Why stop there? lel

Funny thing, I had my first paragraph all written out before you dropped by at the perfect timing. xD And it works! Hooray for not having to re-write everything!
– Kathy

“Y-you want me t-to go in there alone?”

Kathy gave him a sneaky grin and replied, “Yes, alone. Come on, I thought guys liked pretty nurses?” Feeling safe in her spot right outside the infirmary, she thought it was hilarious how scared Crash seemed of Kiwi. And this was before he actually got a chance to be treated by her. “Don’t worry, this door is going to remain open. I’m not sure if you actually want to drag me into it if you get caught though, I’ll have to tell Kiwi that you were the one that stole her patient yesterday.” Her grin growing slightly wider she reminded him about the night before. ‘Speaking of which, I didn't really get to thank him properly at all.’

Seeing Crash hesitate, she was just about to make some sort of suggestion when the world’s biggest spider suddenly jumped out in front of her. “!!!” Yelping out in a particularly feminine voice she didn’t even know she had, her grin completely disappeared as she realized the spider was smirking at her. At least, that’s what she had thought it was at first. As soon as she recognized the scary facial features, she soon wished it was the world’s biggest spider. “M-Miss Kiwi, how are you..?” Hands up in the air as if to show she was unarmed, she struggled with the urge to make a run for it. ‘Must not run… She’ll catch me one way or another and it’ll be even worse for me if I try to run.’

"Don't be shy! Come on in!...Let me treat that hand of yours...that you've never told me about..."

This… Was bad. Not only was she still a potential patient, Kiwi actually remembered that they had run away from the infirmary yesterday. Inwardly, she was regretting her own naivety. ‘Why didn't I look up? Of all people, I should have checked the ceiling. Even I walk around there sometimes.’ Catching Crash's eyes, she gave him an apologetic look. Then looking at the needle pointed at her she thought, 'Verbally, her threats are directed at Crash. But honestly I feel like I'm the one under the knife.'

“I just didn't think I should bother you, since you seemed to have your hands full and all.” Putting on her best smile, Kathy was doing her best to think of a way to appeal to Kiwi without aggravating her further. “Um… We actually promised to be somewhere for dinner. Zivon, the boy you treated yesterday, wanted us to join him for a home-cooked meal. Any chance you could let us go for today? My hand’s going to be fine and Crash over there isn't really injured at all…” She began trailing off, feeling that Kiwi was probably not going to accept that as a good enough reason to lose her patients. Sighing, Kathy tried to make a compromise instead, “Or can you make sure we’ll still be conscious and lucid enough by dinner time? I don’t want Zivon to think we completely ditched him. Most of all, I really think that girl over there needs more help than we do. Um, please?”

Unfortunately for you, I got on just in time.

xDD Post! Post now!!
Pity Animal doesn't seem to be online. There's a new victim patient for Kiwi. :d
:<

EDIT: And I seem to have killed the conversation with a single emoticon, gack. >.<
I'd want to see some MattLily action before cheering for either team. So far I've only seen screen time for just one side so I demand more action from the other. >:P
Stand strong brother. Sounds like people are wrapping up with finals and whatnot, so the fun should be back soon. (ノ゚▽゚)ノ

Yeah. :S Very few of us seem to be on around the same time now, and if we are it's usually just to check in for a few minutes before life comes around to kidnap people again.
– Kathy

Sighing in relief, Kathy let the girl ease away from her and into Crash’s arms. “Whew, thank you.” Looking at Lion she gave him a quick pat on the head. “And thank you as well.” Taking a moment to catch her breath, she shook her arms in an attempt to relieve the tension in them. As tiring as it was, she hadn’t been moving for too long so she was quick to regain her normal breathing.

”You ok?” Crash asked. “What exactly happened?”

“…” Feeling rather undignified at how easily he was lifting the girl, she furrowed her brows in discontent and frowned. Following Crash through the doors she answered, “I’m fine. To be honest, I have no idea what happened either. She seemed fine a while ago, but then she started burning up and lost consciousness.”

Hearing Crash admit that he forgot where the infirmary was, she gave him a few reassuring taps on the shoulder and moved ahead of him. “This way.” Glad they were already in the main building, she led the way through the halls with a few glances back to check up on Crash and the girl. Looking down at Lion following them, she told him, “I promise. We’ll just drop her off, then look for Little Feather. Don’t worry about her, I’m sure she’s fine.”

With the infirmary door coming into sight she looked at Crash and joked, “By the way, remind me to challenge you to a race or something later this week. I need to earn some of my self-esteem back.” Finally in front of the infirmary door, Kathy decided not to knock and instead chose to open the door just a crack to peer inside. After making sure the coast was clear, she held the door open for them and waved them in with a sheepish look. “Er, I’ll wait here. If I go inside with this hand, I’m going to be jumped by Kiwi.”
