Kami was arrogant, but not stupid. Moving at the speed of light, he teleported behind the heathen before he could blink, as he hit the stranger with the full charge of his power. Millions upon millions of voilts, shooting from his fingers, and out into the air like an electric wave of destruction, the ground rapidly beginning to melt. He laughed at this surge of power through him, feeling truly like a God. He could move mountains, and rebuild the world! He could-
Kami stopped, as he crashed to the floor. His form was shattering, his power waning. He was drained. Too much power, too little control. He could hardly keep his form from collapsing entirely, as he struggled to remain standing, after having delivered all he had on the Carnage-looking man. Was this the end? Kami was having trouble thinking. Surely just using too much energy couldn't..... but he was made of energy. Of course. Crap. He felt like he was about to die, as his hand evaporated before his eyes. He tried reaching out to the power around him, but there was not enough. He'd used it all, and the breakers had activated. All power in the sector had been cut. Was he going to die here? Just from one foolish attack?
Neo! You're nowhere near Johnathan. You're in the village, I assumed. Johnathan is in a separate SOLDIER base, named the Enclave, which is a retreat in the making, where he plans to evacuate as many humans as possible.
I know. His powers are specific, and Abbadon seems like one of the better characters to face him, as he can actually cause damage to Kami, which many can't due to his energy form. However, I think that as I'm setting him up to be pretty much the big bad, so he should be fairly dangerous.
Johnathan was checking the weapons, when he heard it. Howling. The mountains filled with them the howls chasing from one peak to the next, echoing through the forest. This wasn't a wolf howl. There was one other time when he'd heard that howl, and it had been less powerful than now. The first attack. That was the howl of Darren Shan, said to be one of the oldest and most brutal vampires alive. And it looked like he had friends. This meant that the silence was broken. Grabbing his weaponry, Johnathan rushed out, as he could see the other soldiers grabbing their weapons, preparing to fight. They'd heard it too.
"Ready the fog machines! Prepare the thermal fog guns! With vampiric speed, they'll be here in minutes!" There was no time for lengthy debate or orders. Not for a vampire attack. Not with this many lives on the line. This was the retreat he'd been securing, where he planned to house as many people as possible. He could not let it fall into vampire hands, he thought, as he run up to the wall, and took his position. He could feel it in his bones. This would be a big battle.

You like eating people, eh? *shot* Okay, I'm never going there ever again. But what, does he drag the corpses off to the meat stores after class or something? Or just, take them up somewhere to feed for himself?I think I'm starting to get quite curious to how this character works. I'd ask him IC, but he'd probably either ignore Freija, or ask her to go away, or be even more eager to trap her room and- wow so saying "good luck" before every test in his class really means something.AHAHAHAHA- I love how morbid that is. "Good luck, you know, surviving." "Err...thanks."

He has a refrigerated side area in his class room with a glass wall. When a student dies, he hangs their corpse from a hook there, within plain sight of anyone in the room. He sees it as bonus motivation. After a little while, or when stocks run out, he takes the food down to his own meat locker, where he cuts up the corpse. He uses whatever parts he wants to improve his own body, and eats the rest. He also has a refrigerated chamber down there, where he can keep it.
I'd reply, but I'm waiting on Victor. It would be kind of weird for the conversation to continue without him.
I'm still deciding where to stump his growth. Kami is based on another character I had, where he really was a god, and he was able to use electrons to disable the electromagnetic fields around atoms, basically disintegrating you. Electricity control is pretty much the most powerful superpower out there. I won't let it get to that level, but he could just become really powerful, before kind of exploding.
((I woke up and it jumped from 0 to 36. Compared to that, your experience is mild. This thing didn't start, it jumpstarted.))

Jargo fell to the ground, and claimed his last breath. He died at the age of 576, making him a relatively old vampire. Dresden had respected him, and so had most of the vampires in this hall. He had followed Jargo, believing in the leader. Howevr, when Jargo had halted his war attempts, he had objected. Jargo had wanted to create peace with the humans. It had been too much. Darren had challenged Jargo to a duel, and won, claiming Jargo's Crimson Blade. He plced his foot on Jargo's head, growling, and crushed it beneath his feet, the skull collapsing inwards under the pressure. Then, Dresden turned to his comrades, covered in the man's blood, mixed with his own.
Among the crowd were his Old Bloods, those who were one with the old ways, and fought with him. There were also those who had supported Jargo, and he saw them kneel down to him. Nobody questioned his right to rule. He had killed Jargo with honor, and he was now the leader of the Pack. He saw the anticipation in the eyes of his followers, and the resignation in others. It did not matter. He would lead the Pack to glory. First, the nearby SOLDIERs, and then, he would lead his glorious army all over the Earth. Many would follow his banner, and s his army grew, he would wipe all humans from the face of the Earth, aside from those that bowed to them. They would be slaves, kept for their blood. He was not a planner, but he knew some of his men were, and he could see the glorious plac unfold in his mind, as he stood there, for all to see, splattered with spilt blood, wielding the Crimson Blade. He lifted his head, and howled with bloodlust and fury.
As if on que, his men followed, in a symphony of howls that echoed through the caves, out into the night, professing their bloodlust for the world. The ice shivered and the air froze, as more and more voices joined the choir, more and more of the vampires giving in to their primal urges. The sound shook the caves, as the many wolves of the forest took up the howl, carrying it across the valley, a thunderous roar of hatred, fury, exhaltion, and freedom. Each held the tone, the cacaphony growing greater with every second that passed, until it seemed the very walls would crash to the ground, when Darren and his warriors halted.
As one, the horde of vampires stormed from the caves, brandishing swords and axes, spears and knives, or simply their bare hands. They rushed down into the valley, wolves joining their ranks, running with them, towards their target. It would be a slaughter, and many would fall, as Darren ran at the head of the hunt, revelling in this freedom and savagerry. He felt his blood pulse through his veinst, without need for a heart, moving simply by desire to kill. The Hunt had begun.
Not noble. Practical. James doesn't do anything from the goodness of his lack of a heart. To see your friends fail and die horribly, before being eaten by the teacher, is kind of demoralizing. Many of the deaths on James' class are caused by students giving up, either in their minds, or in their hearts. In his class, talent truly doesn't matter, because those that don't try, die. Horribly. And then they're eaten. Sorry, I just really like the whole eating people thing.
((Why do you think I said he might learn to read minds? He already knows electricity is in your mind, he can feel it. He just does't have the control or skill to use it..... yet.))
Kami stiffened in fury. They sought to undermine him? To challenge him? To INSULT him? He was furious, as he instantly started charging up. he felt anger boil inside of him, and he was sure he would strike the Heathens down. Without a word, he extended his hand, and power in the entire sector went out, streams of light flowing towards him, the street exploding below, as the man electricity lines reached up towards him, feeding him power. He glowed, the air heating up, and it was like standing near a forest fire, just being near him. He kept gathering power, the amount far exceeding his control, as it struck out at nearby things at random, his body beginning to dissolve as his eyes ran out of their sockets down his shirt without him noticing. His body started rupturing under the strain, his bones becoming visible through his skin, sometimes breaking the surface, as the flesh fell from his lower jaw. His spandex didn't look nearly as silly now.
"I will burn you to ashes, you HEATHENS!" Kami's voice was distorted and slurred, his windpipe becoming blocked by his melting body. However, electricity felt no pain, so he continued drawing in power, becoming almost invisible in the fierce glow, as even the stone of the buidling began lightning up, nearby fabric instantly catching fire. Below, a large crowd had formed, some people fleeing, others staring on in amazement, others asuming it was another battle, and making their way to a spot where they could watch from safety.
