I've never really done CanonxOC before... but I'm not exactly opposed to it. Which Canon?
-hip bump-
Bumpity bump bump!!

Still really craving my Ancient(or maybe not ancient) Greek fantasy game, with my Dynamene.
Also really feeling like a using my Rowena or any of the Black sisters.
Bumpity bump.
I'm kind of feeling an Ancient Greek roleplay. I have a really, really thoroughly developed Neried, that can be played really in any era, that I'm just itching to use.
I actually love all of those. GAH! CHOICES! Britons intrigue me, but I'm currently working on a Celt plot... the most appealing of those for me right now are WWII and Tudor age, in that order. I think I'll send you a pm with some ideas in a few.
Sweet! Any specific time period you favor?
I always have a bunch of side characters in my roleplays, especially for Potter, so that sounds lovely! If you don't mind, could you pm me with any ideas you might have? I'm currently getting ready to head for work, or else I would send you a list of my OCs and plots and things to look over.
I'm going to start this off by saying that this is probably going to be the absolute worst interest check in the history of all interest checks, but whatevs.
I say this because I never do interest checks. I usually search for partners, instead of encouraging people to find me. I'm far more comfortable with seeing other's ideas and going "I'm down for that!" then I am with posting something that says "This idea, I'm down for it... sounds good to me. Anyone agree?"
I think it's because I'm really impatient. Also, because I can't proudly stand behind any of my own ideas. So I just vehemently support others instead? eyedeekay. The point I'm trying to get at is I don't do these. But now I'm doing one, because I really want to write.

So! Here I am. Basic info biz: I'm LeeLee, I'm in my mid twenties but I kind of act like I'm seven most days, I've been roleplaying for a decade now, I prefer really rather advanced roleplays, I'm obsessed with plotting and world building and character development, I tend to write really long posts because I have no self control, I'm rather picky with my partners --I prefer to write with people who put as much into the roleplay as I do, and who aren't afraid to spend more time discussing characters and plots and such in ooc than actually writing ic at times because I do that quite frequently, and who, quite frankly, meet my really high standards. I love to write because I love to read, and I want to enjoy reading the story as much as I enjoying writing for my character. I also would really like a partner who will forgive me for disappearing from time to time, because I will admit I do tend to just drop off the end of the Earth here and there. Mostly because I'm super busy, but also because I get a bit of writers block or write something that I view horrible and I get such horrible anxiety about that I have to run away and hide for a month or two. And then I get even more panicked about trying to apologize for leaving and then it just spirals.
BUT! Because of this I am most forgiving of others when they have to step away for a while. I will be sad by your absence, but incredibly understanding of how life and shit gets in the way from time to time.

Now that I've probably turned every single one of you away, here's my explanation as to why this is the worst interest check in history: I am so in the mood to roleplay, but I don't know what I'm wanting to do. So I can't really list my thoughts and say "pick one!" because that just ain't working right now. I dunno.
So here is a list of things I'm normally interested in:

Harry Potter- I almost exclusively write in the Wizarding World. It's kind of a problem, I know. I've found myself pretty much living there recently I think it's fucking with my sense of reality. But it's what I know best and love most, so there you go. I don't really roleplay in canon very often, mostly in originals. Canons I have/do/will/might play include:
Regulus Black
Barty Crouch Jr.
Rowena Ravenclaw
Helena Ravenclaw
Salazar Slytherin
Poppy Pomfrey
Molly Weasley
Bellatrix, Andromeda, and/or Narcissa Black
Sirius Black
Lily Evans
This list is longer than I originally thought it would be. My list of originals is quite a bit longer. I'll probs post bio bit things later. I write Hogwarts and Post-Hogwarts ages, and my original characters range from apothecary clerks to Unspeakables to advice column writers to damaged Quidditch stars and just about anything in between. I'm also rather dark in my Potterdom, fair warning.

Fantasy: Outside of Potter, fantasy I really only do if I'm really feeling it. I've not really done any LotR of ASoIaF games, but I've done some original plots of a similar ilk. It's not really my forte, and when I do fantasy I tend to do fantasy as historically and realistically and possible. I know. Kind of the opposite, but yeah. I do modern fantasy or medieval, or really historical of any kind --I really love ancient cultures and am so down for an ancient Greek or paleolithic north African game with gods and mythical beasts and yes!

Historical: As I just mentioned, so down for historicalness (I wanted to study archaeology and paleoanthropology but I decided to become an actor/hermit instead). And, really, any historical era is fine with me. 11th century France? I'm down. 6th century B.C. Scotland? SO DOWN! Australia in the 1930s?! DOWN! I will put my heart and soul into research for those plots. Seriously, I love doing historical roleplays. I'm currently really, really fluent on early medieval Europe so if anyone wants to start up something around then I could probably jump into it fairly quickly.

Modern/Futuristic: Honestly, not really my thing, but from time to time I do enjoy a good, average, "here are two people living in today's day doing normal people things." game. I tend to lose my grasp on modern life, so sometimes writing something set in modern times without being in the Wizarding World feels more like fantasy than fantasy. Seriously, I feel like writing that someone is typing on their phone is some crazy alien shit most every time. Most of my characters set in modern times are greatly disillusioned. And way too heavily involved with music and watching tv.
And when I do futuristic it never seems too "future-y." I like to go dystopian, but not apocalyptic. Or more psuedo-utopian in a sense. And I generally stay away from the classic science fiction-y genre. But I do like to write about extraordinary people in modern/future times. Like mutation plots, or time-travelers, or revolutions. Or really, really person dramas that show the extreme internal conflicts of a person in a seemingly uneventful world.

Now, while I am a member of many, many, many different fandoms I only write in the HP fandom. I'm a brony, but I do not do MLP:FiM things. Same goes for Star Wars, Star Trek, Supernatural, AtlA/ LoK, DC and/or Marvel-verse, Tolkien, or Game of Thrones. But I am all about chatting with people who also enjoy these things (:

So endeth my horrible interest check. If I haven't scared you off, or if any of my half-conceived rambling interest you, hit me up! PM is always a good way of getting a hold of me, because I might not check this too often. I'm really rather busy so I might get back to you instantly or I may take forevs. My apologies in advance.
Now the party can begin!

So glad to be back... hopefully the people I was roleplaying with also decided to return.
If you recognize me: yay! Hit me up! If we were writing together before the RPocalypse we should pick up where we left off.
If you don't recognize me: Sadface. We should fix that. I'm a bit overwhelmed with stuff at the moment, but I'm really craving something really dark and/or Harry Potter related. Also, I like chatty people who like to chitty chat, if you do not wish to roleplay with me.
