Don't you know how to multiquite?

Though there are two personalities, it finds only one soul. The Chaos-filled soul of Mephiles. Inside is my soul, almost seeming shielded. Or maybe a part of his. Whichever is true, it works. Think of a man trying to dig his way out of prison with a spoon. That's about how much the shadows affect Mephiles' soul.As I say this, a strange black and purple sword appears in my left hand. I raise it, and slash down at the man, my purple eyes glowing.

The dark breaks out, and the sword stops. Why would you swing? Even Mephiles requires reasons, motivations, and these are taken from him. There's no reason for anything at all. All of life is meaningless, and thus, there is no meaning to anything. Without emotion, without care, without hate, anger, greed, love, happiness, pain..... there is no reason to do anything at all, let alone live. Complete silence ensues, as the Darkness itself touches Mephiles soul, and fils it. True Darkness, a power older than light, and greater than the universe, as Mephiles finds himself slowly sinking into nothingness.
Eddi or Kitten. Post.
Calmly, Jaquel walks into the inn, as two very odd-looking men covered in something gross run out of it. Jaquel moves towards the bar, sighing, as he orders an ale, and sits down, drinking it. A stream of black flame shoots down through a hole in the cieling. Great. A rogue mage. As Jaquel stands up, he slowly moves towards the hole, looking up through it, sighing. He was hoping to just have a drink.
Also, sorry for my late replies.
Is it just me, or is this struggle fairly epic?

The Darkness may influence me, but Mephiles is unaffected. There is no room in him for emotion. Instead, pure Chaos fills him. But it is enough. I advance upon the mortal man, Mephiles driving me.

Your new eyes can see the man, who stands, darkness streaming from his eyes, his skin old and dying. Where his heart was is a hole in his chest. He reaches out to you, old and frail, trembling, as if begging for you to strike him down, his expression one of exhaustion. However, the Darkness streams from his fingers, reaching to you, grabbing at you, trying to rend your soul.

((Ok...then I may just die here...that's just peachy.)) Ventus and Vanitas resist heavily, Ventus fueled by anger and grief, while Vanitas is simply fueled by defiance. Me, however, is having a hard time breathing, feeling smothered by the darkness, but is still alive due to all the pain and sorrow caused by his past.

The darkness circles you, not striking the fatal blow. However, you can feel Mephiles move forward. A faint glimmer of hope, a spark, barely a light. But to a desperate man, a spark may serve as a star, for it is sufficient to light a fire. The presence pushes down on you, pressing you, choking you. But you find all but Roxas can walk, and move.

((Creed gives you hope.))

I simply stand there, accepting death, awaiting my end. Then.I say this. My pupils seem to expand over my entire eyes, turning them black. I blink, purple iris' there when I open them. Mephiles' eyes let me see through the illusion. The darkness is dispelled, along with the feelings that come with it.

((Nott an illusion. Bad idea.))
For a moment, you see it. Truth. Darkness. Instead of being dispelled, the darkness is thicker, and you see the being you could only sense before. You see it towering above the solar system. Greater than a galaxy, greater still, as your eyes draw in it's sheer scope. A darkness larger than the universe, the darkness that was before. The darkness that existed before life, that lack life, that reclaims it's domain as one star dies after the other. A darkness so impenetrable it blackens out life itself. From this darkness, is a small link, a thread, leading to a mortal man. A man who holds this darkness in his heart, and is it's host. The Darkness is reaching out for you, not with a finger, but with a tendril, reaching to engulf you through this man. And then, as you see it, it fills you, in your mind, in your soul, in your heart. And everything goes black.
