– Leroy

Swearing again, Leroy was pretty tempted to just kick the guy (Zivon) crying like a little kid. It was annoying, and not something he wanted to deal with at the moment. “Shut up!” In all honesty, be didn’t have the right to reprimand anyone about panicking since he was doing it too but… Like he cared about such things. Between his fear and anger, he didn’t even hear the red-haired guy giving another speech to all of them.

He really was on the verge of going on a panic-induced rampage, when another source of light suddenly appeared nearby. The strangely-dressed girl (Little Feather) with a lion (Lion) he had invited along from the cafeteria had a dragonfly on her hand that was glowing with light. “I’m gonna buy a stupid keychain flashlight or something after this…” He growled, beginning to calm down. Leroy took a few deep breaths and wiped the sweat off his brows. Then realizing his hands were clammy as well, he wiped his palms on the sides of his pants.

Walking closer to the light source, he finally got a good look at the one who was crying like a baby on the floor. Leroy took the 3 small bottles of ink out of his pocket and narrowed his eyes at the boy (Zivon). Confirming the colour of each bottle, he snapped, “Shut up, or I’ll give you something to really cry about.” Selecting the yellow one, he poured some of the liquid onto his left hand. He briefly rubbed his fingers over his palm to spread the ink onto his entire hand, then he momentarily placed the hand on the boy’s shoulder. ‘Joy.’ Lifting his hand, everyone nearby could see a yellow handprint on the boy (Zivon). Contrary to his threat, he was helping to calm the boy down. It would probably need a few minutes before the boy actually felt happy, but hopefully it would help him stop panicking.

“I’m alright!” Straining her voice, Kathy replied back when she heard Crash call her name. It was actually fairly unlikely he could hear her over the chaos, so she gave up on that and focused on getting down from the ceiling. She breathed a sigh of relief when she felt another surface with her outstretched hand. Her eyes had pretty much adjusted to the darkness too and she could see there was a good crowd of students gathered in the auditorium. ‘Good thing I didn’t choose to just jump down and see how it went.’ Giving herself a pat on the back, she took a look around while she still had a good vantage point. She clicked her tongue in annoyance when she heard Crash’s speech. ‘Sounds to me like you know more than you’re letting on.’ She thought, narrowing her eyes at him. ‘I’d never feel the need to suddenly prepare to fight from that weird pulse, but you seem awfully sure that’s what we need to prepare for don’t you Crash?’

Able to see well-enough now with the dim lights and her adjusted eyes, she crossed over to the wall and sprinted down. “Heads!” Giving just a short warning, about halfway down the wall she jumped down onto a small patch of clear ground among the students. Landing on both her feet and one hand (the other occupied from holding a shoe), she gritted her teeth slightly from the impact. It hurt, but nothing she hadn’t done before. Straightening back up, she looked for the guy with his hair lit on fire since he was easy to locate and had been near Crash when she last checked. A glowing dragonfly distracted her for a moment, but she pushed her way through the students to Crash and the guy with his hair fire. ‘That’s… He’s not screaming in pain, so I’m sure it’s part of his power right?’ She frowned a little as she realized it was something that would normally worry her, but quickly assumed it was normal.

Tapping Crash on the shoulder to get his attention, she held her good hand out to him with her palm facing upward. “I’m going to need my shoe back.” She said in a flat tone. Then seeing his fangs and the sweat on his forehead, Kathy faltered a bit and asked with a worried expression, “That… Happened at the party too, didn’t it? Crash, what’s wrong?”

Wow O.o loving Ara the Doppelganger xD everyone in this RP is do inventive ^^' fingers crossed they get accepted ^^

Thank you. ^^

Name: ‘Ara’ Glaisyer (Nicknames: ‘A’ for the male Ara, ‘B’ for the female Ara. Note: Calling them ‘Ara A’ or ‘Ara B’ will be taken offensively.)

Age: 19

Gender: Female/Male

Species/Race: Doppelganger(?)

