........when killing dark maka, did you use light energy? You're kinda right about najimi being overpowered

I'd multiple times explained that the soul is the essence of being, it is effectively a being's energy source. Without the soul, nothing can live, ever. There have been a few exceptions to this rule, such as Primals and Daemon, both of whom weren't beings, but rather physical manifestations of either Multiversal or Universal concepts. However, Dark Maka was never mentioned as such an exception. The only reason I didn't hit her with the nerf bat hard enough to break the sound barrier is because Tiny was GMing at the time, and I wanted to see how he would handle it. The answer is that he tried to kill her over and over IC, and yet you kept inventing bullshit to keep her alive.

Now, I understand powergaming. I'm the dude who invented God Matt, after all. Having a character that can crush other characters is fun, in a way, and I can totally understand why you built Najimi like that. However, having a character of that power level makes it less fun for other people. Instead of a mutually enjoyable experience, it either becomes a domination on your part, or just a childish game of 'my bullshitium sword beats your indestructibilium shield', if you know what I mean. My goal is to create a roleplay that's fun for everyone, which is why I try and put everyone at more less the same power level.

Now, I'm reducing the power level of the Omegans, and hopefully the others will follow suit. That's usually how it's worked before. If you want to continue playing around with throwing planets, I suppose I could create a split, where we have two different locations. One with incredibly powerful characters, and one with less powerful ones, and the incredibly powerful characters can't get involved in the less powerful character's storylines.

Alternatively, you could nerf your characters as well. I'm open to both ideas, or any others you might have.

Aaaaand I'm back. But really, I only left because it was tiring to try and think of a way for either Creed or someone I made to get 'Bullshit Power Levels' as I like to call it. Genocide, the latest villain (or last I checked the IC that is) and his destroyer team of destruction or whatever (I got bored trying to read all of the walls of text) are a good example of this. There's no point in even trying to RP with people that seem to be trying to make Gurren Lagann's power ups seem reasonable...But since Matt's calling up another overhaul I'll check back in... For now...

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

Glad to have you back, man. If you ever have another problem like that, just say it. We can´t help you if we don´t know what´s bothering you, okay? I'd happily make some changes if you feel like it would help your roleplaying experience.

At this particular point in time, I've come to the conclusion that Planet-Busting should be removed, because it's just too damn massive. It makes people lose a sense of scale, and has a negative backlash on roleplaying quality. As such, I've reduced Toguro to around city-smashing level, more less on-level with the explosions seen in Fairy Tail, Bleach, or the other main shonen. I think I might like it a bit lower than that, but I want to leave plenty of room for people to create their characters. Furthermore, the Omegans are supposed to be on the higher end of the spectrum, as 'boss fights'.

If you want any help whatsoever in getting your character into the story, or if anything else bothers you, please tell me. Everyone would prefer it if you stuck around. Believe it or not, people around here actually like you, Hell if I know why ^^

Mithias returs from fighting the host of souls. Out of nowhere, he answers with one word, "Hope." *strikes pose*(Sorry im at work and cant write much.)

((Sorry for not replying to you earlier.))
As Mithias slashes at the host of souls, his blade seems to glance past one. The souls should have been devoured, and yet, it seems to be too solidly attached to this world. Of course, that was only possible for the souls of living beings, solidly attached to corporeal forms, which would need to be struck in order to damage the soul. But here, high in the sky, there was nothing corporeal it could be attached to, air was far too moldable to hold something as complex as a soul. So what.....

A glimpse, a flash. That was all. Had Mithias not possessed vampiric senses, it would have been impossible to see, even this slight glance. However, just for an instant, it had seemed as if the very air had reflected a ray of light. It was strange and confusing, and impossible above all. Was his opponent invisible, perhaps a swarm of invisible objects? Could it have hidden itself from his senses to make attacking it nearly impossible? Or, of course, it could just be small. Really, really, really small.

As Mithias realized it, he simultaneously realized that the slight zooming that had marked the Host's presence was not that of magical energy. it wasn't the crackling of lightning, or any form of magic at all. It was the soft humm of billions upon billions of microscopic engines, floating through the air. Nanobots, machines made so tiny, they were the perfect host for such a large amount of souls. Each was only the size of a grain of sand, nearly impossible to detect with even vampiric eyes, and even harder yet to attack physically. This wasn't some kind of mystical entity, it was the product of mad science. But whomever built this abomination would have to have access to a large number of souls, as well as being an expert on Soular Physics. It could only be......

