Just a random guy, doing random things. Main RP: Hell's Coffee Lounge Current RPs change often enough that it's too much effort keeping a list of them updated.

I second that.
Name: Jacky Miles Alias: Annihilation Age: 8 Gender: Male Allignment: Freedom Fighters. Powers: jacky was a meta who broke. While most metas manipulate energy in line with their own respective capabilities, Jacky functions as a closed loop. He absorbs energy constantly, but it doesn't release. It builds up inside of him, until it reaches a critical threshold of sheer potential energy, and is released in a single burst of pyrokinetic power. He is capable of directing these bursts of power, to an extent, creating waves of immense force. These pyrokinetic explosions are capable of leveling entire city blocks, melting through metal, steel and armoured glass without exception. However, his powers are wildly unstable, and, coupled with his condition, this makes him a double-edged blade. Personality: At the age of 4, Jacky was diagnosed with extreme autism. He doesn't understand other people easily, and isn't capable of comprehending many things that are obvious to others. He has a severe learning disability, and is incapable of properly communicating with people. He has no real control over his emotions, although he realizes the danger he poses to other people. While incapable of properly expressing himself, Jacky experiences the world in a unique way. The only thing that really calms Jacky down is puzzles, which is why he always carries a rubiks cube. History: Throughout his childhood, the symptom's of Jacky's autism were clear. He didn't learn to walk or speak properly, and he didn't interact well with other children. He had fits of emotion, and was always fiddling with his surroundings. The diagnosis came as no surprise to his parents, who devoted themselves to attempting to find a cure to Jacky's condition, or at the very least to attempt to understand him better. They went from psychiatrist to psychiatrist, using expensive experimental treatments and the most advanced medical and psychological help they could afford. Nobody knows if it was the treatment that triggered Jacky's Awakening as a meta, or whether it had been inevitable from the start. However, during a talk with a kindly therapist, he threw a fit of emotion. And exploded. A violent discharge of energy ripped through the building, as a field of plasma and burning light scorched away all life in a 2 kilometer radius. Hundreds of lives wiped out in the blink of an eye, buildings reduced to volcanic rubble, streams of lava running through what used to be streets. Had the event taken place in the main city, it would have been a catastrophe of global importance. As it was, a relatively small town was wiped off the map. It was soon after the explosion that Helios forces found Jacky, playing with a piece of volcanic rock. Streams of lava flowed around his ankles, having scorched the clothes from his body, but not harming him in the least. No matter what heat he was exposed to, nothing would even phase him. They took him for further testing, attempting to harness the sheer destructive potential he showed. Tests were performed, and like before, it went wrong. He was recovered by the Freedom Fighters from the wreckage of the Helios base after two years of captivity. he was taken in, and cared for. The Freedom Fighters soon learned of Jacky's fearsom power, as well as recovering everything Helios had already learned. They attempted to help him control his power, but failed to do so. Instead, he was assigned a 'Keeper', who would be responsible for preventing his emotional explosions,a dn keeping him calm. He was also fitted with a special collar that measured his blood pressure, heartrate, and other important statistics. In emergencies, it would inject him with a specialised sleeping serum, which would prevent the unexpected release of energy from destroying a Freedom Fighter base. After extensive research, and decypting the Helios files, the Freedom Fighters discovered the exact nature of Jacky's power. As he grew older, the amount of energy he gathered grew exponentially. His outbursts became more and more frequent, and no known method would be capable of halting him. Once he reached the age of twelve, he would become an uncontrollable hazard, destroying everything around him in periodic bursts. At the age of 14, his power would be sufficient to end the world, as he became the center of a never-ending supernova. The order was passed, although it was kept on a need-to-know basis. If ever Jacky was to show signs of the great surge that would transform him into an unstoppable gloabl hazard, he would be killed instantly. It would be impossible to keep him sedated constantly while his powers built up, and it would be the Keeper's responsibility to do the deed. Jacky could never have a future, for the sake of the continued existence of humanity.
Yay, new people! Hopefully we'll be able to gather a decent roster. Any idea of how many characters you'd like to have before we start?
> Name:Leo Stevington > > Age:14. billion or so, I've lost count > > Powers: Geomancy, shapeshifting, you're normal stuff. I can turn into a wyvern, where I can move slightly faster then a snail. Cucumbers are still the ultimate projectile weapon. Also, Characters are to be placed in the Characters tab, please repost this wall of text there. Just look at the raw and copy/paste it. It helps keep things orderly.
> Leeroy acted fast, for his idea requires it.... > > He had dealt with angry spirits before, including the spirit of murdered children, which sought to bring others pain..... > > And there was a single thing which seemed to help most of them, on average..... > > Leeroy used his magic disruption ability to close the short gap, keeping himself from feeling the effects of the magic for a moment...as he wrapped his arms around the girl, giving her a hug. As he did, his healing power sweeps over her, the feeling of peace, calm...serenity, sweeping over her as well. The pain...the misery....all seeming to wish to just...melt away, under the effects of the healing wave....or, Leeroy severely hoped this was the case, like the other spirits he had encountered. The cold seemed to bite deep into his arms, as if he had wrapped them around a remotely human-shaped icicle. And yet, even as Leeroy filled the figure he held with peace and happiness, he could feel the cold abating. The dark power gripping him seemed to fade, the fiery pain in his eyes disappearing with it. After mere moments, he could feel a steady warmth emanating from the surprisingly physical form he held, the soft sounds of crying replacing the icy buzz. As he finally figured he wasn't about to die, and looked down, the girl he looked at was both different and the same. Her dress, although the same, was no longer the stained, muted grey it had previously been, instead revealing itself as a beautiful shade of velvet blue. Her skin was a healthy pink, and a pair of bright blue eyes stared up at the sentient plant, tears running freely down her face. What had previously been a visage of fear, had turned into a memory of better times. Softly, she spoke, and it took Leeroy a moment to realize what she had said. "Please help me." A rush of boiling rage covered him, ripping at his senses, as the room deformed and twisted, the lights shattering. In the darkness, all that he saw was two points of bright red, an infinitely large figure, looming into the heavens. A slight reflection off of the blade of an axe, already in mid-swing, Leeroy staggers back, the floor unsteady beneath his feet, the familiar scent of whet leaves filling his nose, his mind seized by unreasonable fear. "You won't get away, you bitch!" A high-pitched scream echoed through the hallways, until it was suddenly silenced. A heavy slice, as metal cut deep into wood. Crying, whispering, talking voices. And then, as the light slowly flickers back to life, the deed has already been done. In the darkness, a silhouette lies still, a single wooden hand entering the pool of green light, it's bark grey and withered.
