When the World needs a Hero

The bullets crashed off the armor, hardly even slowing down the demon. He gestures, and your revolver explodes, the high explosive shot within going off prematurely, and it nearly takes your hand off. Using the distraction, the demon crashes down on top of you, setting his foot on your leg. You can hear a snap, as the leg breaks, and you can see the demon grin down at you, his eyes gleaming red. "A challenging fight? Ha! You humans have grown arrogant since I last walked this Earth. Hear my name. I am Ezekiel, a servant of Prince Baal." With this, Ezekiel raises his blade, ready to strike down the human before him.

Johnathan nods, and Alice rapidly starts trying to bandage their wounds with rags, Johnathan taking off his shirt to convert to more bandages. Zelos, however, was in serious risk of death due to the sheer amount of blood he had lost, and the bandages couldn't stop the flowing. "I can't do much to stop the blood. These men are going to die!" Johnathan looked pleadingly at Jacque. Obviously only through manipulation of blood could these people be saved. The pregnant woman, however, was doing quite well, and thus was left rather unattended nearby.

Okay, crap's been happening. This RP moves crazy fast, but I can't pay attention nearly as much as is needed. I don't wanna drop it though, because I'm certainly having fun. May I have a short recap of the stuff I missed?

Super Heroes/Villians

Kane, you're going to need a quick recap of the story, unless you've read the whole IC. So here it is:

There are portals to an alternate dimension, specifically a city called Fear. Fear was ruled by three crime lords, but Kami made a deal with Appolyon and destroyed Aisyle's group (Fault). Kami then proceeded to conquer that entire world, becoming a puppeteer for governments around the world. However, due to our heroes stepping into Fear from Hope, Kami learned of the existence of another world. Together with Appolyon, she set herself to conquer the world Hope is set in as well, becoming the first multidimensional regent. To this end, she enlisted both Aisyle and Ellysia against their will to free Wiper, Kami's assassin who had gone to Hope beforehand.
Wiper is being held by Captain Awesome, Kami's dimensional opposite. He's an incredibly powerful super, who's in charge of protecting the city. He leads Team Awesome, which includes Monkey Brains and Sphinx. Abbadon is also set to protect Hope (I'm temporarily playing him for Krein), and he's Appolyon's opposite. Captain Awesome has captured both Ellysia and Aisyle (who are dimensional opposites, BTW) amd wamts to get them to infiltrate Kami's group. Unfortunately, Kami is psychically linked to Aisyle, and can use that link to control him to a certain extent.

Deus simply smiled. "Of course, honey. I'm sure you say that to ALL the guys." He winks, before turning to the hole in the wall, and striding through it, the black walls lighting up as he approached, rainbows of color playing over it's surface.