Goddamnit. Stein did this. And he probably did it on purpose.

During this prolonged batch of thought, the pressure of intruding thoughts had been nearly constant, as the strange war machine attempted to perform it's psychic attacks. As impossible to penetrate as ever, Mtihias' mental sheilds held fast. This left both sides at an impasse, an immovable object struck by an unstoppable force. While Mithias would have a hard time harming this foe, 5 couldn't use it's main method of attack either. As such, it only logically followed that one of the two was going to have to adapt to the situation.

Billions of tiny machines formed together, miniaturised mechanisms interlocking, magnetic fields holding them in place as they formed ever more complex structures. Synthetic muscle and skin, covering a metal skeleton. A nexus of electrical impulses, mimicking the human brain, focused through soular energy. Organs replaced with energy reserves and storage areas, wiring, as well as additional stability enhancers. It was somehow both a strange and beutiful sight, seeing this recreation of the human body, as if performed by invisible hands. It became far more disturbing when Mithias realized what was truly happening. Even as the skin was molded by the muscles, and a second layer of mimicked clothing was formed outside the main body, it became increasingly obvious that Mithias was looking at a copy of himself, at least physically.

Two large wings extended from the clone's back, feathers replaced by miniature engines, propelling the structure upwards with soular energy. Long metal ribs kept them together, like the bastardized child of science and religion. A large katana formed the clone's visible arsenal, it's blade covered in intricate carvings. Soular energy crackled over it's edge, and it was clear this was more than a simple sword, honing the raw energy of soular resonance to an edge. It's stance was uncertain, it wasn't quite used to this body, perhaps. Or maybe it was simply mirroring Mithias' own current uncertainty, echoing his actions as it did his form. It's expression, however, was blank. Absolutely neutral, inhumanly so, in fact. Almost like looking into the eyes of a dead man.

Silent, for a moment, it just floated there, like a silent reflection in a still pond. Except this particular reflection had wings. And a katana. Also, it most likely wanted to kill you. So a very suspicious pond, which most likely contained illegal substances. Or Gabriel was just up to his usual shit, and had convinced some poor moron to undergo plastic surgery, just for a practical joke.

Then, Number 5 charged, shooting forward, blade raised for a clumsy overhead strike.

As the great Toguro began to overload Minx, her pained screams could be heard, as her unstable form began to bubble, and char. It was obvious who was going to loose, if things went on as they were. But of course, Minx, being the clever girl she was, had a plan. It was risky, it might lead to not only her death, but the destruction of her father...but it was the last resort, of sorts. It wasn't something she could do normally, not by a long shot. In fact, most sith, save for darkside, could do this.....She was going to recreate her organic body, from the sheer energy being forced into her.Slowly, Minx went from covering Toguro's body, to her humanoid form, as she hugs him tightly, from behind. First thing to form in her, are bones. Her screams begin to grow louder, as her body transmutes. As the bones set in, her body takes a different shape, less curved and disproportionate, to more human. Next to form, her skin, the top layer of pink goo, peeling away to bloody, disgusting, nearly liquid like paste. Next to form, her organs, making blood flow from her body's pores, as they set in. With in a minute, she goes from a gum demon, to a small, skinny older teenage girl.......before she begins to laugh, and laugh...and laugh. Darkside simply smiles, before holding a hand out, as lighting spews from Minx's back, making almost wing like structures, which flows to darkside, who in turn, directs it into the soul mass, aiming to blind side it, either destroying it then, or giving Mithias an opening. The main reason for this, though, should be obvious. Minx no longer has to be a battery for the energy she is stealing from Toguro, no, she's just a conductor, and darkside, is being a transmitter. As this happens, minxes body ages, and suffers from common problems dark force users suffer..after many many years of dark force use. Minx, she develops these problems in moments, her skin becoming pale, and grey, her body becoming frail, and weak, her mind suffering from madness.....all with in an instant.....But, possibly, she might survive...scarred, but...victorious...and with quite a few new tricks, up her sleeve/

Both of Toguro's arms extended, palms facing outwards. Then, they moved to his front, one above the other, the palms pointing at each other. Almost as if mimicking the motion, Toguro's power started twisting, turning in spirals around the group, a tornado of raw power, flowing into ever more intricate shapes even as the flow lessens. It's like comparing a sledgehammer to a scalpel, and while the first has more force, the second is far more painful.