Powers:
2 Lives – ‘Ara’ is actually ‘1 person’ with ‘2 different existences’, and needs to be killed twice to remain permanently dead. If Ara is killed once, the Doppelganger will receive all the wounds inflicted onto Ara and will disappear in his/her place. It takes exactly 24 hours for the doppelganger to recover, therefore the second death will have to occur before 24 hours (see Fractal World below).
Fractal World – A world accessible by doppelgangers beyond mirror reflections. Other beings can enter the Fractal World if they know about it, but it is almost impossible to leave without the help of a doppelganger. Ara can access this world using any sort of mirror to switch places with his/her doppelganger, and the doppelganger is able to heal any sort of injury as long as they remain within the Fractal World. It is also incredibly convenient for storage purposes.
‘Karmic Voice’ – An ability limited only to the MALE Ara (A). He can return any injuries/damage to the one that caused it by naming the part of his body that was injured. Any injuries inflicted on B cannot be transferred. If he knows a person’s full name, A can call that name to transfer any injury he has to that person. Otherwise, the damages can only be returned to the one that inflicted it.
‘Mirroring Eyes’ – An ability limited only to the FEMALE Ara (B). Any sort of attack or ability B witnesses, she can copy once for the same purpose. For example, she can also shatter rock if she witnesses someone else do it, but she cannot inflict that same attack on a person because she witnessed the attack being used on a rock, not a person. Also, she can only copy one ability at a time. She can keep a certain ability in her ‘memory’ for as long as she wishes, but if she ever decides to copy a different ability then she won’t be able to use the first ability until she witnesses it again.

Weaknesses:
Powers – The Fractal World cannot be accessed without a mirror. Karmic Voice can only be used if the person can hear A, and he lacks any offensive ability of his own. Mirroring Eyes cannot be used if B’s sight is obstructed.
Enemy Within – The 2 halves share a form of mutual trust and acknowledgement that they cannot survive without the other, but in all honesty they are always fighting to have the right to exist in the real world. In fact there are only 2 things keeping them from killing each other: 1. It is impossible to lay a hand on the other because they are never in the same world at the same time. And 2. As far as they know, neither of them can die permanently unless both of them are killed together. Their memories are shared between them when they switch places, but otherwise they can keep secrets from each other until the next switch and the one in the Fractal World does not have real-time updates on what is going on unless there is a mirror reflecting Ara somewhere nearby.
Socializing – As one can imagine, it’s pretty hard convincing people that both the male and female counterpart are actually the same person. It gets even more complicated due to the fact both A and B consider each other enemies, but dislike when they treated differently by friends after they switch.
Like a Human – Ara is a little sturdier and faster than the average human, but otherwise has similar weaknesses as a regular human. As long as he/she doesn’t ‘die’ (1st time), any injuries inflicted on Ara will remain and affect him/her like anyone else.

Personality: Ara has a strong will and a sharp tongue to match it. He/She flares up pretty quickly, but cools down just as fast. No one knows where Ara’s unbounded confidence comes from, but basically Ara always faces things head-on and seems oddly optimistic at times.

Background: Ara can’t actually remember which half was the real original and which half was the true doppelganger. In fact, Ara is pretty sure they (the original and the doppelganger) were originally the same gender, but they can’t remember if they were originally male or female. Ara’s memories are completely jumbled up, being able to recall only small bits of a normal life or the memories of a wandering doppelganger.

They know that at one point in their lives, the real Ara and the Doppelganger must have met up, triggering a series of accidents aimed to take Ara’s life. However, Ara was not willing to go down with a fight and tracked the Doppelganger down with the intent to kill if that was what needed to be done. Instead, Ara and the Doppelganger somehow merged together, and were able to spare both their lives by doing so. However, this drastic event had permanently damaged their memories and even changed their physical characteristics. After merging into one and splitting off into 2 halves of each other, they became a strange being unlike any other. Both A and B believe they are the real original and that the other half is the Doppelganger that ended up ruining their lives.

Other: Although Ara will appear normally in photographs and the like, he/she can’t see their own image in mirrors because the one reflected in the mirror will be the other half. The doppelganger in the mirror is able to move separately within the mirror, but cannot move away from the mirror as long as ‘Ara’ remains in front of the mirror.

Liferusher...what did you do to Zivon? O^O"

Lol, Liam just blew air onto one of his ears. I'm guessing that she's hoping that Zivon will jump up from the surprise/scare.

