Just a random guy, doing random things. Main RP: Hell's Coffee Lounge Current RPs change often enough that it's too much effort keeping a list of them updated.

Vishna's power had already annihilated a square kilometer of metal tunnels and weapons, which was rapidly being filled with it's ever-expanding bulk. Drac found himself shielding his own skin with his magic, preventing his own body from falling apart on the spot. But it was clear that he was no match for the being he found himself staring at. Immense beyond compare, with the arcane power to fell entire planets. And even as he stared into that vast abyss of power, he simultaneously realized that this was only a fraction of it's true power, a tiny piece of a greater whole. A single brick, fallen from a skyscraper, as observed by an ant far below. One thing was abundantly, massively clear.

If he were to fight alone, then he would die alone.

"Seal me away?" The voice was pain, injected directly into the God's skull. As if the Daemon's thoughts were being expressed through the psychic equivalent of a gong, firing away directly into his brain. "I have spent ten thousand years imprisoned here, and you would dare to challenge me?" Explosively, the Daemon's power shifted with it's intentions, as naturally as another being might breathe. It extended the palm of one of it's many arms, and it's power focused painfully.

Drac's aura was ripped to shreds, his shield of petty magics falling before the sheer weight of the magic applied to it. Like a tsunami crashing upon the beach, tearing down stone and steel, ripping apart all that was built before the fury of nature. And even as he focused, chanelling his power to protect himself, he could feel it giving away.

Blood streamed from his ears and eyes, from under his fingernails, from every pore and hole it could find. Flesh was pulverized, organs fell to pieces. Drac's body, kept alive only by his sheer force of will for all these years, was falling apart. Convulsively, he choked, blood running from his mouth like water, as his muscles twitched and twisted, agony filling his mind. Tearing at his soul, a torrent of unending, uncaring power.

It would be but moments before there was nothing left.
Like I said, this needs to be a thing now.

The man wore a long white coat, buttoned down the middle and with the burning cross emblazoned on his chest. A chain with an additional cross had been hung around his neck, lined with long fanged teeth. His face was obscured by a deep black veil, a head-covering similar to a tiny little tent obscuring any identifiable features. But better than all his clothes he wore an aura of respect, of fear. It was in his step, and without even seeing his eyes they could be felt burning just out of sight. It was the movement of a predator about to strike, a panther circling it's prey.

Kami no Kage walked through the doors of SOLDIER HQ, flanked on each side by a SOLDIER operative. One of the few who had been granted the honour of personally guarding the High Council. He was lead through a series of corridors, twisting and turning, until eventually a great metal gate parted before him. What awaited him was a circular room, lined with large screens.

The High Council of SOLDIER had, of course, not chosen to meet with Kami no Kage. They were not fools. However, a video conference had been established, and Kami no Kage sat down at the provided chair even as the obscured faces peered from their respective screens. And then, in a monotone voice, he spoke.

"A vampire is heading towards America. He goes by the name of Void, and he is one of the most deadly oldbloods on the planet. An ancient force of pestilence who specializes not in individual combat, but the slaughter of millions. As such, I have come here to you with an offer, a treaty of sorts. You will destroy the indicated plane utilizing heat-guided missiles. If you succeed in doing such, then the Purge will disband, and all military assets will be moved to SOLDIER."

Kami no Kage's voice was straight and monotone, as it droned on. "Within 5 hours, the plane will land on American soil. Make your choice, and be ready to bear the consequences thereof. For if Void were to be unleashed, it will be the end of SOLDIER. And potentially, the end of America as a whole."
Lol, Jenkins needs to become a character now.
With the sound of screeching metal and a shower of sparks, Achilles pulled a sheet of metal away from the person, who was still barely breathing. They were unconscious, and had been cut fairly badly, but they were alive. Of course, Achilles didn't know the firs thing about first aid - all he knew was how to kill. But the comms confirmed that there were more people alive. undoubtedly, somewhere, there would be someone who knew something of first aid. he would carry this person to safety, and get them healed. Some part of him knew, of course, that this person wouldn't live much longer - most of their lower body had been lacerated by shrapnel - but with the current level of technology even such serious wounds could be healed.

Almost gingerly, the death machine took a hold of the fragile creature before him, lifting it over his shoulder. Blood trickled down his back, but he didn't mind. He used his single remaining arm to keep the being in place, as he spoke over the intercoms. "I have a wounded person here. I'm moving towards the front exit, what is the location of the medic?" If the medic was even alive, of course. He would need to find and take the shortest possible route.

As Achilles walked through the mist and rubble, he already knew that there were hostiles ahead. He didn't care much. He had lived through a thousand battles, a group of fools with weapons wasn't going to stop him. And as he emerged into the forested outside, and looked around to find beams of laser firing around him, his opinion didn't change.

The robot stood at almost twice the height of a human, 3.2 meters tall. Covered in black, chitinous plating with a glass-like substance covering it's 'eyes', the two red orbs in it's face that it used for most of it's light-based detection. As a stray beam of laser hit it's side, it didn't even flinch, as it left only a slight burn mark. Instead, he looked towards the nearest 'hostile', the medic, who had turned and was now gaping at Achilles' chest. "Out of my way."
On the subject of Lasers:

Light is invisible unless refracted. However, refracting a laser would be hard indeed. A laser is to light what a spear is to kinetic energy. More than that it's a large amount, it's concentrated and delivered in a short burst. Smoke would hardly do anything to refract it, as the wavelength is so focused.

However, a serious Laser would be visible, simply because it would superheat the air it moved through. You'd effectively see a long streak of bright yellow, kind of like a bolt of lightning. The 'thunder' in this case would be a dull whump, not as powerful as lightning but still audible.

Laser Physics for the win!
Is the entire cast of Blood Compact just going to follow me here? Lol.
Well, glad to hear it. If another 1 or 2 people join, I'll start up the IC.
Yep, accepted. If you want to have his power 'evolve', then you're going to have to run changes by me first, though. Just a quick PM will do, but I'd rather not suddenly have your character grow to Godlike levels of power.
Well, I was thinking about the obvious one where she's the only one able to breed with Werewolves?