"Number 562: Absolute Isolator."

The energy flows into a sphere around Toguro and minx, a thin shell of power. And even as this happens, the lightning simply stops. It isn't blocked, it doesn't strike a wall, it simply stops manifesting. Minx's hair slowly begins to stand on end, as the electrical charge of the air rapidly increases. It took a moment for Minx and Darkside to realize that the 'shell' that had formed around them was a vacuum, through which no electricity could flow. Normally, the lightning was created by forming a positively charged zone and a negatively charged zone, electricity would flow from positive to negative. And yet, with no possible routes to the more negatively charged zone, the charge in the bubble just kept ramping up, soon growing beyond what Minx could control.

The good news, of course, was that Toguro's power wasn't coming in nearly as hard. "Ah, that was good. Building something that complex, with this much of my power being drained? You fight well, girl. I'm on my last reserves here, this is the first time I've had this much of my energy drained in a single fight. But I think this is where our fight's going to end. With you AND the invisible fellow." Toguro's head rotated 360 degrees, coming to face Minx, even as his arms turned similarly. As a golem, forged from magically animated rock, things like 'front', and 'back' made little difference. "All I've got left is 10 percent. But all I need to kill you right now is 1. If you've got any gods you believe in, make peace with them now, girl."

The sound of Toguro's arm moving backwards was like listening to an avalanche. A grating, deep sound, like a miniature avalanche. At one percent, Toguro's strength was that of a powerful human. However, even with that little strength, the sheer weight of his fists was enough to pound anyone to a pulp. "This is the end of the line for you or me, and I'm not dying tonight."
Many millenia ago, a great battle raged between beings of great power. Each had the strength to rule the world, but neither could accept the other's existence. And yet, they were evenly matched in all elements. And as they fought, the flame of their hatred burned like a second Sun, and flames rained from the sky. And the rain of fire called to an ancient flame, that slumbered deep within the crust of the earth. It's answer tore the land asunder, great oceans boiling away, the sun blotted out by walls of smoke, as the very rain that should have relieved turn to burning acid. The world that both had sought to rule was torn apart, it's life all but annihilated under the force of the conflict. Burning in the flame of hatred, reason was the first victim, soon followed by happiness, and thereafter by all else, for the dead feel nothing.

And yet, when outlined by absolute darkness, even a small flame can burn bright. As the hate waned away to mere ashes, a light struck. Hope. Among the ashes of the world, the last few survivors looked out to the choked remains of their homeland, and they held forth their only possession. Hope. And around this core gathered the force of both deities, now repentant of their sins, and all of the woes and pains of the world were condensed. Neither deity could rule a broken world, and thus, they would create a child, born of the earth, who would rule in their steads. From Hope and Death came a new being into this world, without name, nor reason.

It is often said that greatness can be found on the edge of destruction. That the most amazing acts of selflessness occur only moments before death, and that we learn only on the brink of failure. However, the deities were not great, and it was not they who were faced with their mortality, their eyes were still clouded with arrogance. The child that was born was not one of Hope, but also not one of Hate. It was not of Light, nor of Darkness. It was the earth, the very depths of creation. And yet, it was not a child of creation, nor was it a child of balance.

This child was born from Destruction.

Toguro smiled, as he felt his essence being drawn away by his opponents. It had been an age since he had been faced with these conflicting forces of light and darkness. And yet, he was born of a force more primal than either. A force that saw no good, nor evil, no truth, and no lies. It was absolute, and it was uncaring. He was destruction, which would be visited upon all equally. He would not be stopped here, for he could not be stopped.

"1000 percent."

A massive brust of energy filled the area, as the ground cracked underfoot. An amazing gravity, only barely kept under control, as cracks covered Toguro's skin. Under the layers of condensed rock, a black core could be seen, radiating enormous power. Toguro's muffled laughter could be heard, as Minx could feel herself filled, overwhelmed, with brute force. A pillar of crackling purple light enveloped them both, and the earth shook. And the fires above would call to the fires below, and the very seas would boil over, for he was Toguro. He had taken the name from the first being that had defeated him. He had taken it from the man's corpse. He would not fall, he would not bow, he would not break. He would destroy, or be destroyed.

