I found one." She looked for a path and followed it down until she was on the dock with the hot tub and waited for him to find her.

She had heard him say her name from the bedroom, but her eyes were stuck on the wounds. Her face was calm, but you could easily see the agony that was clouding her eyes, her starry fixtures had gone dim leaving her eyes dark. She turned her arms over to look at where she had sacrificed her arms instead of her face being lacerated to pieces. She knew he was standing there, but she continued to stare in the mirror at her wounds. "Who would of known you could be so delicate." She could feel her eyes begin to swell with tears yet her face showed no emotion. She wanted to leap in to his arms and stay there but her wounds forbid her from even being close to any kind of heat. She turned to him helplessly, "Could you help me?" She held up the wraps of bandages and ointments.

She laughed at his flirtatious joke, she could get used to this. Someone she could feel like friends with yet, there was still a spark that had been so easily lit. "I would have to say, simply teryiaki chicken over white rice." She moaned happily at the thought of it. She shivered slightly from sitting out of the water and slid herself back in. "It's getting cold outside, but I am not ready to get out of the water yet."

Nyx woke up from the stinging numbness fading away and the roaring pain in her right shoulder convulsed through out her entire body. She looked over to see Alex fast asleep, and debated on how she was going to make this pain go away. She couldn't rejuvenate again, her human body couldn't take up the capacity of another star's energy. She took a deep breath and looked at the ceiling, she needed to grow up and suck it up. She badly wanted to be in the ring, and this is what she get's for acting hastily. She sat up and saw that her wounds had opened in her sleep and bled through the bandages that covered her chest. She slid herself out of the bed and walked in to the bathroom, she stared in the mirror and slowly peeled away the gored bandages and stared at the gaping wounds from her chest, shoulder and forearms.

She blushed and looked down at her clothing, Oh great, he's going to see my 'fighting wardrobe' She laughed nervously and played with a piece of her hair. "I uh, have to change first." She laughed nervously again and slid in to her bathroom before removing her clothes and placing the tight black shorts, and long sleeve black shirt that was far too low cut, and where the sleeves had holes for her fingers , then a pair of black and white chuck tailors. She walked out sheepishly, "They won't catch on fire, and due to the perve that helped me make these clothes, this is what I get." She shrugged and before he could say anything she walked to the door. "Okay, let's go." She said, and smiled back reassuringly while trying to pull down the black shorts.
