There was a door in the way. Doors were bad when they were closed, annoyingly big and shiny. It just stood there, gloating, as Mia glanced around the room, searching for another method to reach her prey. She could hear it, the beating of tiny little hearts, some courageous, some scared out their minds! It was a beautiful little symphony of mice, all singing a different tone, like a strawberry shortcake made of sound. To Mia, there was nothing better in the world. Well, maybe eating those hearts was. What's the point of cake if you don't eat it, after all? With an echoing bang, her fist slammed into the steel door. She growled, her nails sinking into the metal. An ear-piercing screech could be heard as she slowly dragged them down, leaving scar-like grooves in the metal surface. An automated message played, but she already knew what it was going to say. She'd been listening to it forever and ever and ever! How long had she been stuck in this room anyway? How much longer would it take? How tough was this door going to be? Banging and banging and banging. The door dented further and further, the explosive boom! Boom! Boom! echoing far and wide. It wouldn't take long, she'd get through. No wall would stop her forever, no door would gloat at her and get away with it! With each strike she became more enraged, slicing and slamming, as the automated message played in the background. This door was everything she hated, it was the people with the guns, the man in the microphone, it was the people in the suits! Every time she came down here, she was kept on a leash, like a dog. She'd rip through this door, and rip them all apart! On a table in the middle of the room stood a large pair of shackles, with automatic clamps. A monotone voice still spoke, as a silent alarm came on in the viewing chamber. 'Please put on the restricting gear. The door will not open until you wear the shackles. If you wear the shackles, you will be permitted into the next area. Please put on the restricting gear...'

This is pretty much stuck. It'd be nice if things happened, and this didn't just die, but it looks like it will.
Well, I'm pretty much stuck until Makarov decides to reappear. If he doesn't reply today, I'm just going to move on without him. Also, DJ, my char sent you a message. He wanted to go raid a Terrorist base, and invited you along.
> So essentially, the only char I can use is asura until I add more chars to the cs tag. Which probably won't be anytime soon. > > Either you forgot since it's such a long time, you haven't figured it out already, or some other reason. But how did you NOT know kaos had that foresight ability? She's the hekate sister of prophecy. Prophecy essentially means prediction. Prediction meaning seeing into the future to some extent. Again, you probably forgot, but still. How? > > And don't talk to me about how you were lenient. Last time I checked, you had made a char with foresight. The only thing his foresight couldn't take into account? His goddamn foresight. You essentially made a char no one could defeat, because he already knew what was gonna happen, and set traps based on his predictions. Essentially, he was char who had an ability that gave you a way of making any attempt at stopping him fucking worthless. Admit it. You know I'm right. > > And DO NOT get me started on the genesis devourer thing. Specifically, the judge. He started out pretty damnable tough, what with his powers being amplified by soular energy and magic runes. Don't get me wrong, I didn't have that much of a problem. Compared to mister bullshit futuresight guy, he was a fairly reasonable character. But then you had to give him the ability to boost his power further by channeling the void itself. Needless to say, I was pretty fucking...... I don't even know HOW I felt about it. The judge was challenging enough without that little ability. Not only was it bullshit, it was.......why? Why would the judge, a life and death mage who was plenty powerful enough, need that ability. Just why? > > Arcus..... to be honest he really wasn't all that bad......if anything, he was just annoying. > > That one char, who's name I have totally forgotten, hate was it? Either way, holy shit. You say dark maka has trouble staying dead. You obviously don't remember how many times you brought hate back from the dead. Even when her soul was destroyed. Which apparently, was because only part of her soul was destroyed. > > Now I know I sound angry. Believe me, I'm kinda pissed at the moment. Those chars I brought up (excluding arcus and hate because let's face it. Arcus is just plain annoying, and hate just got old fast) are the only chars I loathe (besides tyki's permanerf char). Mainly because they're overkill. Yes, I have had a few OP chars myself. But so far, no one has had to defeat them in order to save the multiverse. Speaking of which, you said my actions would've disrupted the story. Newsflash, not everything goes according to plan. Besides, isn't the whole goal to save the multiverse? Wouldn't kaos' actions have helped out quite a bit, thus bringing the group closer to achieving that goal? No I'm not justifying anything. In fact, I kind of agree. Mainly in terms of the explaining. Not so much for everything else. But to be honest, the eve hekate thing was kind of intended to be a deus ex machina. > > Look. All I'm trying to say is that yes, I can go a little overboard. Yes, I admit some of my chars can be overpowered. And yes, I'm well aware of that. But keep in mind, you've done some of the same stuff from time to time. I'm not saying I have a problem with how you do things......well okay sort of. But that's beside the point. > > I can honestly say that when someone did something gamebreaking or something like that, you were usually the first to point that out. I'm just doing the same > > I'm not saying that bringing in chars like the ones I talked about make you a bad gm. You're a great gm. The point I'm trying to make is yes, you do need to improve. At least in the "making characters that aren't so overpowered" department. Overpowered chars, up until a certain point, aren't all that bad. Just really, really hard to kill. > > So yeah, just some stuff I needed to just get out there y'know? And for the record, I was talking about ME being stubborn. Not you. Just to clear things up > > Rant over. Plus that has got to be most I've said so far..... Whether it's soon or not is your choice. You have complete control over that aspect. I just know that apparently your characters keep popping up with powers I was unaware of, and I'd like to have them cemented down. If there is a CS, then I'll be able to read it over, judge what they can do, and act appropriately. Are you really comparing your characters to Big Bads? The Big Bad will always be more dangerous than you are, by definition. When I create a villain who's about to cause serious damage, you guys have to work together to stop him. If I created villains with power levels equal to yours, that villain would be crushed in no time. Even in villains intended for 1v1 combat, I usually make them more powerful than you, if only slightly, because the odds need to be stacked against the heroes. However, here's the thing you don't seem to understand. This isn't a competition, I'm not a player. These Big Bads are instruments to create a story, they serve as an overarching threat, and something you can easily punch in the face. Having a Big Bad is the easiest way of creating a story, it practically creates itself. Bad guy that way, go punch him. And then I can form more plot around that core, adding in motivations, actions and effects. All they're here for is to allow me to allow you to have fun. I've already had this rant, about how my end goal is you guys having fun. I have no intent of repeating myself, nor do I honestly think it's necessary. I believe you know perfectly well that I'm not trying to kill your characters, and that regulating the plot is the GM's job. If you want to take over, take over, but don't just make my job harder, okay? That said, I'll say to you the same thing I said to Tyki. Create an rp. Go out there, and create a topic. Could be anything, from space ninjas to giant monsters. It could be a combination of both. Let your creativity take control, and try building something. I think that you'd enjoy it, and that it could be an educational experience.
