As the wolf leaped, Titan switched to fighting mode. Moving with nearly inhuman speed, he sat down on the wolf, half-crushing it under his sheer weight. Move slowly, until you get a chance to attack. Standard battle procedure for conserving energy, and taking enemies by surprise. Titan was still a warrior, after all.
