Fine then, I'll make another post. But I have a question Sora, should there be another Princess post about her going back to her cell before I have Aethel go and visit her in her cell, or can we just say that she's already been brought back there? Because I might as well have Aethel visit her in my next post.
Not to mention that I'm pretty sure that light and maneuverable artillery hasn't been invented yet. From what I know, during the Renaissance cannons were till quite large and heavy and not easy to move around.

EDIT: And in case anyone cases I added the conversation between Golem's emissary and my River Queen to my first post.
I don't like just "fast-forwarding" through stuff, but I'm waiting for Vash to maybe make a post about him getting out of the room with Noki and the doctors. he can even notice Ana and say 'hi' or something so it's not just one line. I'm not going to go into extreme detail about Noki's operation, so that's only going to be about a single post. And actually, I have an idea, one of his assistants (the guy) can ask why there's a bunch of off-worlders on Norrux Mirugal, and it can somehow lead to Rectja.

And if all else fails, we could have a couple of Rectja's goon enter the clinic and try and get the good Doc to pay Rectja's protection fee. And then die.
Did you threaten military action? Threatening to invade someone for something can oftentimes work too you know, especially if they know you have allies.

EDIT: Unless you want to make a surprise attack.

But that brings up the question of who's going to play the Myraratur Republic during the war?
I was at least waiting for maybe a small post about Vash getting out the area where Noki is. And he and Tal could, I don't know, maybe start a conversation with the one 'nurse' that's not busy.

And has there been any word whatsoever from Pyro? Or is he just gone?
But why not try diplomacy first instead of just invading? Or did you talk to the guy running the republic before he left?

EDIT: And is there a reason you can't just trade with the Republic? Because I'm pretty sure the merchants there trade with the United Islands and Eranor, so goods would still be getting from place to place.
I have an honest question, you guys aren't just going to make war the purpose of this RP, are you?
I just feel like everyone's going overboard with the canals.

Not when it takes decades and large amounts if money and resources to build. There's a reason you didn't have a bunch of canals being built in Medieval and Renaissance Europe.

You don't need to concern yourself with the system. If I'm the only one that know how it works then there'll be less bitching and moaning and metagaming. Just play the game as you originally would have. I will be fair and consequent.A word of warning, though: war will be dangerous and possibly disastrous for both sides; both winner and loser will feel the fallout.

I'm just worried about the fact that there's a lot of variables that can go into winning or losing a war.

I will test each nation against its enemies whenever there's war. You may describe your tactics, as they'll factor in, but ultimately its the system that will decide who wins or loses. It's the only way to get a fair outcome of the situation.

Um, what exactly does the system entail?

Well if you look at the statistics mine and Titanic's military out number the Myraratur Republic, and we won't be conquering them, just forcing them into a treaty that allows free trade and a canal.

Why a canal? What purpose would that even serve? It's not that big a distance to just sail around.
