I believe classes are merit, indeed, which I assume means they're classed by skill instead of age. Survival Class just puts everyone in one room regardless of skill, age or ability. I don't know about Ornstein's Elite Combat Class.

Race; Chaos Aspect.
Breif race description; In a certain dimensions, emotions and thoughts combined, forming together. This is a world of dreams, where reality is unstable, Here, nightmares walk alongside erotic fantasies and ordered worlds built from half-remembered glimpses. In this dimension lives a race of beings who feed upon the emotions of the dreamers, building their domains from thoughts, memories and dreams. Some of these beings are like gods, with their own galaxy-sized domains, while others are tiny bottom feeders, feeding on background emotional energy. Sometimes, such a being leaves this unstable world, and is capable of becoming sufficiently real to enter our reality. These are the Chaos Aspects, beings of emotion. They can be nightmarish, hellish beasts that feed on fear and suffering, charmers and casanova's, devouring love and adoration, or any number of other tropes.
History; Bob is a fickle creature. He soon grew bored of his own realm, choosing to meat the dreamers in person. He did what is forbidden, and risked his life by entering the dimensional gate. Luckily, he solidified correctly, and ended up in a little medieval world of shape-shifting cat people. He became a God of Insanity and Creativity, or at least was worshipped as such, and Bob enjoyed this, spending a good 2.000 years around the planet, as it grew and matured. Eventually, the race was nearly wiped out, and on the nearly abandoned world, Bob once more grew bored. Thus, he left. Eventually, he was drafted for Excalibur, which wanted someone with his powers, and he decided to join. It looked like FUN!
Personality; Bob is fickle. He's a charmer and a killer, who would as soon put on a show for you as torture your children. He can be quite fearsome, but he does it all with a smile, taking great joy in everything he does. He greatly enjoys dance and music, and spreads them around as much as possible. To him, life is a game, and everything is simply there for his personal amusement. He thus has no problem performing horrifying atrocities if he feels like it.
Powers; Bob can destabilize reality, and make his own changes. He can make things appear, change the location of things, change his appearance, slow down movement, or create powerful beams of energy. He's nearly impossible to kill with conventional weaponry, and he can drain the emotional power of others. Furthermore, he can take control of dreams, and thus take over someone's mind.

Makes sense to me. We would just have to squeeze that into Michael's storyline. Actually, will your good character been in human form and have the ability to transform into my character's katana or is he permanently a sword?
He's a sword, but he can manifest as a human wielding the blade when necessary.
