Everything was going according to plan. Cosmos smiled inhumanly widely, revealing several rows of sharp, predatory teeth. White skin glistened in the moonlight, made only more apparent by the humid fog. The zealot was driven back, hopping from place to place, but he was surrounded by an army of righteous rage. Even with the power of the Flayed Ones at his side, with no blood to spill, he would be unable to heal himself. And the warriors were lasting better than even he had expected, carrying themselves with the pride of a simple-minded fool. If there truly was an afterlife, then Cosmos would pay to see the expressions on their filthy faces when they realized, that all their petty ideals and struggles were meaningless, mere tools for his merest whim. Suddenly, a net of power seemed to be cast over the entire area, hundreds of limiters of varying types forming. Out of nowhere, Cosmos found his power faltering, as all magical energy was suppressed. He wobbled in the air, only barely suppressing an exclamation of surprise as the area was filled with a small army of warriors of all types. Then, like a rock, he crashed from the sky, plunging through layers of fog,a bright white comet hitting the water with an explosive splash. The downside of magic, was that he had never really learned to use his wings. Wet and filthy, the proud dragon-like humanoid stood up, wings stretching and shaking off the mud and leeches that had instantly attempted to feed off of him. He could feel the limiters crushing him downwards, suppressing his vast array of magical power, and it was only because of this inconvenience that he did not instantly incinerate this entire village. He was barely able to hold himself up over the water, as he probed the limiters for weaknesses, finding the string that would unravel the enchantment. As the witch stepped from her portal, he turned towards her with a glare he hadn't mustered in a long time. "You arrogant bitch. You would dare make a fool out of me? I will rip your puny spells apart, and rend your soul from your body!" At least his warriors were still functioning, although he couldn't think of an easy way to turn them on this bitch. But, lo and behold, a woman stepped out, speaking in a foreign language. Cosmos didn't have a clue what she was saying, but the meaning was clear. Who was this, and what was his befouled luck that now, of all times, his army would be so easily eliminated? Rapidly, the gears in his head spun. He could negotiate with people, fool them. Perhaps he could find some way to unravel the limiters or even turn them to his advantage. Many of the creatures that had entered the scene were magical in nature, he might be able to- "FOR THE GLORY OF THE LIGHT!" Wait... what? Cosmos looked up, all his rage fading to astonishment, as he saw the angelic form rushing down towards him. Time seemed to slow down, as his vision focused on the blade now hurtling towards his chest at high speeds, runes of divine power glowing along it's sides. For just an instant, he envied Toguro's power to simply shake off any physical force. Being immune to pointy things would be quite useful in this specific situation. "What the Hell are you-" Everything seemed to go quiet, as Cosmos was impaled. The long white blade pierced his scaled hide at the top right shoulder, melting through them as if they were not there, slicing through flesh and bone, until it exited his body at his left thigh. Birhgt white light played along the edge, instantly cauterizing the wound, even as the body of the angel crashed to the ground, dead..... again. Cosmos staggered backwards, staring at the hilt of the sword, now firmly jutting out of his form. His thoughts whirled around in circles, cunning plans fading to nothing as they were smashed against the harsh face of reality. And only one thought remained. "...... Fuck." With a soft splash, Cosmos' form fell into the muddy water of the swamp, his spells fading, disappearing almost instantly below the algea-covered surface. For several moments more, almost all the assembled beings stared that the spot where there had just been an Angel and a Dragon, and now there was nothing but a ripple. It was safe to say that nobody had seen this coming.
As Leeroy walked down the hallway towards the cold, fearful presence of the girl ghost, it manifests in front of him. The black, charred holes that were all that remained of her eyes stared in his direction, as if she could still see through them. Her face was pale and drawn, and a single line of blood ran down it, from her forehead. There, her skull had been cracked open, the wound reminiscent of an axe. She reached out with a single hand, and Leeroy could feel a dark magic engulf him, the kind of magic born from emotions. A power forged from years of pain and fear, coupled with an untimely death. And then, ebbing under the surface, like the constant pulsing of a headache, was something far more unsettling. A furious rage, an inhuman bloodlust, reaching across the barrier of time to rip at Leeroy's soul. Even as he staggered backwards, assaulted with this barrage of raw emotional power, he could feel his arms and legs beginning to stiffen. Voices whispered in his ears, the harsh tones of a man, shouting. A loud bang, and the screams of a little girl. All distant, as if on the other end of a long tunnel, echoes of the past. A burning sensation, growing steadily stronger, even as his vision grew blurry. His eyes burned, the pain growing with every second, mounting as the girl simply looked at him. And behind her, slowly shuffling forward in the shadows of the green light, a black silhouette, looming impossibly high. The grating of a rusty axe over the metal floor, and a man's voice, saying words that he couldn't quite understand. And yet, even as Leeroy prepared to enact whatever plan he had, he could feel the cold hands of death grasping him around the throat, the marks already forming. He would only have one chance.

