You're probably going to have to change your magic section. Magic is supposed to be incredibly rare, like the number of magic-users in your nation has to be around the single digits.

Rifles weren't used in the Renaissance as far as I know.Who controls the nations on the southern side of the map?

I'm the River Kingdom of Kant. And just so you know, there's a list on the first page of all the players and their nation.

Do most people have muskets in their armies? As rifles didn't exist till the 19th century

Well, from what I can find rifles existed quite a bit earlier but weren't any better than muskets for common use for a lot longer. But now that you mention it, I think there are some nations that use riflemen.

well i think it's better than the nation rps where people are showboating their nation's military power and how they can take down anybody they encounter, I've been apart of one of those and it was very immature.

Thankfully I've never been in a nation RP where it's just (or even mostly) people doing that, fortunately. And I agree, I'd much rather have this than that. That's just no fun.

Wait, does the myraratur republic become a NPC nation or does it no longer exist?

Since we haven't started yet, I assume it just wouldn't exist anymore. But that's for Golem to say.

it's an rp about controlling nations, countries in real life trade, what did you expect?

I know that, but in all of the Nation RPs I've been in I've never seen discussions like this. Yeah, there was talk of trade and whatnot but not like this.

It's really simple if you're trading 1 to 1. You just give one thing you have for something you want. It's more complex if your connecting the trade for 1+ nations.

I don't think that's really how it works, unless the rulers themselves control pretty much all trade in and out of the nation and forbid any other trading from going on.
I think all the trade talk is a bit strange. Do all of your nations' rulers control who trades what and to who?

Still, just to sail to a nation like Avalaysia or The Al-Emekir Tribes would be traveling about 1/4-1/3 the length of the map.

Maritime nations can have fairly extensive trade routes. I'm pretty sure Carthage, for example, traded with modern-day Cornwall. Plus he does have Sauron's nation and Kant to trade with.

i would suggest that the women of your nation learn to have a mutual respect for men otherwise trading might be difficult

They don't need to respect men, just pretend to or be at least at somewhat polite around them.

Oh, there's a list now? Awesome! Haven't been able to check, too busy trying to update my Nation Sheet!

Yup! And speaking of updating Nation Sheets; Golem, you must not have seen my questions about Ta'hamurg I had on page 8. I'm trying to come up with the history of Kant, it they're sort of important. Like, how far did they expand? How did they expand, was it predominantly through military might or was it diplomatically? And how did they treat people of other faiths that would refuse to put the Ta'hamurg God above their own native God(s)?

@FallenMuse, what's your nation?

There's a list on the first page. They're Avalysia.
I'm not going to bother coming up with anything as specific as X for Y, because the Kantau Kings and Queens don't really bother directly with trade. In Kant trade is the domain of the merchants, not the rulers (though they could involve themselves if they wanted).
