Random placement! Sounds funner to me that way.
This is still an absolutely massive WIP, I just want to get what I've thought out already onto a sheet.

Isihlungu'sa Federation

Well, I'm interested in this. I've been wanting to get into another NRP for a bit now.
Well for me I did think it was kind of weird that it was moving so slow, since I've had RPs that went slightly faster and still ended up dying off. But as long as there's people actually posting and the slowness is just because that's when people get around to posting and not because they've forgotten about the RP I'm good. So you don't have to worry about me.
@TheSovereignGrave If it makes you feel better you could say that the best linguists in their respective nations studied the message and managed to match it to the version that existed in their world and were then able to decipher it to the point where it is roughly understandable.

It's not just that; it's just that I was expecting something a bit, I don't know, different. More realistic, maybe? I didn't expect it to start out with some entity coming out and saying "Hey, guess what? I transported your entire country to another dimension!" since that's never mentioned anywhere in the OOC. I figured our first posts would be more about actually realizing what the hell had happened. I understand wanting to get right to the "action" but the RP just feels really rushed to me.

I have to get the story going somehow, and don't worry, it will get interesting, I promise. This will be the last time I get rid of an issue like that.

I don't think just rushing into it like it is is really the way to go. If I was just seeing this RP for the first time, without posting in the interest check, I'd take one look at the IC and then never think about it again.
Well that's no fun at all; you just handwaved the problem away.

To be perfectly honest, you're kind of starting to lose my interest here.
I plan on making my first post tomorrow, but I just realized a major flaw in the current posts. How exactly did anyone in Jerusalem or Jīdū manage to translate a message that was presumably written in a language that evolved from ancient Phoenician and most likely doesn't exist in either of their worlds?
I.. Uh... Are all the IC posts going to be like that? Because I was expecting something with, I don't know, a little more depth and length to it.
How come the Greater German Reich contains Georgia and Azerbaijan on the map?