Mia frowned, as fireballs and sentient swords flew across her main control chamber. An unlucky zombie servant was struck, briefly lighting up, before being reduced to a mere pile of ash. The smell of melting metal and and rotten flesh filled the room, as Kevin and creed finally calmed down. "I would APPRECIATE it if you kept my living room in one piece. I'd kill you for that, but I need you right now, so either stop breaking things or I'll start removing body parts." Two vector arrows manifested on the ground, one for each of the combatants, launching them at opposite ends of the room. She then turns back to Asura and Teo, sighing. "I would like to remind you that 5 is a powerful soular manipulator, with the capability to adapt it's soular wavelength to that of other people" With a flick of her wrist, a long tendril of black blood erupts from her palm, piercing the head of one of the robotic butlers. "Pumping large amounts of Soular energy into it would be a great way to get all of you killed, and it's exactly what I would be doing, besides that I currently have the intention of stopping this thing. And if you people are planning on dying instantly, I might as well break you down into zombies, and see whether you'll be useful then." Even as she speaks, a large metal door opens, revealing a large, dark room illuminated only by a single, flickering light. In the center was a metal table, with barbed wire straps, coated in dark brown blood. It was modeled after her father's first dissection room, a place of many childhood memories.
> I nerfed te mind control /reading into resistance ,but I gave myself the ability to know when he is being watched,nd made my emotions influenced by the people around me Alright, fine by me. Is his ability to sense whether he is being watched limited to sentient beings? Does it apply to all senses, or only visual? Can he sense when he's being smelled, or heard, or when someone is sensing his soul/aura? Can he tell where the person he's sensing this from is, who it is, or just that it's happening?
This confuses me. It seems as if this school has seperate courses for heroes and villains? Is there a school program for how to rule the world?
In most schools, it would have been strange to see an 8-year-old applying for the sophomore year. It would have drawn looks, started rumors, and it certainly would have had more of an impact than it did here. But then again, SUPER High wasn't like most other schools. The students here had seen far stranger things, and would see stranger things yet, as they explored a world of mysterious powers, both magical and genetic. As it was, people hardly gave the child a second glance, bustling along on their own business. The child in question was Sarah, for the moment at least. It had been the name of a child in a small village, irrelevant in any way. Most likely, that child would grow up to live an average life, and die an average death. However, Sarah had seen a strange thing in her youth, a mysterious creature of slime and blade, wild and furious. However, instead of screaming and running, as most children would have done, Sarah had simply stood there, and stared. It had probably been shock. Potentially, the child simply hadn't understood what it was seeing. But to such a creature, it had meant something, at least. As such, for now, it would be Sarah, the girl that had watched. The girl that hadn't been killed. Sarah was lost in thought, as she walked into the Auditorium. Automatically, her nose seperated and identified the scents of the students. She could hear their heartbeats, their merest breaths, and located them with ease. They clumped together in small groups, talking among themselves about classes, gossip, and whatever hobby they might be interested in. To Sarah, it would all be new. She had been briefed on the concept of a school, a place where she would come to learn how, and why, to use her unique capabilities. It would be a place with people like her, to an extent, humans with powers and abilities. She'd certainly fit in better here than she would anywhere else. Sitting down far from anyone else, Sarah silently observed the rest of the students, as they mingled and talked and worried and thought. Each was so preoccupied with their own business, either grand or small, some planning and scheming, others simply living in the moment. It was a plethora of activity, all only slightly interlinked, and the sight of it slightly scared Sarah. She had never seen this many people in a single room together, packed so densely on top of each other. And yet, not a single hostile act could be seen, no shooting, no loud shouts or screams for help. It was, in her inexperienced mind, a bit of a contradiction. For good or ill, she was part of this group now. It would be new and scary, but maybe, just maybe, she'd be able to figure out who - and what - she was, in this strange place.
