Rosario X Vampire - The First Year

Like usual, Ellie flinches as Yua suddenly jumps to her feet, the smaller girl pressing as tight as she can against the back of her seat as she clenches her eyes tight, half expecting something to hit her... but seconds later gains control of herself and shakes the stiffness out of her body as she hesitantly takes Yua's hand, her own burning from embarassment and slightly sweaty as she's helped to her feet. Nodding her head to Yua's apologies she forces a shaky smile "I-it's okay... I... understand..." she says as she slings her backpack over her shoulder and follows the girl off the bus.

The moment she steps off the bus and her eyes lock on the woods, she seems to undergo a nearly complete personality change. She starts practically shaking from excitement as she moves quickly for the brush, her ass wiggling a bit as if she was trying to wag a tail. A forest! An actual honest-to-goodness forest! It had been so long since she had had a good run in the woods... She'd been practically surrounded by concrete every single day since she arrived in Japan and it hadn't helped her psyche one bit. But now she had a feeling of freedom as she runs her hands over the foliage just off to the side of the path. A slight scowl crosses her face as she hears the boy talk, calling this beautiful place "God-forsaken" to which she just glares at him and growls under her breath as he walks away. How could he call such a beautiful sight god forsaken? Such beauty was the gods' gift to the earth.

She quickly forgets about the boy as she just flops in front of a tree, forgetting the world for a moment as she just listens to the melody of the forest. The whispering of the wind through the trees almost drowning out the voices coming from the path. If Yua had followed her, she'd see a completely different person from the nervous wreck she'd been sitting beside on the bus...

A thoughtful frown crossed Ellie's face as she nods, "I... understand that.... the moving around I mean... My mom could never hold down a job when I was little... we were constantly moving... And then when she kicked me out I never stopped... except for a short time here and there... there was one time I was picked up as a stray cat... that only lasted a week though... their little kid almost tore my tail off..." she mumbles the last bit, a hand reaching back to gently touch the bottom of her back, "I hissed at him and was back out on the street in an instant...." she continues, grumbling before looking out the window, head cocking to the side a bit as she approaches the tunnel... It was amazing how people managed to keep tunnels from filling back in... She had numerous burrows in the past... spent a few nights as a mole hiding out in abandoned tunnels... But the way humans managed to make such large versions keep from caving in fascinated her... she was always nervous of the rabbit barrows caving in on her and trapping her... Until she learned to effectively dig for herself... Her favorites were the meerkats though... Although they were iffy about the newcomer... It was very interesting to watch...

It takes her a moment to gather her thoughts, realizing that the driver was talking... Something about magic mumbo jumbo... she wasn't really sure, she had missed most of it and just brushed it off as she leaned against the window and stared at the quickly approaching tunnel in silence... A little nagging desire in the back of her mind making her want to poke her head out of the window and feel the wind i her face but she easily represses it.

As the bus enters the tunnel and the light show begins she visibly jumps in her seat, obviously not expecting the lights but once the initial surprise fades her eyes widen in fascination as she stares, entranced out the window... For a whole half a minute before she's snapped out of it by her personal bubble being intruded on by the girl beside her... Her whole body tenses as she presses back into the seat, her heartbeat instantly skyrocketing as she stares straight again at the seat in front of her, doing her best to just ignore her exploding bubble... But before long her eyes begin to wander... Starting at the skirt that just barely covered the girl's rump... And moving up her curves.... She took note of damn near every detail of this girl's nearly immaculate appearance... even taking a moment to envy the purple flower pin in her hair... Of course the description of this sounds like it were a smooth little display like the TV shows do when the main character feels love at first sight... This was more like a frantic -OH DEAR GOD SHE'S SO CLOSE TO ME WHAT DO I DO?? WHERE DO I LOOK?? SHOULD I MOVE? SHOULD I STAY STILL?? AAAAH SOMEBODY SAVE ME!!!! oh wow... she's really pretty... BUT OH GOD SHE'S IN MY SPACE WHAT DO I DO??- So... about as far from smooth and calm as possible.

Sorry I havent posted yet guys... Foxxy made the mistake of teaching me how to get the Sims 3 to work on my laptop... soooo... I've kinda been paying more attention to my sim-me than I have the real me >.> <.< >.> on the bright side Sim-me is now a world class surgeon who makes over $500 an hour...