"Let's see how much energy it takes! You or me, girl! One of our bodies is gonna give, and we'll be broken! COME ON! Let's see how much of my power you can hold before you shatter!"
Ugh, trying to post, but I've been having a terrible cough and headache. Sorry guys, I'm feeling like crap, but I'll post tomorrow.

A word of advice to Kishin; if you don't want someone to bring something back, don't repetitively mention that one thing. Well, at least, that's my opinion on the matter. Anywho, as for me basically playing the middle man in terms of character strength, I feel some power nerfs are in order, considering a major percentage of the characters created by everyone here can wipe mine out in an instance unless I pull off some sort of bullshit maneuver to where they dodge or survive the onslaught of attacks. Personally, I also would prefer some form of revival system, instead of having most of the current characters be indestructible, immortal or whatever preferred term for their OPness when it comes to being defeated. Personally, I'd like to think my characters have a form of resistance to some attacks. My first thoughts go toward Atlus' Persona series. While your character may be resistant to fire, they'll be vulnerable to ice. Ergo, since Michael currently uses many shadow-based magic/attacks, he'd be vulnerable to light/holy magic. I'm also positive that characters have emotional weaknesses as well, aside from whether or not their damaged by a specific spell or attack. For example, a character whose loved one has been injured can be enraged to the point where they attack in a blind rage, their accuracy thrown out the window, but their attacks packing an extra punch if they were to meet their mark. Oh, and that midget cannon joke actually had me crack a smile. Nice one!

Hmm.... when I initially read your post, I instantly rejected the idea of a revival system. I've worked quite hard to stop revival from working, because if characters can just come back, then what's the point of death? There's no threat, and there's no problem in risking your life. There's no.... challenge, as such. However, after thinking for a while, I'm beginning to see how I might be able to make something like a revival system work. There would be ways to break it, of course. Ways to kill another character permanently, and death would be a pain in the ass at least. Players would be removed from the scene, and wouldn't be able to contribute to the rest of the scene. However, this would mean there would be far less need for the absurd levels of defense many players have. Characters could be risked, and fights would definitely have meaning. If I was able to set more focus on objects besides the characters, such as artifacts of power that could be stolen or NPCs that could be harmed, or even the fate of homeworlds that could be thrown out of balance

I'm adding a system like this to my list of ideas, please people give your opinions on these ideas. Making stories is hard, ask Tiny if you don't believe me, and GMing you guys is like herding cats. So I'd like all the help I can get.

About characters having specific strengths and weaknesses, that makes sense to me. If your character is a fire elemental of some kind, like Lisa was, then it wouldn't make any sense for a fireball to do nearly as much to you as a frost bolt. However, I want people to almost always be harmed by physical attacks, and I want special defenses against particular types of attacks to be limited. For example, if you're an undead and resistant to shadow magic, you can still be killed with shadow magic. It's just harder than using other magic, or big sticks. Of course, this is what I believe you meant, so I'm mainly just elaborating.

I admit you do have a point. But to be fair, limiters and dimensional locks haven't been used latelyTechnically speaking, dark maka could be killed. Think about it. Dark maka is a being of darkness that uses a mixture of soular energy and dark energy alongside her regenerative abilities. Can you tell me what her weakness would be just from that?

Unless of course, the bad guy had an ability that lowered the power level of anyone in the same dimension as they are to human level...... not to give you any ideasAlright then, consider the following; (not sure if I used the proper punctuation)there's something truly gamebreaking, the player refuses to rethink it, as this happens you haven't got on yet.Yeah we should probably enforce the whole rule of a dimension thing more. We really should.True.... genesis devourer, daemon, genocide, they posed serious threats. The daemon because they were immortal, and could only be slowed down. The genesis devourer because even if it didn't consume the entire multiverse, there would still be a good chance the girl controlling it (forgot her name) would still be able to rewrite the laws of the afterlife, and most likely things would go south from there, or the multiverse from implode. As for genocide, we all know shit will go down unless someone does something when someone is so confident in their power they make it their goal to destroy a concept. Because the multiverse is infinite, a few planets being destroyed is no big deal. But when someone tries do destroy a concept, especially a concept vital to the entire existance of the entire multiverse, you know they mean business. Or if they try to play God and rewrite the laws of the afterlife..... or the daemon.Speaking of which, no, you are not bringing back the daemon. No. Just no......no..... you are not doing that. Get the idea out of your head.

