I'm still here, but I've been waiting for Luna to make a post.
It would appear so. Or maybe they're just busy, or maybe they stopped visiting the site for a few days because it had all but stopped working for a while there.
Speaking of which, when can we expect an OOC by Jeddaven?
I'm going to put forward some possible interest in this. And since you said the points were up for discussion, I'll give my opinion on them.

1. I like it; it's a nice change from the typical norm of the human race being either the newcomers or the underdogs.

2. My opinion on the matter of psionics and the like is that it should be allowed, but it shouldn't be overpowered and a sort of 'sci-fi' magic that can beat technology every time. After all, psionics can provide for some rather interesting nations and races (so long as nobody tries to use psionics as a justification for an entire overpowered race of beings). You could have races that come have it naturally, and perhaps look down on those who can only achieve it through genetic and cybernetic modification or something. Just a thought, since right now I'm just vomiting my thoughts out onto this post.

3. I agree completely. When your imagination's the limit, the galaxy shouldn't be full of rubber-forehead aliens unless there's a reason for it.

4. Once again, complete agreement.

5. Cool.
So, uh, anybody there?
Holy Palace of the Gu'Shedal, Capital District, Manram

"If the tales are true, their treasury has been empty for a long time," Alurar said, turning his attention to the newcomer. He was an interestingly dressed fellow, to say the least, and Alurar was interested to note that he too had chosen to carry a weapon on his person. He was rather glad the Hanarth Princes weren't the only ones here with weapons, not that it would've mattered wither way.

"From what we hear in Hanartha, everything of value in his palace has been stolen and the King is a King only in name," Alurar continued, practically ignoring Jim.
Asurar took William's hand, smiling as he shook it. "Well it's a pleasure to meet you, Captain Edwin. It's nice to meet a fellow warrior," he said happily, "Though I'm not much of a rider myself. I prefer to be on my feet with a sword in my hands." He patted the hilt of the greatsword on his back back emphasis, and gave another good-natured smile.
Meely Plantation, Manas

The ride south hadn't been a particularly difficult one, at least no more difficult than any constant ride would be, but the group had been riding almost constantly since they set out. So all ten of them were rather dirty and didn't have the most pleasant smell. Truthfully the only reason why they'd stopped at the plantation was because it was along the route to the capital; the fact that it was run by the Queen's heir was simply a bonus. When Lucille made her offer, one of the hanarth stepped forward. He wasn't the tallest or largest of them, but he was the oldest by far. His face had hints of wrinkles to it, and his black hair had wisps of grey to it.

"I'm sure that my men would enjoy that, my lady," the man said, "We've spent quite a while on the road. And it's been too long since any of us have had a good meal. We appreciate the hospitality." All the other men nodded their heads in agreement, before the man spoke again, "You are Princess Lucille, correct? don't suppose you would be available to talk after the meal, would you?"

Hey SovereignGrave, do you mind if I change my "Lucille gets angry at the dirty messengers" segment? Or have you already started writing a response in which your tired, dirty men respond to my character (lucille) going grazy over them getting the carpet dirty? The reason I'd like to edit this segment out is because I realized my character Lucille is not the type of person to get angry at people making her floor dirty. The way I wrote it, as of right now, it is completely out of character. So I want to edit that segment out.

That's cool, I've only been thinking about it. I haven't actually started writing anything yet.
Sorry, I'm just rather averse to posting in succession. And I wasn't sure if Feigling wanted Corvus to pop into King Jim and Alurar's conversation.
Hahaha, they're not going to be particularly happy about being yelled at. And I didn't find your post boring at all.
Nice posy Luna, but I want to point out two things. Firstly, the men wouldn't have outright said they're bringing an offer of alliance; the most they would've said is that they have a message from the Grand Prince. And two, they've been riding for days and days and so its probably been awhile since they've had a bath and their clothes are probably dirty from the road. I don't think the Lucille would find them 'delicious'. XD
