Also, if Kami meant to kill you, she'd have had the portal lead to the lava. Even someone such as Appolyon would die in the depths of a volcano. Or have it lead to a room filled with nukes. By walking through that portal, you gave Kami the perfect chance to kill you, at the cost of only three minions. Had she not intended to use you, you would have been dead.
Furthermore, your symbiote protects you from her mind-rape.

Wiper moved from the shadows, catching sight of the symbiotes. It didn't make a sound, as it retrieved a heavy sniper rifle. It didn't make a sound, as it reloaded the weapon, placing a depleted uranium bullet within, capable of piercing tank armor. It crouched, putting the rifle to it's shoulder, the sights moving from one target to the next, as Wiper decided whether to kill the other symbiotes. It had recieved no orders to kill them, and yet they formed a possible obstacle to it's mission. Then again, they could form more of an obstacle if they were forced into battle by Wiper attacking.
The red symbiote had been released by Kami. Wiper decided that Kami as such had reasons for letting Carnage live, and that ended all discussion about whether or not to shoot her. If necessary, Wiper would remov her from the fight, but Wiper had many ways of extending nonlethal force to it's enemies. The black symbiote, however, was more of an issue, as it did not clearly serve Kami's goal. Wiper aimed it's rifle at the black symbiote's head. Venom. Even to such a being, a bullet would pierce it's skull, and kill it. However, Wiper knew that such an attack would not work. Venom's spider sense would alert him to Wiper's presence the moment Wiper started pulling the trigger. Instead, Wiper aimed her rifle upwards, to the sky, aiming for the north star. Pulling the trigger now would not alert Venom. As she pulled the trigger, the rifle went off, but there was no bang from the rooftop. There was a bang down in the alley, as the bullet ripped through Venom's kneecap, inexplicably having traveled there from Wipers location.
Wiper was then gone, approaching Abbadon from behind, as it awaited, once more, Abbadon's senses. As soon as he noticed Wiper, Wiper would attempt to mkae clear that Abbadon was to follow it. Upon this attempt failing, Wiper had prepared a drug that would knock out even a symbiote, based on samples taken from Ashley, both the Hope and the Fear version.

Why not?"I suppose you have the beginning of an alliance here... now... what about this Abaddon?"

Kami smiled, and put down her cup. "He's being dealt with as we speak. I have sent Wiper after him, with orders to retrieve him alive. Although he is no doubt a dangerous opponent, without the advantage of Sheold there really is no doubt that Wiper will be victorious. I'm sure you yourself are aware of her skill in this matter." Kami stood, as she walked up to Appolyon, smiling. "However, there is a trust gap here. You see, I've made these alliances before, and in the end one of us is going to become paranoid, and try to kill the other. As this is completely opposed to my goal, I would prefer to stamp such throughts out. As such, I would ask that you let me kiss you." Kami smiles, as she moves her face closer to Appolyon's "Either I kill you, and your demonic hordes rip Fear to pieces, or you remain alive, and we know we can trust one another. If you wish, In order to, in turn, demonstrate my trust....." Kami reached behind her back, and something clicked, as her diamond-lined outer gown fell to the floor, leaving only soft silk, and her throat completely bare. "Either this alliance will work completely, or it won't. I put complete trust in you, and I expect the same from you."