Yes, you know what was the last time I used them? Around the Daemon Story Arc, when it got to Pandora's Box. That was the last awesome arc of HCL, and one of my personal favorites, because I actually got people divided on a matter of moral perspective. There was a moral crisis, and people were taking sides. However, it was only possible because I limited the characters, and created characters like Solus, who formed a serious threat.

You know as well as I do that nobody has used divine powers in HCL in the history of EVER. The closest that it came to that is when Creed played Castiel, way back when he was pretty much the only one who watched Supernatural. Furthermore, Dark Maka had her soul, the very essence of her existence, destroyed at least twice. Both times, she managed to come back. Admit it already, that character was fueled, and revived, by Bullshit Power.

Next Post!

Forcefully powering characters down doesn't tend to work well, in my experience. I tried that with Tsubasa, way back when you guys were chasing Stein. Everyone hated the fact that their characters were 'leveled down', and I got bunches of negative feedback. Furthermore, this would not deal with players' "absolute abilities", which function regardless of power level.

Then I would prefer it if you people were to wait until I got on, or leave the matter to Tyki. I fight the guy a lot, but he's creative, and he's got the second-best Bullshit Detector in the roleplay. Knowing Tyki, he'll usually resolve the matter peacefully, at least as long as he doesn't get pissed. If neither me nor Tyki are on, refer to Tiny, my other Co-GM, for help. He's usually calmer, and he'll tell you to wait for me to appear. I'm almost sure of it. Tiny doesn't like making calls.

The reason I don't want you making these calls is quite frankly because I don't know you as well as I do Tiny and Tyki and even Wraith. You appear in stories inconsistently, and you can be a massive powergamer. You don't have Tyki's sense of balance, nor Tiny's sense of preservation and patience. I've talked to these people extensively, and I've seen both of them in action as GM in my absence. They've earned my trust in these matters. Notice how neither of them has OP characters for the purpose of dealing with bullshit in the story.

If there's a problem in the story, it's not the characters that are an issue. It's the player(s) in question. In those situation one has to talk to the players, either come to a solution, or have someone make a Call. If people don't listen to a GM or Co-GM's Call, then they're out of the story for the time being. Their characters and actions are irrelevant, it's about the story itself, which is handled by the player's words.

The Daemon, if you recall, only threatened a single universe. This was the only Universe that existed, which meant I could establish a couple of solid locations within that universe, such as Pandora's Box, the Clone Empire Home Base, the Afterworld, LON's Palace, and multiple others, like Daemon Prisons. In a Multiverse, these locations would be unfindable among infinite universes, as is our current situation.

The Genesis Devourer was a relatively quick storyline I created in order to get HCL rolling. It was a basic "big bad threatening multiverse" thing. Amusingly enough, many aspects of it inspired my current plot. Looking back, even more than even I had initially realized. The strange magick-y dude that blew up Drac's realm was supposed to be the Avatar of Balance, who had decided that the ultimate balance was absolute nonexistence. If both good and evil were completely annihilated, then there would be absolute balance in the Multiverse. He inspired the modern 'Avatars' of Omega, notably Cosmos.

Genocide..... I'm not even sure what his power is yet. I got no clue what his plan is, and I'm struggling to think of a way to make this more than just another "Oh, beat up the dude with the evil moustache" thing.

And I wouldn't bring back the Daemon, outside of the single universe setting they make no sense.

Matt, you tried to limit where we could go before, it didn't work well. I do agree with a power level nerf of sorts, I will admit. And not to be a douche...but you've been notorious for characters who were basically impossible to hit with normal attacks (Case in point with the trio of white beard, solaire, and delta's fight with Solus, a lighting based character able to zip around at nearly the speed of light, and be able to insta-comma anyone without soul based, or lighting based powers. Also, Toguro seems rather difficult to harm with physical attacks.). With me, if I give a character an immunity, it mostly comes at a cost of several weaknesses. Like for example, minx. While lighting, and physical attacks do little, fire, acid, and magic really do a number on her, and if one can get a lighting based attack without her seeing it coming, she might explode!

Actually, limiting things was one of the few ways I could get a story to work. I had to constantly invent limits in order to create story, from dimensional locks to power limiters to other bullshit, because if I didn't, some characters bullshit power solved everything instantly. The only good stories I have made were created when I added limiters, from Stein being the main baddie to Tsukune dying a hero, it was all brought to you by the power of limits. I made one massive attempt to overhaul HCL, and it failed, and I'm still sorry for that, but if it wasn't for limits, this would be little more than slapstick comedy, and to be taken about as seriously.