The woman called Captain walked in, Sarah had overheard her name being spoken by other students. She was clearly in charge, you could tell from the authority she demanded from the other students. Her method of walking was different in every way, her movements fine-tuned not to waste any energy, like the graceful steps of a predator. It was rather impressive to see, and Sarah made a mental note that this woman would most likely be exceedingly hard to kill, should it ever become necessary. Then again, a part of her wanted to walk up there right now, claws at the ready, and find out why that movement was so impressive. She could recognize the danger instinctively, but she didn't know what it meant, or how such motions had been honed by years of training and experience.\ 'welcome to SUPER High' A number of snickers resounded across the room, although Sarah didn't really understand what had been funny. In fact, the entire concept of humor eluded her. She'd have to look into that, it certainly seemed like people who laughed enjoyed it, and she had heard multiple people state that laughing was somehow healthy. Most of the woman's speech only served to confuse Sarah more. Although she liked the sound of Physical anything - she was confident in her capabilities in any physical subject - she wasn't entirely sure what a dorm was, nor what she would do with one. Perhaps it was something you needed for the Physical things? The woman stated that questions could be asked, but Sarah didn't want to speak out in the silence that followed, she hated to admit weakness, especially when she was feeling so vulnerable. She would simply follow the other students, and hopefully she'd figure out what to do. Sarah frowned and sighed. This whole student thing was a pain.
Damn, is Captain the only teacher? I assume the sophomores, seniors etc. are all placed in separate groups?
> Oh common. Afford me some license. He cast a bunch of powerful magic to raise the dead, those that Bloodseeker killed, in this particular area. Are you telling me he specifically, individually raised each one? I just assumed it was an obvious AOE affect, and that he had completely forgotten, or not though about, that Eclipse would be included. Actually, I stated in the post that he specifically made a deal with each of them, while pretending to be a forest deity, as he would need their consent to cast the spell. It's happened now, so it's canon, but for the record, the spell shouldn't have done that. Apparently, there was a fluke.
Right, I'm all for expansion in narratives. I think ima make two diametrically opposed characters, and see what happens. Although it seems this isn't getting the attention it deserves, which I think is a shame.
Name: Mia Gorgon Age: 17 Powers: [Black Blood] At birth, Mia was injected with the symbiotic Black Blood. This particular form of Black Blood did not have it's own consciousness, but rather melded with her mind, and she can control it at will. It functions as normal blood, besides that she exerts a telepathic control over it, and that it can harden to a state where it is harder than steel. It also serves as a conductor for her soular powers (see below). Her range of control is approximately 500 meters, but she can sense her Black Blood from across dimensions. [Soular Manipulation] While not an expert at the art, Mia is capable of using her Soul as a weapon. Her soul resonates with the soular energy of her victim, creating a charge that rips at the victim's soul. This has direct ramifications on their body, dealing damage to their internal organs, and affects even beings immune to most physical harm. This act usually requires physical contact, but Mia can transfer her Soular Energy along her Black Blood (see above). Uniquely among users of Soular Power, she draws power from the pain of others, and can resonate with those in agony to increase the power of her Soular attacks. [Witchcraft] Due to her heritage, Mia is capable of basic witchcraft. She specialises in the art of Vector Arrows, which create an image of an arrow on any surface, and then rapidly accelerate any object above the arrow in the arrow's direction. This technique has been known to be used both to repel her enemies and to empower her own attacks, but she prefers to use it to manipulate others. She can also create snake-like apparitions, to act as spies for her, but they're easily destroyed. Appearance: Thin and pale, Mia is relatively short. Her hair is long and black, her eyes a bright green. She always seems to wear make-up, although nobody knows when she finds the time to apply it, or how it survives combat experiences. Her lipstick is bright red, and her nails are painted the same colour. She usually wears a long black dress, but in combat situation has been seen attired in an armour formed from Black Blood, or using a simple black jumpsuit. History: Mia is the daughter of Stein Franken and Medusa Gorgon, the most powerful Meister and one of the most dangerous Witches. She inherited dangerous abilities from both, but grew a malicious, sadistic will of her own. She grew up alongside Stein, after her parents separated, and learned the art of dissection. She became both a sadist and a masochist, worshipping pain in it's purest form, and there is no greater expert on torture in the entirety of the Multiverse. Through tactical manipulation of her enemies, and a reputation as a fate far worse than death, she forged an empirium of agony for herself. As of yet, no heroic figure has managed to defeat her and bring it down, and few even dare try. Theme Song: Disturbed - Down with the Sickness.
