As Magnus dashed towards him, Dresden righted himself, his tremendous height preventing Magnus from getting a grip on his shoulder, as he reached out and grabbed Magnus. Twisting, Dresden threw Magnus into a nearby tree with sufficient force to cause the tree itself to fall over, it's roots pointing to the sky, as Dresden's moonlit stillhouette moved closer once more. It seemed to be completely ignoring all distractions, focussing solely on it's..... prey.

It's highly unlikely Magnus will get fatally wounded from a sniper rifle, mixed with his speed and vampires hearing if he hears it he will move, and you better run lol.
A bullet moves faster than sound, especially from a high-cal sniper rifle. By the time the sound of the shot reaches his ears, the bullet is in his ear as well, and he's a bit late to dodge. Bullets are deadly like that.
I'm oldest as well.

He could also use the Inner Enclave's back entrance to sneak out and try and snipe Dresden and Manus.
Axxel is in the Inner Enclave, he could help fight back the vampire horde.