Dark Maka (I think that was what Kishin called it?) couldn't be killed by anything, ever, in any way. Soular attacks, lighting, fire, anything. Darkside is unkillable by anything but Soular attacks. Minx has weaknesses to fire and lightning? How? Why? That makes no sense whatsoever. Furthermore, she was hit by natsu's dragonfire when you first created her, and that did absolutely nothing. Drac was unkillable to the extent that he has a higher death rate than Darkside does, and that's impressive.

Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with hcl at the moment. The power level is fairly good. Sure there are chars that can tear apart planets. But 1. It could be worse. It could be galaxies, universes, or basic concepts. 2. Just because a char has that kind of power doesn't necessarily mean they will always use 100% of that power in battle. As for killability,, that problem only exists with toguro, cosmos, and 5. Of course there's najimi, but she's supposed to be near impossible to kill. How else can she defeat op chars besides with all her abilities(which make her near impossible to kill)? And before you bring up darkside, yes, he can die. That doesn't mean it's easy to keep it that way.Movement is where I call bullshit. Going anywhere at any time?? Maybe. But that's if you don't take dimensional locks into account. We rarely use dimensional locks anymore. On an unrelated note I just noticed I added an extra comma and an extra question mark but back to the topic at hand. Another factor is the given "rules" of a dimension. Such "rules" could not only prevent a person from portalling to another dimension, but also prevent them from using their full power, if it allows them to use any amount of their power at all. Which is also why the power level nerfing is not needed.Yes the multiverse is infinite. But the many incarnations of wankerworld wouldn't simplify it. Rather it would be just as infinite. As the incarnations are technically separate dimensions. Much like the dimensions of the multiverse. So what's stopping one incarnation from being the soul eater version of wankerworld. Or the rosario+vampire version? Or God forbid, the d.gray-man version?Midget cannon? Really? Also, don't use the word retarded. I find it offensive, and honestly I don't think it means what you think it means.

The possibility that things could be worse does in no way mean that things are not bad at the moment. That makes no sense.
A character might not always use their full power, however, that still means that they cannot be defeated by lesser characters. A weaker character cannot achieve anything, and it becomes nearly impossible to involve them in a storyline. Whenever I introduce a bad guy for a low-level good guy, someone like Darkside will simply crush them like an insect. I've tried to create worlds, factions, and stories, but I'm running out of multiverse-threatening bullshit. Anything that isn't at universe-rending levels is pretty much pointless when characters like Najimi exist.

Najimi is retardedly overpowered. The idea that she exists to deal with overpowered characters is cute, but inaccurate. If this was the case, she would not get involved with the storyline whatsoever, except to perform this function. Which would be impossible, as she is your main character. The idea of her dealing with overpowered characters is simply an excuse to have an insanely overpowered character.
Besides, if something truly is gamebreaking and the player refuses to rethink it, which happens almost never, I use Alpha to fix it.

Dimensional locks are another thing. I don't like having a power that everyone is assumed to possess, but dimensional locks are another necessity. I invented them because I needed something to keep people from just leaving any situation that became uncomfortable, but they shouldn't be a necessity for allowing the story to occur. Furthermore, the rules of a dimension? Those haven't been enforced since we left YouTube. And even then, it was done minimalistically. Hell, all universes are sufficiently identical that nobody even tracks in what universe they are. There are no locations, really, locations are determined by where the characters are standing because that's the only interesting thing about them.

Limiting it to a single world would at least give a feeling of scale. There would be individual universes, and like you said, there would be a 'Soul Eater' world, and a 'Rosario Vampire' world, however, it would still be on a single planet. No blasting off into space to go travel the universe. This means that if you deal serious damage to this planet, there is actual consequence. I can no longer have bad guys threaten the hero by blowig up towns or the like, because there's nobody anybody cares about! It used to be the Fairy Tail guild, the reason that so many things happened there was because it was practically the only place more interesting than 'some planet', other than Drac's Lair and Stein's Base.

The midget cannon was a joke. Not a serious proposition. Bob could probably make one if he wanted one, anyway.

I'm not entirely certain what your problem with the word retarded is. I'm quite fond of it myself. However, if you wish, I won't use it ^^