Kishin, OOC in the OOC. Also, stubborn has nothing to do with it. This is me, as the GM, stating that your actions disrupt the game. First off, none of the Hekate sisters have foresight. I've seen their character sheets on previous roleplays, I've seen you make them. They cannot, in fact, see the future, in any way. If this is something you added to make your already too powerful characters more powerful, then I'm going to have to have them go through the evaluation process. Post character sheets in the character tab, and I will judge whether they are overpowered or not. From this point on, any of your characters whom's CS's have not been placed in the Characters tab will not exist within the game world. I hate to enforce this, but I've already been highly lenient with your abilities. I will personally copy Asura's CS into the Characters tab, the rest is your problem. Other characters, such as Bug, are encouraged to have a CS in the Characters tab as well. I'm not going to enforce it until I feel it's necessary, but I would like it. It makes my life easier. My goal as a GM is to ensure that my players have a good time, and the medium I use to do this is story. If you're going to break my story, then you're hindering my ability to do my job. If you think you can make the calls better than I can, feel free to take my place and try YOUR hand at GMing, in fact I would encourage you to try GMing your own game. But I can't have you breaking shit for others.
> well, can i take a chunk off with my hammer, and if not,i dont think a death ray would stop togy(and I dont trust acme crates, remeber what happend to Wily) Toguro is highly resistant to Kinetic and Soular attacks, which is why your hammer wasn't as effective as it would otherwise have been. The best weapons against him are energy weapons.
Glad to hear it ^^
> hey wiz,can you tell me when i can finish with the Soul leeching tech,i dont wanna be too op by just going in and out Well, the problem is that it's dependent on Kishin blowing up 5, which never occurred. I made a GM call, and removed that action from existence. Instead, Kaos is lying on the ground in the snow somewhere in the distance. However, what I'd totally allow, would be you just making a massive Laser. As you have cartoon powers, you could summon an ACME crate containing parts for a death ray.
White light, green light, blue light, breadlight. This caused a moment's hesitation. Was bread a color? And yet, the light had already started fading, along with the numbness. Spinning through a whirlwind of whispers, jumping from word to word, large holes reaching down, ripping pages from the book.... ------------------ Mithias stood in a long hallway, carved from ornate wood. The walls were lined with runes drawn in blood, still fresh, dripping slowly downwards. From the corner of his eye, he could see corpses, intimately familiar and yet ultimately unrecognizable. And yet, they never seemed to leave his peripheral vision, never existing when he looked at them straight. There were only two doors, one behind him, which stood slightly open, and the other one at the end of the corridor. In the middle was a singly window, a thick velvet curtain covering it. Steady pulses of warmth seemed to move through the room, a heartbeat in the back of his mind, as if the entire archaic mansion was alive. Standing a while ahead of him was Bug, looking around with a clear expression of confusion on his face. And yet, was it really Bug? The creature certainly looked like him, but more... insectlike, large mandibled extending from it's mouth, and a pair of antennae on it's head. Hanging from his shoulders was a chain of heads, each of them quietly whispering, almost all of them human. On the back Mia's head was visible, glaring at Mithias with an appearance similar to a pouting cat. In his right hand the Bug-creature grasped the head of a man by the hair, and his face stuck out in particular. For in stark contrast to all the others, it was still breathing raspily, as if clasping on to life. ------------------------------------------------ Bug stood in a long hallway, it's walls and floor plated steel, rust encroaching around the edges. Flickering neon lights illuminated the area, creating sharp, drawn shadows. The scent of blood and fear assaults your nose, mingled with the subtle touch of rusting metal. Chains hang down from the ceiling in pairs, the rusted cuffs broken open. Screams echo through the hallway on regular intervals, the chains rattling as they do. There are two mechanised doors, one behind you, and one in front of you. The floor seems to pulse regularly with a strange heat, as if the entire lab complex were alive. The sound of feet on metal caused Bug to turn his head. Behind him stood Mithias, or at least something that resembled Mithias. It had the face of an old man, worn by age. It was covered in what seemed to be an ancient suit of armor, rusted, battered and torn, well beyond use. In his hand he held a spear, from which hung a set of rags, which might, at some point, have been a flag. As Bug looks upon this creature, he sees that it has no eyes, simply empty holes, through which he can see nothing but emptiness.
