Mathew smirked at the statements of the angel. He saw nothing but naivety, his illusions of beauty and perfection had been shattered. "I am filled with pain, because I watched everything I ever loved burn. I am filled with hate, because I saw your kind turn your backs on the Hell that was forged by our human imperfections. These are the things that make me human, that make me sentient. These are the things that seperate me from you. Through perfection, you lose all life, becoming nothing but an icon. You could no more be called a thinking being than my drones." As Mathew spoke, he already turned back to his keyboard, typing away at the desk. "I will stand as the pillar to take all the pain from those you have failed. Your religion, your love, your beliefs, your faith, your power. It's all a failure, if you but look at the true pain forged by humans themselves, as you simply look on and do nothing. You are worthless even in that which you supposedly represent, too busy facing your divine opposites to look down and watch the humans sprawling like ants, working themselves to death to get out of the crossfire."

Typing into the keyboard, Mathew programmed his bots to reenter the ships, their portal matrices redirected to the large Central Matrix on the ship. A warp in space which allowed his robotic servants to move beyond the bounds of physical travel. Already his Ambassador Drones had moved into the local population, given them the tools they needed to construct a new civilization. He would rebuild their culture, their beliefs, their moral code, and their technology into a utopia. A world without crime, where they would be able to prosper without disease or horror. When the time came, a powerful Portal Matrix would be constructed, which would connect this world to the rest of the Imperium, and the trade between these groups would ensure mutual prosperity. Powerful AI systems would be set up to create a stable, objective and absolute governing authority, as well as an absolute justice system with harsh but necessary penalties.
((Goddamn it, it seems only Gummi is actually still playing here. I'll try and move the story along))
A gruff voice can be heard from the undergrowth. "You should really stop talking to yourself, woman. People will think you're crazy." a large white rabbit hops out of the bushes, giving you a surprisingly convincing glare with it's small black beady eyes. "What is it with people in this forest and talking to themselves?" Obviously both annoyed and busy, the rabbit hops onto it's business, searching the area for carrots. Other than this surprising encounter, no big, flashy or magical things outright jump out at you from anywhere, which is somehow unexpected. However, this calmness gives you a chance to properly observe your surroundings.

The trees are massive, reaching up hundreds of feet with trunks so wide you could carve a two-lane road through them, and the tree would keep standing. Like sky scrapers in their own right, a massive amount of foliage blocks out the sun and the sky completely, creating a roof formed from intertwining branches and a blanket of leaves. The area you're in would be thrown into complete darkness if it were not for the odd bulbs of luminescent plant life, seemingly hovering in mid-air, hundreds of small seemingly parasitic mushrooms growing on it's surface. They move slowly, giving an almost peaceful feeling, silently floating on their way. Long bundles of intertwined vines hang down from the great canopy, sporting a variety of fungi, some with a luminescence of their own in a variety of colors, as if shaped by the creative hand of an artist, and the very ground you're standing on is so thickly covered in roots, leaves and small plants that you can't feel the earth.

Occasionally, the large expanse is broken up by great pits in the ground, seemingly leading to an infinite black abyss shrouded in darkness. Amidst the bundles of plantlife gleaming scales of metallic materials can be seen, reflecting the lights so they almost seem to glow themselves. The smell of wet plants is overwhelming, and, indeed, small waterfalls fall along the trunks of trees, flowing into the ground and occasionally they rain down from slight holes in the canopy. Their clattering and rushing is the only sound that can be heard, and yet somehow it manages to only enhance the serene and peaceful silence. The whole place is so peaceful, one might easily fall asleep here, and you can feel even the chaotic nature of your broken soul being calmed, like a warm blanket covering your thoughts and senses.
((And from now, open-worldness. Feel free to explore this planet, travel to another, or involve yourself in the overarching plot of the Daemon.))
As the great ships arrive at the scene of the battle between mithias and Bug, thousands upon thousands of cannons are aimed at the group. Ships with faces staring out with strength and determination, their eyes glowing with green energy, the main ship topped with a giant drill, easily the size of a small island, the main ship itself the size of a small moon. It seems to ooze power, even with the massive gashes in it's great armor. Many of the ships are scanning the area, as advanced science can be seen checking the area for possible threats. All the while, the cannons remain ready to fire at the dangerous individuals floating in space, dwarfed by the fleet.

If you send Stein after me, can you send him in Kevin's direction? ^^' He's not been introduced yet, and is my strongest character (though I fear he'd still be pretty easily overwhelmed...). Also, hey Matty!

