Hmmm...... mercenaries? I doubt anyone's going to pay money for fighting power nowadays. The Old Gods certainly aren't, although you might be able to make the Human Resistance give you money. It's not worth much, in this day and age.

Ashe has a very quick mind and notices some things others do not -- minute details that most would pass over as irrelevant.Gear: One semi-automatic gun, borrowed from another resistance member.Faction: Surface ResistanceWilling to alter or add to these wherever needed.

Both are accepted, I like the concepts.

Well, you could choose to be under Kami's employ. However, nobody likes Kami, and for a reason. If you work for Kami, you're going to get screwed over in the end, and it ain't gonna be pleasant.

You could be a regular villain, but Captain Awesome is ridiculously dangerous, and no villain is going to beat him. And he uses electricity. Water is a bad choice of weapon against him.

I recommend that you are a villain who's joined Abbadon's little resistance army. He's building up a group of demons to fight Kami (he's Appolyon's opposite.)

Could you please specify "magic"? Because that covers everything from a light show to moving mountains. Please be a little more specific.

Sorry, I'm from the corny heroes/villains era.

In any case, recap time!
In Hope, portals have opened to Fear, Hope's dimensional opposite. In this alternate dimension, a villainess named Kami has recently taken over the world, working together with the Demon Lord Appolyon. However, she's planning to conquer Hope as well as the world Hope resides in. Manipulating and threatening other characters to work for her, both good and evil, she has created an advance force which will precede her army into Hope.

Hope is protected by Captain Awesome, Kami's dimensional opposite, as well as a team of superheroes known as Team Awesome. Captain Awesome has thus far protected Hope, but a Death Priest named Jaquel, a former Lord of Fear named Aissyle, a being of pure evil named Dark, have teamed up as Kami's unwilling strike force. The Death Priest is mind-controlled by Kami, and the others are working with him to avoid suffering the same fate. Currently, Team Awesome has Kami's top assassin, Wiper, locked up in a cell, and the strike force is going to attempt to free Wiper at Kami's behest.
