TheMusketMan — Roleplayer Guild

I'm jumping on the Spamfic bandwagon, I participated in WOTM in the old guild (And won, for those who were wondering.) So I figured I give this a go. Criticism is greatly encouraged, so ya know, let me have it. I'm gonna do the introduction here and then the rest of the story in Google Docs so here we go.

Introduction [+]

Lightning flashed in forks across the sky, the sound of thunder chasing after it. The tower silhouetted against the cloudy, night sky. Rain fell from the clouds, bombarding the structure mercilessly. Holmes marched purposefully down a marble corridor, her heels clicking importantly against the cold floor. She could hear the rain trying unsuccessfully to penetrate the building, she stopped at the elevator, smashing the button and waiting patiently. With a pleasant ding, the steel doors opened and she stepped inside. There was only one floor and one way to go, the steel doors closed shut and she gripped firmly onto the railing. The elevator shot upwards, faster than anyone could even fathom to guess, the pressure pushed her down and she struggled to maintain balance. Ding! The elevator stopped so abruptly that she had to close her eyes to reorient herself, she stood up straight again, straightening her brown suit and pushing back her dark chocolate hair. The door opened to reveal a homely study, thousands of books lined the walls and a giant glass chandelier hung from the ceiling, in the middle of the room was a giant arm chair in front of an expensive fireplace, a figure spoke from the chair.

"Holmes. Please, come in." She stepped into the room, the steel doors immediately closed behind her. Holmes had only once been in this room before, and that was the day she was made a Moderator, a huge honor in the land of Roleplayer Guild. Needless to say, she was anxious. "You called, sir?" she asked, assuming her authoritative stance. The figure was silent a moment, "We are under great threat, Holmes. The forces that attacked our land in the past are conspiring to do it again, but this time, we may not be able to recover." Holmes swallowed nervously, the last attack was devastating, they lost thousands of Roleplayers and it took them months to even get any order back. The figure continued "I'm afraid that the combined efforts of the Moderators and Guild Masters will not be enough to stop them, we need to take a more...serious, approach." Holmes blinked, what did he mean by that? She had a feeling of dread in her chest as she asked "What approach would that be, sir?' The figure was silent. "We need Spam team 3." Holmes heart sunk, surely it wasn't THAT bad? " SIr, is it really necessary to take su-" He cut her off "Yes it is, Holmes. I'll have a mission report sent to your desk, have the team alerted by Friday. You're dismissed." Holmes turned on her heel and walked to the elevator, things were about to get interesting.

Chapter 1: The New Guy

I was in a small country town in the old west, when it was attacked by bandits. The bandits started killing everybody and only a small group escaped the town(Including me). We came upon this early industrial age factory that looked super high tech on the inside. We came to a room with a bunch of space-age guns and suddenly acquired Mass Effect-ish powers. In the next room there was about a hundred guys on several production floors, and we had a fucking sweet fight, with explosions me flipping over a robot and blowing it's head off with a grenade launcher and using my powers to throw it's carcass into five other guys. We fought our way up through the factory until we got to the roof, where there was a party going on with George Clooney, Kate Upton, and Nikola Tesla. And Big Boss was using Raiden's face to mop up some puke on the floor. Also my Grandpa and Aunt were there. It's probably the best dream I've ever had.