EDIT: Double-posting below. I shan't apologize this time around because it was completely on purpose. xD
Morning/Afternoon everyone. :)
@HylianRose: Lol, then I seem to have accidentally posted at the exact moment everyone else stopped. xD Still feels awkward.
If I simplify it, basically: Leroy is scared of the dark. Panic-filled action may ensue.

Hmm... As much as I want to stick around, I have an early start tomorrow. :S Night everyone.
Gah, I keep editing my last post because I catch a typo or get a small spark for adding a few details. ^^;

By the way, I highly suggest someone just knock Leroy out or something. Otherwise he might get all Leeroy Jenkins on the on-coming demon party. xD Not really, but with the weakness I've set up for him he might become a bit problematic soon.
EDIT: Judging from the silence, I seem to have said something awkward. Sorry. :X
I think Carmen should give Bael an encore from the party. xP
– Leroy

Since Leroy had no idea how he was actually supposed to pick up a cat bakeneko without hurting him, he was quite glad that Matt decided to carry Seven instead. He noticed that another person, a girl this time, dressed in a rather eye-catching outfit was approaching them. “E-excuse me! W-what’s going on?” He shrugged, responding, “Not sure. But apparently there’s an emergency meeting in the auditorium. Come with us if you’d like.” Staring at the lion as he followed the others he thought, ‘There seems to be a lot of cats in this place.’

They arrived at the auditorium without any trouble, and just as he opened his mouth to ask another question, a terrifying roar interrupted him. At the same time, all the lights suddenly shut off and for just a split second there was an eerie silence as all background noise from motors and machines were shut off. Pretty soon, there were a lot of screams, including his own. Yelling out like he was in pain, Leroy took a few steps back and bumped into someone. Luckily, there was a source of light again as Matt lit his hair on fire.

However, it wasn’t enough. It was certainly better than nothing, but Leroy was on the verge of a panic attack. His eyes were opened wide with fear, and he quickly took in sharp breaths of air. “Dammit… Dammit dammit dammit, damn it all!!!” He yelled out, seeming angry and frightened all at once. Afterwards, he said a few more ‘creative’ curse words that must be censored out completely for the younger students. Finally growing quiet again, he bit down on his thumbnail as he looked around him. If he didn’t get more light soon, he was probably going to add to the problems these students had to face.
– Kathy

Kathy felt a slight flicker of guilt when she noticed that her shoe had been a more effective blunt weapon that she had thought it would be. Then she remembered why she felt the desire to do it in the first place, and she felt at peace again. “What’d I do now?” Crash asked, evidently having no idea why she was cross with him. Releasing her arms back to her side she muttered, “Don’t worry, I plan on calling it even with that attack just now. I can give you a proper explanation if you really want one but,” She stopped for a moment and sighed. A sad look replaced the annoyed one on her face as she continued “… You’ll probably think it’s a stupid reason anyway.” Finishing her sentence, the look disappeared back to the silently angry one she had before.

As other students began filing in, she stared at her shoe in Crash’s hand and debated between going back down or staying where she was when a loud roar suddenly resounded through the auditorium. The lights suddenly shut off and a she felt a strange shockwave run through her. She couldn’t understand what it was, but it surprised her enough that she fell down onto the ceiling with her hands and knees. Thankful that she had managed to keep some part of her feet on the ceiling, she looked around in confusion. There was a light somewhere below among the crowd of students, but it was still dark where she was and Kathy could barely see out in front of her. ‘W-What do I do..? I can’t just jump down anymore, I might hit someone.’ And unlike her shoe, she was fairly certain she was heavy enough to become fatal for the average person. Not to mention she could mess up the landing and break her bones during such an important time.

She looked at barely lit darkness around her. The ceiling was mostly smooth, but there were the occasional thick cords, stage lights, and other obstacles that she couldn’t see anymore. ‘If I trip… I’m probably going to drop down in the worst position possible for a fall.’ Swallowing, Kathy crouched down and took off the other shoe, keeping a firm hold of it in her hand. She could get a better feeling for the surface under her now that she only had a pair of socks on. ‘The nearest wall was that way.’ Although she felt nervous and her heart was beating faster, she felt relatively calm. She kept her hands out in front of her (one still holding onto a shoe) and she slowly slid towards the nearest wall, being as careful as possible as she waited for her eyes to adjust to the darkness.