Teo, I like the new character, but I'm going to state that you can't have immunity to mind reading/control as well as immunity to soul destruction, as both of those are powerful immunities. Pick one, and nerf the other to a resistance at best. Other than that, I like the fact that Cartoonium is no longer indestructible, and that his cartoon physics thing takes power, meaning that after a while he could be killed through purely physical means. He'll be able to ignore blows for a bit, but ten minutes of hammering could wear him out.
Name: Alexander, Joe, Sapphire, Sarah, Jack..... It varies. Generally referred to as 'The Exception' Age: 3 months School Grade: Sophomore. Gender: It varies Hero/Villain: Villain (kinda) Power(s)/Skills: [Slime Form] The Exception is formed from sentient slime, effectively. An amalgamation of single-celled creatures far more complex than common bacteria, functioning through a single hive mind. It is capable of taking any shape, fitting through narrow cracks, and invading even 'airtight' containers if necessary. Furthermore, due to it's composition, it possesses no vital organs, or organs of any description, and the only known way to kill it would be to destroy every single-celled creature that composes The Exception. For this reason, The Exception has a fear of fire, as fire is one of the few things that could kill it. [Cellular Alteration] The Exception exerts direct control over her body on a cellular level. Each cell is like a stem cell, capable of forming into a variety of specialized cells at a mere moment's notice. They can change in color, hardness, and perform a variety of tasks. Muscles can spontaneously form, and The Exception has recently learned to create an organ similar to the human throat, allowing for speech. Due to this, The Exception can take on human form, even a variety of human forms, and create highly advanced muscle tissue. [Improved Body] It's common knowledge that our bodies are faulty. Out of some instinctive understanding of cellular biology, The Exception creates a custom designed version of the human body, with a far more efficient energy gain rate. It doesn't require sleep, and is far faster and stronger than any human being. It has highly advanced senses, similar to those found in animals around the planet. It's sense of smell alone was calculated to be more than 200x as good as that of a human. It also doesn't feel pain unless it desires to, and is immune to almost any poison designed to affect more conventional lifeforms. [Hive Mind] The Exception's hive mind is beyond that of a biological hive mind, as seen among creatures such as ants. Instead, each individual cell has a tiny psychic capacity, creating an interlocking network of psychic communication. it's sentience is derived from this instant communication, and a skilled psychic might be able to disrupt this network, severely crippling The Exception. The Exception can be sensed by psychics, but cannot communicate psychically with other organic beings. [Acidic Touch] Through manipulation of chemicals and electrons, it's possible for The Exception's cells to break down organic matter, 'eating' it. This provides a high quantity of energy, functioning far more efficiently than the human metabolism. The harder the substance is, the longer it takes to break down, and things such as glass would take weeks to destroy. Human tissue, however, boils away quite rapidly, although this isn't The Exception's preferred method of attack. It has expressed particular likes and dislikes in food, leading people to believe it is capable of 'taste'. Equipment: The Exception can transform it's own body into almost any tool that would be necessary. Personality; The Exception is confused and easily frightened. When scared, it becomes far more aggressive. Conversations have shown that it's unsure about it's gender identity, species identity, and it's motivations. It expresses curiosity towards it's own origins, and seems to be seeking a place in the world. However, one must never forget that The Exception possesses no human empathy, and as such has no direct objection to slaughtering humans. It expresses no regret over the lives it has already taken, and has candidly stated that if it is threatened, it may kill more people. History: Nobody knows how The Exception came into beings. Some believe that it was genetically engineered to be a weapon of war, others think that it was created by a mishap of superpowers. Regardless of what created it, however, we know it started 3 months ago, in a small village. When the local police saw the strange slime creature attempt it's first transformation into human form, it rapidly escalated into a firefight. The Exception, feeling threatened, slaughtered almost the entire village, leaving alive only those who clearly showed no violent tendencies, such as small children and those that hid. In total, 13 people were brutally murdered. After being discovered, the authorities behind SUPER High School managed to calm down the Exception with use of psychics. It was found to be inhuman, as well as responsible for the slaughter, and admitted to such. The option of destroying it was discussed, but it was unknown how much force would be necessary to permanently kill it, and how many lives would be lost in the process. Instead, they chose to attempt to integrate The Exception into human society, placing it in the Sophomore section of SUPER High School, with regular counseling. It was a risk, but the data that could be revealed from studying the Exception could lead to massive leaps in biological sciences, including medicine. Appearance: Either a large pool of slime (varying colors) or any human it feels like imitating. It shows a preference for imitating human beings it likes, which is mildly creepy to said humans. Other: Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.
Posted a CS for Gabriel, might bring Johnathan or Onikage into this as well. Not so sure about Stein.
