Kami was sliced in half. However, there was no blood. Simply the crackle of electricity that leaped up the cane, into Death Gazer's hand, as the blender of steel moved in on him, slicing at his flesh while he was distracted.

Titan saw the man coming at him, and turned towards him, his mouth opening, as he launched a torrent of flame at the stranger, blazing with heat and power. He would need to recharge soon, but now he really wanted to kill this man, as he charged up. He grabbed his blade, made to kill Demons, as he rushed forward at superhuman speeds, using the opening created by the flames to slice at the man.

So, an evil king rules the land, set in place by an evil organization. This king is obviously a puppet, a tool used to suppress the population for some nefarious, unknown goal. A witch has cursed the land, and the king's soldiers are keeping the people in. While other countries are reluctant to act, the people die of starvation and disease. It is time for a hero to step up.

I like the basic idea, although it needs some fleshing out.
