I'll be honest that would be a horrible idea because with my schedule and home life I don't really focus on reading through every post... I skim through most of them to get the gist of it and read the whole thing if I'm involved in some way shape or form...

I'd gladly help settle disputes as far as combat goes though >.>

And... again... I'm sorry for being a bitch... but nothing bothers me more when RPing than just having people beat the shit out of bosses on their own and in less than a paragraph without the enemy even trying to fight back... if it's an NPC you introduced and you won't actually get any reward from it then fine... have at ye... but if somebody else brought it in, then it is up to THEM when it should die.

the origin of this pet peeve

I only ever GMed one RP of my own, and it was completely destroyed because somebody killed my biggest creature (a giant zombified whale >..> it was an alternate universe Resident Evil RP) in a single post... But of course he had one hell of a wall of text to elaborate just how he did it... took a good five minutes for me to read and my jaw hit the floor... Sure I wasn't SUPER pissed... but I WAS frustrated that he killed my big bad monster without me getting the chance to do anything with it... and of course it was the second page of the RP, so every plot point I had based around that was completely screwed... so I was just floundering for a couple pages before I said fuck it and let the RP die..

now other than that I've helped Kylie GM about half a dozen RPs >.> and in those I just helped her plot how to kill everybody when they pissed her off... or write posts to terrify everybody.... I still remember the time I spent two hours typing up a post about torturing a rebel officer by blindfolding her and pacing her like a predator... lashing out to cut into her skin at random intervals... writing three Word doc. pages worth of shit before finally getting what I needed, and then turned her into one of the basic cannon-fodder minions >.> and then spent the rest of that RP's short life torturing her as she slowly transformed... and it was destroyed by a "white knight" character that absolutely has tro do everything he can to save the damsel in distress and smite evil through any means possible... and his means to do so ended up becoming just throwing off the flow of RP so badly that nobody wanted to post anymore... still kinda pissed that I never got to finish turning her... she was half mutated... she could still remember who she was... what happened... but her bestial instincts were starting to take over and her personality and memories had started to slowly drift away... she couldn't remember why she was fighting... she had forgotten her lover's face... dear god I'd forgotten how sadistic I used to be >.> I tried using her as a personal pet in the sequel... but that one didn't last all that long

I'm sorry for being a bitch but when I read her post this morning, I started thinking up ways to get to her (it wasn't pre-planned for us to meet but I saw an opportunity and decided to take it) had a damn good post thought out during my down time today... and then I check in and *BOOM* gone in one spurt of god mod.

I still say you should call bullshit on it... or claim he was saving some OTHER spear wielding Damsel in Distress... because it was OBVIOUSLY an NPC since she didn't even react in the time it took him to cunt-punt/bitch slap combo one wolf... uppercut another... Leg sweep three of them at once... punt another... Rasengan another... kick the third of the tripped one five-or-six times... and THEN go after the larger one that the spear wielding maiden had been fighting, tackle it (even though it was MUCH larger than the others... and if memory serves it was large enough for her to have to place the butt of her spear in the ground in an old fashion boar hunting technique) and then beat it's skull into a bloody pulp (even though it had almost boss level health) in the time it would take her to even take a breath... because she obviously didn't do anything while he was killing everything or else the dire wolf would have at least done somethign with her too...

His descriptions of this badassness weren't even that great... he crammed it all into... 14 lines of text... My thought up on the spot explanation of the damn creature was half that -.- it would be different if it seemed as if time was put into the slaughter of a boss monster... Maybe we should send him after the ultimate shield dude...

I didn't realize we were allowed access to end game levels already....

Sorry for being a bitch... but going back and tallying that really frustrated me... especially when I had a plan for meeting up with Kylie and that dire wolf was the core of that idea... which is why, y'know, I have an explanation of it's existance...

@lonepupthis rp is meant to be fun. you dont have to kill a single monster if you dont wanna, likewise, some people like to rp as a badass. i'll admit i like to as well, but i try not to seem god-like ^^that being said, its very entertaining to read the posts of the awesome fighters as well as the equally awesome singers/non fighters. it creates a balance that makes the rp more pleasureable to read. :3

And an afterthought:

I don't care if someone is off on their own being a badass, that's fine and if they enjoy it that's great... But I know through personal experience that Kylie is like me with my opinion... and I don't think she'd enjoy somebody just barging into her set up and killing everything when her character is built like a brick shit house and could do it herself if she wanted to, and the fact that she DIDN'T shows that she didn't want it to happen

Ellie frowns as the man seems to read her mind, and she visibly relaxes, letting the facade of cheerfulness fade, "I'm sorry for being paranoid... I've... just had issues with PKers in the past..." she explains with a sigh as she releases her dagger and puts her arm back into her sleeve... of course she tries to do it without him noticing but with him being a cartographer as well odds were his perception was just as high as her... question is: Was his perception higher than her stealth? if it was he might notice the slight bulge in her sleeve...

"And whether I hear them coming or not, it still does well to be prepared... you never know what they may have with them..." she says, rubbing the back of her head, "My last encounter was a close one... only thing that saved me was my sprint... I managed to outrun their assassin..." she says, her smile fading further away as she remembers the incident... of draining her last health potion as she prepared to spend the rest of the night hiding in a tree waiting for the PKers to grow tired of hunting for her... but she quickly shakes it away as the smile returns, "To be honest... I'm not much of a combat build..." she says with a hint of embarrassment, "I know most people who bought this game did so because of the concept of just opening a can of whoopass... but... I found more joy in the adventuring aspect.. y'know?"
