I was wondering, can Ed still have his automail, or some kind of real world equivalent like in Conqueror of Shambala?
They've recently developed artificial arms with feeling, allowing you to actually feel with the new arm. It would be relatively easy to make it's artifical muscles stronger than a humans, and the feeling would allow you to be able to fight withou dropping your weapon all the time. However, this is top-notch technology, and you'd have to have boatloads of cash.

Like I said in his background, he's been bound. He isn't the giant octopus guy any more. At the moment, he's basically a human with superstrength and healing magic, who thinks he's an octopus. Quite likely, he can still breathe underwater as well.
Furthermore, he's pretty much the only bad guy player. I'm expecting to face the entire party. I can be a teeny weeny bit OP, right?

Name: Akkorokamui
Age: over a billion years

Personality*: Filled with hate and resentment for humans, Akkorokamui is arrogant and brash. He is a God, and by damnit, he will get the respect he deserves!
Powers: Being huge. Akkorokamui's main body is about 50 m high, and 30 m in diameter. Each tentacle is about 60 m long, and at the base is about 5 m in diameter. For reference, an average two-storey house is about 7 m high. A human being is about 1.8 m high. So for those who haven't caugh on, he's pretty damn big in his monstrous God form. Furthermore, as a minor God, Akkorokamui is capable of granting healing and has control over many yokai and kami.
In his human form, Akkorokamui still has great strength, ripping steel apart with his bare hands, although he has lost his ability to grant miracles at a distance. He can still heal beings from nearby, however.
Race: Akkorokamui is a Yokai, a Japanese Monster with supernatural powers. He is also a Kami, which means he is a spirit being of great power.
Backstory*: Akkorokamui was a God. He was worshipped, and offerings were made to him. Fishers feared his wrath, and he was seconds only to the Eight Dragon Kings of the ocean. And then, he was forgotten. Still, prayers are said, but no longer is he treated with respect. He's become a children's story. He sends miracle after miracle, using his divine power to influence the mortals who had offered him prayers, and then that dickhead Jesus took all the credit! Enraged, Akkorokamui sent a wave of great power to Japan, his tsunami killing hundreds, as it wreaked havoc, but still people did not recognize him. As such, Akkorokamui sent another wave, larger than the first, and again, the cataclysm was horrifying. However, again, he was not recovgnized.
Growing angered, Akkorokamui traveled to the shores in person, causing a massive earthquake, tearing into the earth in his anger. However, he was faced by a powerful group of Onmyoji, called the Sekai Seki. They used hundreds of shikigami to weaken him, as he fought, ripping their paper dolls to shreds. However, the combined might of the Onmyoji was great, and they managed to seal him away within the form of their leader, who sacrificed his body and soul to become the vessel. Their number greatly depleted, Akkorokamui used his remaining strength to rip into the Onmyoji, and slaughtered them all. None remained. However, Akkorokamui is still stuch in the form of a human. That mere humans would dare do such a thing to a God!
Akkorokamui had pleaded his case before the Eight Dragon Lords, but they ignored him. They had been forgotten as well, but they still recieved some modicum of respect and prayer. They were the Lords of the Ocean, after all. Raging, Akkorokamui spoke to other creatures who had been forgotten. Fallen Gods, trickster's, escaped Shikigami.... all forms of Yokai and Kami joined his ranks. Even in human form, Akkorokamui's power was great, and he became a warlord, leading a wave of beasts to wipe out all human life on the planet, or at least send them into subservenience. Of course, groups of "good" creatures opppesed Akkorokamui, and thus, he began a war, fighting for their place in a world that left them behind.