I'll try to post but no promises... have a sci-fi convention to go to with my cousin tomorrow and it's currently 1AM... sooo... I's sleepy and need to get to bed... but I'll try to force one out before bed...

Ellie nervously chews on her lower lip, her right hand rubbing up and down her left as she shifts a bit uneasily at Yua's words. Were succubusses common and she's gonna look stupid for not knowing what one is? Her cheeks go a bright shade of crimson as the japanese girl giggles at her lack of knowledge and she decides to save herself further embarrassment and not pursue that conversation any further.

"I... I'm sorry..." she mumbles, looking down at her lap where she began wringing her hands again, "I.. didn't even know what I was until the day my mom kicked me out... and then I never had much interaction with people after that... I mean.. I used to read stories about creatures like vampires and werewolves... But... that's it..." She releases a heavy sigh as she shifts a bit in her seat "I didn't even know what I am...and... I only know that because somebody told me that's what they think I am... I might not even actually be one.." she continues with a halfhearted shrug as she reaches over to grab her bag, a hand fishing around inside it until she pulls out another one of her beef sticks and uses her teeth to tear it open.

she takes a small bite out of the stick as she stares at the floor between her feet... which she just noticed were still bare... she had forgotten to dig her shoes out of the bag and hadn't even noticed it until now... She just idly stares at them as she wiggles her toes on the cold metal floor and reaches back into the bag to make sure her shoes were still in there... After a bit of groping she feels her hand run over the hard rubber bottom of one of them before pulling her hand back out.

"S-so... uhm.." she starts, struggling so desperately to try to think of something to talk about... This girl was the only one who really seemed intent on trying to be nice to her... so she tried her best to push down that little voice that tells her it's all a sham and try to make a friend.. "where... where are you from? Did... you uhm... live in that town back there...?"

A visible tremor runs through Ellie as Yua moves up a seat to sit beside her and she reflexively shrinks back a bit more for a moment before managing to compose herself and turn so she was sitting with her back to the seat, although the new position left her obviously feeling ill at ease... She didn't like not having her back to something more solid when she knew there were people around but she was so worried about angering the girl so she did it anyway. She could tell from the look on the girl's face something was wrong.

-Oh god... did I say something wrong? Was... was I not supposed to ask that? are we supposed to keep it secret?? Oh god if we were supposed to keep it secret... then.... then everybody already knows what I am! what... what if I get in trouble for it??- she silently frets, her hands wringing together on her lap as she watches Yua get closer. Every hair on her body stands on end as the gap gets smaller and smaller... She tries to hide it, but her chest starts to heave a bit as her breathing increases, her heart pounding in her ears as every instinct tells her to run but she fights them down and gulps heavily as she tries to keep from panicking as the girl whispers in her ear... With her senses as alert as they were in her near-panic she could practically feel every individual hair on the side of her face twitching from the expelled breath... and within a moment the information is transferred, the girl moves away... And Ellie slowly calms down as a nervous and thoughtful frown crosses her face...

"You're a... what? What... what's that?" she asks, brow furrowed and head cocked to the side slightly. From the expression on her face, it'd be rather obvious that she had absolutely no clue what Yua claimed to be was... Of course she only knew what SHE was through god knows how much research from nights she had spent in libraries trying to find answers during those first few months...

Ellie gulps heavily as the taller girl inhales deeply and slowly lets it out as if she was irritated at something… and instantly Ellie’s brain kicks back into panic mode as she feels she did something to upset the girl and she pulls her legs tighter to her body as she lowers her head.

“I… haven’t really been near humans for years…” she mumbles, “When… my mother found out about my powers… she kicked me out… and… I’ve been alone since… I don’t even remember how long it’s been…” she says, rubbing her face a bit, “Not like… my first change wasn’t bad enough… But… at least I managed to get the hang of my powers quick.” She forces a smile at the last part as she shudders a little, a ripple running up her head as the hair of her crown lifts and shifts, a pair of pointed brown ears emerging for a few moments, shifting this way and that, before sinking back down and moving back to the side of her head before becoming human again.
She was about to reply to the girl’s comment about the living situation, but falls silent as the driver speaks, and she found herself wondering whether she would end up living with somebody, or alone… but quickly decided it didn’t matter…

“So… uhm…. You… you said you can fly?” she asks, looking back up at the girl, “C-can… uhm… well… It might be rude… but… uhm… can… I ask what you are…?”
