Tsukune overheard the professor speak to Roxy, and everything else. Great. While Tsukune had already marked the professor as a horrible person, that foolish dragon had gone and gotten someone in trouble. Couldn't he just bear his punishment alone? He'd already caused Roxy's knives to be confiscated. Tsukune decided he'd have to try and talk some sense into this dragon. If he kept going like this, he'd be shot down. Even dragonhide wasn't bulletproof. He walked up to the professor, dropping the gun. "Sir? I believe the problem lies in the dragon. I would like to be tasked with getting him back to his cell. I doubt any other could make an attempt without killing him." Tsukune didn't act simply to save the dragon from possible death, but he was sure the fool would drag Roxy to her doom as well with his antics. Hopefully, he'd be able to convince him to stop acting like a fool, and return to his cell.
For a moment, the dragon's possible location puzzled him. Through the vents, he could have reached almost anywhere in the complex. However, he would have gone to save Roxy, obviously. That seemed to be his general pattern. And even if he hadn't, Tsukune would like the girl's help in dissuading the dragon of his reckless course, as they seemed to be close. The dragon was far more likely to listen to the girl's words than Tsukune's own. Setting off, Tsukune found the place relatively easily, and stepped through the door, only to find Alexander and Roxy there, red handed in the middle of an escape.
"You guys, all readying your weapons." Deus sighed, as a massive rocket launcher appeared on his shoulder. He fired it at the stillhouette, a barrage of rockets blowing the area around him to smithereens. "Just attack already. Now, can we continue with Memory lane?"

Tsukune walked after Vlad, sighing. For a smart man, he was horrid at taking a hint. He walked after the professor, and as he did so, he took a guard's gun, giving the man a simple look to silence his protests. Tsukune wouldn't shoot the man, he couldn't use a firearm. But the length would give him some extra momentum and reach. His face was set into a grim mask, as he followed the man, the fist by his side turning black as his carapace covered it.
The demon screamed, dropping the woman, as he turned to see Jacque, a wound opening in his side. The demon hissed, turning towards this new threat. "What's this? A water spirit? This is my wreckage. Let me teach you the pecking order!" The demon leapt forward, landing heavily in front of Jacque. "Demon of the Blood, me, is above some tiny water creature. What are you? You're not a Naijad, or a were-dolphin....." The demon growls, standing at twice the height of a man. Leaning down, he bared his teeth at you, his breath smelling of blood and rot. Then the caramel-skinned man walks out of the cave, dropping a stone. Surprised, the demon looked down at his feet, spotting the grenade moments before it went off, blowing up the ridge the demon had been using as perch, and showering the area with shrapnel.
The many-armed demon had by now noticed the exchange, and was screeching, it's arms spread around it's mouth. The man with the caramel skin opened fire, his bullets opening small wounds in the creature's flesh. However, before he could do any substantial damage, a beam of red light shot from the creature's mouth, The man screamed as he was hit, and as if time slowed, Jacquel could see his flesh boiling, burning off, as the smell of cooked meat filled the air, and then his blackened corpse was on the ground, and screams were filling the air, the beam having shot into the cave.

Well, looks like Tsukune is going to have to interject more forcefully.

Tsukune grinned widely as he heard the song as the sprinklers went off. He decided he definitely liked the hacker's style. In fact, Tsukune was quite sure the plan that was forming in his head would work far better if he were to work together with the bat. Hopefully the bat would be allowed to retain some device he could use to hack into the complex's systems, which would give him access to much more information, as well as having numerous other advantages. Tsukune dropped his weights, heading off to find Vlad to ask where Marshall was quartered. Tsukune liked the idea of speaking to him before dinner.
As Tsukune found Vlad, he discovered that Hitomi was speaking to Vlad, and Vlad didn't look happy. Rushing in, Tsukune picked the professor up, holding him by the waist, still walking. "Excuse me, professor. I'm in quite a hurry. Could you tell me where the ummm..... what was his name? The hacker with the bat DNA. Oh yes, Marshall. I'm pretty sure that's what it was, wouldn't you agree?" Tsukune gave the poor man no time to speak, as he kept walking, no idea where he was going. The soldiers he passed he greeted casually with a wave and a smile, leaving them unsure of whether or not to intervene. "Yes, Marshall. You see, I had an idea that I would quite like to share with him, and discuss before supper. Unfortunately, professor, I have no idea where he might be. I assume it would be his quarters. Could you point me there?" By this time Tsukune had passed quite a distance, and he was sure that once he left, Vlad would out his anger on a nearby guard, or perhaps simply curse, instead of being able to act upon the innocent Hitomi. A guard, at least, would be able to take it.

I love that he knew both that she had been hit and that she had been crying. It'll help him when he isn't around to see what Vlad does. He's kind of a creepy girl.

..... he's kind of a creepy girl? Well that's disturbing.

I think if the head scientist is eaten, people might not look so kindly on the experimental weapons.
