Ridician's are a very defensive people, hence the giant walls mentioned before. Phading or as commoners had called it "Shadow stepping" (Which offended the Ridicians because it's filled with silver light) it's usually only used to block a hit that would normally be fatal or dodge something.

If you want to make the Ridicians more detailed, you could create a Race Sheet for them, put in some detail.

Also, I'll be replying once this argument is resolved, sorry for making you wait IC.

Aww yis, the city of "not poisoned and due to die soon", population: me.

Also, you're pretty much the only one not involved in argueing. Congratulations! You win!
If nobody posts in the next 24 hours, I'm proclaiming this to be dead.
Ah, I get the feeling. My exams are approaching, but I'm pretty relaxed about it........

It's obvious that wizard wouldn't have actually let you die, at most he'd swoop in just in time, shove his fist down your throat and pull the pill out himself.

I did quite specifically mention that the Halon Pill would first knock Hotarubi out, and then she would be saved.

To clarify a little on how the Phade works, for at a maximum of ten seconds (If he preforms the ritual) he moves to a new time frame as the level of the phade he is in is random. The ritual requires him to hold still and give up blood while asking for the gift. He can see into the Phade without much penalty on energy and no blood cost which could give him days of thinking in the matter of minutes but his body can't go with him in those cases. In his current situation he has ten seconds to get to the vial, cure himself and try to get it back. :3 Never will I let him use the ritual before fighting with another person, so he'll max out at about 2 seconds in combat and he needs time between uses.

Basically, time magic. I believe that while it's a powerful ability, it's not omnipotent, and is not overpowered. However, thank you for clarifying.

if it involves something as MAKING SOMEONE'S ELSE CHARACTER SWALLOW A DEADLY PILL then yes

I have made implicit mention multiple times of how sneaky James is, his tendency for using poison, and how ruthless he is. I even quite specifically mentioned to you that he had countermeasures in place to make sure Hotarubi appeared in the lessons. I can fully justify James being capable and willing.

Now, I agree we should do the PM system (which I'll probably be using a lot), from now on, and the Co-GM/GM in question can rule whether or not the attempted thing makes sense, possibly consulting the others through PMs.
Alright, there's no mention of any resistance to poison, Saminjutsu, experience with poison, training in evading poison, or anything of the sort in Hotarubi's CS. If she was a ninja, it might make sense, but Samurai are warriors who live by a VERY strict code of honor (Bushido). The don't do poison, and as such have little experience with it. I see no reason Hotarubi should have this skill mentioned in either her CS, or her posts.
Looks my timing is perfect. Great, an argument in the OOC. I'm going to go check Hotarubi's CS and posts. If there's explicit mention of this skill of deception, then I'm prepared to let it go: She has cause to doubt anything James gives her, after all. It makes sense she wouldn't trust him, and I was honestly quite surprised when she instantly downed what was quite obviously a trap.

From now on, I believe that when you're doing something stealthy that the other players don't know about, PM either Deadpixel or one of the Co-Gms. That way, we have verification that you're not just pulling crap out of your ass, and we can all get along.

I'll be going to look now, be back in a bit.
Is this dead?
