You see that a large clone army was behind the door. All of them approximately Drac's power level.

I think me calling bullshit here would be redundant.

* i pull out a very large knife* then stop distrusting me -_-

You can't shank someone with a knife, you shank someone with a shank.
Hello? Hello?
Why is everyone on so goddamn early?
And thus we play the waiting game.

wizzy, your last post was a little cryptic from where I read. Can you clarify a little bit clearly if he directly attacked the fort?

He erected crucifixes holding humans, and made a big horrible display. No outright attack was made.
BTW, this is a general message: If Kami gets her hands on you for extended periods of time, she will mind-rape you into submission.

His will has nothing to do with whether he joins.....
Two days had passed since the slaughter at Kilop Point. Dresden licked the air. No fear. Not yet. The humans in this fort were fat and timid, cattle waring for the slaughter. Dresden had wished to hold off on revealing his presence for some time longer, however, the more bloodthirsty among his followers wished for action now. If he waited much longer, he would lose half his Horde, and the losses would be quite devastating. Of course, he had visited nearby villages first. turning all those willing to accept Dresden as their lord. Most had recieved Old Blood from one of his greater followers. Dresden wished to breed the bloodlines back to their wilder origins. By diverting from the old ways vampires were becoming more stealthy. Who needed illusion or mist when one could tear the opponent to pieces?
There was a growl. It was ready. It was time for the siege to begin. Dresden smiled, as his vampires stepped from the trees, bearing large wooden crucifixes, upon which men, women, and children were lying. They were beyond the reach of most rifles, but Dresden had no doubt the humans would be too shocked by the display as he, too stepped from the darkness, setting himself before the row of screaming humans, their gags removed, as some form of orchestrator before a play. A master of a pack of wolves, grinning in his own hunger, his aura of fear and respect rippling through the assembled crowd. His voice was deep and clear, filled with sadistic glee, as he addressed the fort, easily carrying the long distance.
"Children of daylight, I come before you now. I am Dresden, and tonight, I declare war upon all those of you who declare themselves SOLDIER. Your fellows resisted. They are fools. Behold their fates, humans." As one, the younger, newer vampires stepped forward. This was to be their initiation, and, as they had not yet drunk, they bit into the legs and calves of the humans, tearing at the skin, gulping in the blood with savage hunger. Not a single man halted. The Vampire Blood was driving them to frenzy. Good, Old Blood, of a well-satisfied vampire. However, this was not to be the true display.
As one, once more, the vampires cut themselves, as they fed their own blood in return to the humans. And, as their blood mingled, the humans became still, their humanity slipping away. Then, as the ascent hit them, smoke rose from their bodies, as the crucifixes they were tied to burned them. Laughing, the vampires prodded the newly turned vampires with sticks, and threw buckets of holy water over them, careful not to get splashed themselves. The screams rang in the night, louder even than before, as pain unknown to humans filled the traitors. They hung there, and it simply did not stop. And Dresden enjoyed every second of it, howling as his vampires did, before retreating back into the night, leaving his grisly display to continue without him.
The vampires did not retreat far, however. Simply slightly deeper into the forests. They would return, the next nght, And the next. This was far from over.
Huge posts FTW!

And if Aki wants to become part of the church, all are welcome. And Kami would LOVE some news about Hope.
((They're more brainless servants. If Kami hadn't ordered them to eat, they'd have starved. And Kami sees Ashley less as a thorn in her side or any kind of threat as a source of amusement. Had Kami seen her as a threat, she would have made sure to employ all possible methods in wiping her out, including city-wide bombing and setting every agent at her disposal against her. No good having an enemy with access to her base.))
Kami was wearing contact lenses. Not many people knew, of course, but she had to keep up with modern technology, and glasses were simply unseemly. A small HUD, completely controlled neurologically, allowed her to track Aissyle's every movement. The hospital. Interesting. She couldn't spare Wiper, but she had a pair of Priests of Death, God's Tears' foremost excecutioners, trailing her newest arrival. She soon came to the conclusion via "anonymous" tip from a certain doctor that one of hers was asking into the patients under life support. Kami immediately figured out why. If Aissyle's soul could be transferred from his own body to Ellysia, then that made it possible it could be transferred to another body. Whereas she was unsure whether it would work, Kami quite enjoyed the idea. In fact, she'd have to find some way to research this soul transfer ability once this was all done - it seemed too useful to not be hers.
Kami gave her orders, and sat back, as she prepared her plans. She'd already contacted the government, and exerted her influence. Those who had been puppetted to oppose her had magically changed their opinions, all pretense gone. The government, after all, had been under her control since long ago. Anyone who got close to a position of power recieved a "visit" from God's Tears. In fact, they were even a part of every ceremony in court. She had for a long time enforced some modicum of order on Fear, supporting the Government and supplying them with money and soldiers. While Fear was not an ordered place, she had kept it in that perfect state of disorder and subterfuge, without complete chaos. However, now, it was time for her plans to become more...... grand.
Two Death Priests, like angels of wrath, moved through the crowd. One could not call it stealth, when streets cleared at their appearance. They stood before the hospital, and it was abandoned, patients left to die within, as all but the most devoted of doctors cowered. The men stood tall, their long black leather coats almost concealing the heavy black boots. Their faces were hidden by metal masks of human faces, utterly emotionless, shining brightly in the light, their hair cut short and tight. In a sheath at their side was a katana, said to be able to cut through steel. Standing now, in an empty street, they did not move. They did not appear to breathe, their stance like that of a predator, waiting to strike. Emblazoned upon their chest was a single red drop of blood, the symbol of God's Tears. Silently, the pair stepped forward, not a movement wasted, as the doors opened automatically before them. They approached the target, moving through the hallways, their heavy military boots clapping against the stone of the floor, the sound echoing through the abandoned building, as Death approached.
Wiper gave a slight nod. It ceased killing the demons, unless they approached to near. However, notably, neither it nor the men had flinched. Either they did not feel fear, or they could hide it perfectly. However, to those who could sense such things, their heartrates had not changed. Not that Wiper had a heartbeat, reinforcing the rumor that Wiper was, in fact, already dead, and yet had not let such a thing stop it. Implacably, the part moved onwards, as if nothing was amiss, approaching abbadon's throne, makign their way across the expanse of the Corrupted Quarter.
Standing before the throne, all but Wiper bowed. Wiper, for it's part, simply stood, offering no sign of even acknowledging Appolyon's existence. While it did seem to have a soul, Appolyon could sense that whatever Wiper was it felt..... broken. As if a human soul had been used as the chewtoy of a particularly sadistic Demon God, and then spat back out. However, from the corpses of the demons it could be seen that in no way this had limited Wiper's mysterious powers. One of the members of the party promptly stood forward to introduce himself.
"Greetings, Abbadon. My name is Johnathan, and I come here in honor of Kami." The man's expression was a friendly one, although it did not reach his eyes. From his spirit, it was obvious he was under some form of affliction. It was like his true self had been devoured, and left nothing but a hollow shell. While wholly different to Wiper, these too could hardly be called human. "I have come here to propose your continued existence. Kami has planned for a coup of the city, and offers for you to be part of this glorious future, With the fullest of grace, you are invited to the Church of Tears, the home of our beloved lady, and you are to be the first Demon to ever tread those halls." The man finished by flashing an award-winning smile, again not quite reaching his eyes.