Hey Creed! It's been a while since we chatted. Sorry for the slow reply, I was posting in Rise of Deamon. I'll send Stein towards Kevin. Where is he right now?
Actually, now that I think of it, you can blame Wraith for Bob too.
God damn it now I know how Wraith felt! I'm annoyed, because it's taking her 2 days to reply to me, and I can't do anything with Matthijs so preoccupied. As such, I'm going to use Bob and Stein a bit, even though I planned on introducing them later.

Whomever gets Stein, just blame Wraith.

*cracks knuckles* Ok. Now to get to some epic writing.

We've been waiting an hour on this. I was expecting it about 12 hours ago. It better be good.

I feel like making a little vampire girl who is pretty much insane. Like having one side that's normal, then sometimes she snaps into 'ancient mystical girl of knowledge' or something...Is that weird?Hmm....I guess I have done weirder though...

You should, it might get you back into posting.
The woman reaches out with two fingers. "Just hold still for a moment." As she touches you, her power flows into you. You can feel it entering the hole in your soul, as it fills you, the power of life covering your soul. Then, even as life evolves and mutates, the goddess moves her fingers, and with a sudden jerk, everything goes black. Within your brain, your memory banks alter, switching, destroying themselves and regrowing Within mere moments of the process being initiated, every memory of the event that had just passed is removed physically from your brain cells, replaced with memories of sitting in a forest, completely out of sync with the rest of your mind, The woman moves away, and as you find yourself suddenly without any memory of what you've been doing, the women and men disappear.
((Sorry for the ridiculously late post, I'll try and post more often on this thread.))
As the lab doors opened, a variety of large green cylinders were revealed. Each of them was filled with a mysterious liquid, and a shadowy form could be seen floating within each cylinder. It was a vision from a bad sci-fi movie, each of the bodies hooked up to hundreds of wires and cables, kept in stasis. They were silent, their eyes closed, mute, as if dead. And yet, in each of them was life, as could be seen by the rising and falling of their chests. Each of them was Mithias, in varying stages from birth to adulthood, replicated from brain tissue and stem cells, vat-grown for BioPILOT's unknowable reasons. Before him, arrayed neatly and sorted chronologically, was Mithias's entire lifespan, before and after vampirism.
As the grat mechanical mind of BioPILOT recieved these psychic messages sent by Martin, suddenly, something odd happened. As Martin sent them, almost instantly, the great light flared up brightly. Over the barrier of space, a beam of bright light struck through him, screams manifesting, tearing at him as a thundering voice droned into his mind. "SECURITY BREACH DETECTED. MAXIMUM SECURITY ACTIVATED." This message was no physical one, as somehow the artificial mind dug it's nails into Martin's brain, which had never recieved a psychic attack before, hundreds of screaming voices tearing away at his psyche, his memories, all that made him who he was, as BioPILOT struck the threat with everything it had.

"Project Michaels breached, preparing activation of Project Michael. Preparing activation of Project Armegeddon. Activating Project Resurrection. Target identified: Martin, associates identified: Mithias [Terebithia Command], Magnus [Primary Target, Vampire Command], Rhyss [Pawn]." The many preparations that had been made for a plan foiled by the act of a single man whirred into action, as the Terebithia employed weaponry that nobody had even suspected it had been capable of wielding. Soon, Heaven's Greatest Weapon would be unleashed, and the world would burn.
Alarms blared across the vast scape of the flying ship. Screaming, they ripped through the metallic hallways, as a massive grinding outdid even the blaring alarms. With the screech of metal, the massive plates of armor that covered the four firing points on the Terebithia slid downwards, revealing an array of missile launchers controlled by the four combat AIs BioSOLDIER 1-4. The massive cannon on top of the moving fortress shifted into position even as the large blocks of armored missiles slid out of their holding spaces, each the size of a large house, the missiles built for warfare on a massive scale. Already, BioSOLDIER 1 through 4 were calculating targeting maneuvers for a variety of situations, based on the positions of the surrounding landscape and all available geographical information.

Like a swarm of overgrown metallic insects, the many robotic drones that made out BioHIVE swarmed around the hulking mass of the Terebithia as it sped across the landscape. Like a plague of locusts they then descended, as the people below ran, screaming. Metallic screeches tore through the air, mingling with human screams of despair pain and panic as the swarm of robotic killing machines used large claws to rip through the masses of humans. BioSWARM sat behind it all, unemotionally overseeing the massacre as blood was dutifully drained from the people and gathered, all metal objects being retrieved for the purpose of repairing any damage dealth to the Terebithia in the coming conflict. And as the swarm sped after the ship, behind them they left a field of corpses, lying lifeless and pale, their blood and life drained away as if by a horde of vampires.
